I was not woken up for my meal and then ignored when I woke up while they were serving the aisle behind me

Pros: "We missed the connection because the Istanbul airport is a silent airport and no announcement were made for boarding."
Cons: "Announcement from crew or reach out to people in front of gate would help. Also, the staff at Istanbu airport is so rude and have no respect for customers."
Pros: "NOTHING"
Cons: "No options to change booking and the one given was absorbant pricing"
Pros: "Plenty of movies/shows to watch. Food was pretty good too."
Cons: "It was too hot in the cabin with no fans overhead. The last meal did not allow me to have a veggie option and there was no place for me to order it ahead of time."
Pros: "Athens to Istanbul is a short one hour flight, made very pleasant by the attentiveness of cabin crew"
Pros: "The staff is very accommodating and the meals served on board were good."
Pros: "Better of most European airlines.. nice enough lounge and inflight service pretty good with room to improve for sure."
Cons: "Boarding was simply chaotic where staff isn’t managing the queue well separating business and economy. At arrival baggage priority meant nothing. Half the non priority bags arrived way before a massive batch of priority bags arrived. Defeats the purpose of giving your guest fast track immigration !"
Cons: "The seat pocket of the seat in front of me was broken, which resulted in a metal wire poking into my legs for the entire duration of the flight. Not only was it uncomfortable and bordering on painful; but this could also potentially be dangerous in the event of an emergency!!!"
Pros: "The flight attendants are always helpful and very nice!"
Cons: "I have been flying Turkish Air quite a bit since 2011. I have noticed that on some shorter flights they are using newer planes with a bit more leg room, but on their longer flights (Like the one I take quite a bit from Los Angeles-Istanbul) they are using older planes that are horrific for anyone over 6' tall. I can't even sit in the seat without my legs jamming against the seat in front of me, and when the recline, I have to sit sideways. They are also very small sideways. I am a big guy, but not overweight, and barely fit in the seats. Their seats are definitely getting worse since I started and they ended their economy plus seat option, which at least gave you an option, for a couple hundred dollars more, you could have a nice seat. This is of course to make more money and jam more people on their planes without caring at all for the passengers comfort when you are flying, and it makes those long 12-14 hour flights miserable! Also, the planes are very hot when you board, which can be very uncomfortable, and they no longer give you a hot towel (As they used to) until the plane has taken off. They also do not serve a 1st beverage right away after take off (10,000'). Your first beverage is with the first meal, and then you are not served anything again until the second meal, whereas most other airlines serve drinks throughout the flight. SO you fly for 12 hours with 2 service times and no offers of drinks, snacks, etc. during the flight."
Pros: "The food was great and the onboard amenities were fantastic!! Would definitely recommend to anyone!"

One of my suitcases was left in Frankfurt during the layover. The suitcase arrived the next day so, I had to get a cab to drive me for over 200 kilometers to go back to the airport to pickup the suitcase. After I picked up the suitcase and left the airport, I realized that one of the wheels of the suitcase is broken. When I tried to submit a complaint, the system did not allow me to do that because I have to do it at the airport and I have only three days to submit the complaint. Given that I am staying 200 kilometers away from the airport, I am not going to go back again to the airport to submit the complaint about the suitcase. I spent all that money on airline tickets to go to Algeria to be on vacation not to go back and forth for 200 kilometers between where I am staying and the airport.

I liked that my family got to sit together and the location of our seats. The food quality was terrible. I did not eat the dinner, the boy in front of our seats got sick after eating the food. My tv did not work for the first 2 hrs and then it did come on. The flight attendants did not provide the headphones for any of the passengers in our area, so it didn't matter if the TV worked because I wouldn't be able to hear anything. When we got off the plane in Frankfurt we had to take the stairs off rhe plane and then take a bus to the terminal. Waited 10hrs for the next flight to Vilnius and then it was cancelled the last hour and half before the flight. We scrambled to try to get an alternative. We got on a wait list for a flight to Riga, Lativa that night. Fortunately, we were confirmed for boarding but had separates seats and we have small children. We were able to talk to the passengers nearby and they gave up there seats for us. Finally arrived after midnight in Lativa to find that our luggage was lost, apparently the attendant for Lufthansa in Orlando checked in our bag incorrectly and gave us the wrong person receipt tag. They are attempting to find our luggage which is apparently on it way to a town in Germany. We had to take the transportation bolt and be driven from Riga to Vilnius which is 3hrs and finally arrived in Vilnius at 5:30am. So yes, the flight was a disaster and probably our worst trip ever with Lufthansa. I don't think we will be traveling with Lufthansa again. It's a shame because I believe we're trying but they all seemed flustered and forgetful, maybe overworked. I do hope things can change in the future.

Cons: "Flight was 3 hours delayed due to technical problems. Then it was moved up 40 min without enough time to have someone get back for boarding. Barely made the flight."
Pros: "A very quick flight, but the crew was quite friendly!"
Cons: "I would have liked for there to have been a gluten-free snack available."
Pros: "The incoming pilot to Nice parked at the wrong gate and apparently, once parked, it could not be moved. So the airport had to scramble buses which made the flight depart more than an hour late. We had a 50-minute layover and Lufthansa did not hold the plane. So we got home a day late."
Cons: "They could have left Nice on time, or held the plane for us in Munich."
Cons: "10+ hours flight. No food. No beverage. No snack. No blanket. I travel a lot and never saw a flight without service like this before. At the very minimum, snacks are reasonable. Extremely bad experience. Very disappointed with Lufthansa."
Pros: "Very good customer service on flight. Love the way they treat their customers."
Cons: "Was surprised by the $60 fee to check in a bag. I know i bought this through kayak, but it would have been nice to have told that up front, and even further, if they had let me check 1 bag for free like everyone else."
Pros: "Flight was on time, and smooth. Food was OK. Very efficient crew."
Cons: "Wheel chair accommodation in Frankfurt is poor, doable but not to the US standards. Lufthansa gate staff member took us to the wrong elevator, ended up outside security and had to go through security screening all over again, now late for flight and not early boarded. Was told she was only on the job for 2 weeks, I don't blame her for her incompetence I blame her management! Plane was loaded on the tarmac via a bus for a large international flight...no gate?? Seats in economy class are equivalent to those on a domestic flight, fairly uncomfortable on a 12hr flight. Many of the entertainment choices were not available, you can select it but all it plays is a short commercial."
Pros: "Flight was good."
Cons: "They lost 2 of my checked in bags and damaged 2 others."
Cons: "Lufthansa warse company ever fly with . everything was bad . delay like two hours , food only meat because No enough chicken and No socks to warm my foot because I was feeling cold ."
Pros: "Crew was ok, But seats so tight, Economy size seats fitted in Business Class and so much wastage of space around seat, very little quantity and quality of food available. The flights to Delhi and Amritsar has more than 60 % Punjab Travelers and there is not even a single movie in Punjabi movie. Poor."
Cons: "Economy size seats fitted in Business Class and so much wastage of space around seat, very little quantity and quality of food available. The flights to Delhi and Amritsar has more than 60 % Punjab Travelers and there is not even a single movie in Punjabi, Please learn from Qatar Airways."
Pros: "It was the best flight I’ve ever had. Friendly, polite and very careful crew. It was very pleasant to be on board. Clean, nice climate control, no any smell. The food was tasty and on time, the beverages were widely presented from juices to red and white wine or beer...so The time passed quickly"
Cons: "Only the other trip by air with Finair"
Pros: "Overall pretty good. Newer plane, business class is well configured."
Cons: "Food was good, not great. Seats when flat are quite hard."
Cons: "I was not allowed to board the flight and made to wait for 4 hours at the Paris airport. This is extremely disheartening and frustrating to say the least. I would want to rescedhule my upcoming flight to avoid such inconvenience."
Cons: "The transfer was too complicated, long distance to walk, security check line, not enough time for transfer, had to run to catch the next flight"
Cons: "My luggage didn't arrive to Helsinki and has been two days since I have inform and they said it was going to come the next flight but didn't sent it. I have been two days with the same cloths and no cleaning products, so disappointing they don't seem to care of all the inconvenience I have been experiencing."
Pros: "Food was all right because the flight didn't depart from Finland and catering was from a non-Finnish supplier. Hurrah!"
Cons: "Stewardesses announced that only chicken is available, regardless of any special meal requests (vegetarian etc..). Eventually special meals were located, but not before passengers specifically demanding for them. WTF. Finnair generously pours you a half an glass of wine with meal, for anything more you have to pay for. Supposedly you can buy snacks with money, but there were no menus or pricelists to be found in the seat pockets. Touchscreen functions were barely working on my entertainment screen, the remote control didn't work altogether. WIFI didn't work at all."
Pros: "Check in staff at counter in Chicago was very friendly and saved my trip by safely keeping a critical document that I accidentally left behind on the counter. Really friendly and attentive flight attendants on the flight."
Cons: "Aging seats and interior of plane were showing badly and it downgraded the ambience of the flight."
Pros: "the food given under gluten free food was amazing on FinnAir"
Pros: "I flew in economy. 9+ hours from ORD to HEL. The seat was average size. We were provided with a pillow, blanket and headphones. I did not use the in-flight entertainment, which was on an LCD screen. It was warm, so i didn't use the blanket. I also brought a neck-pillow, which is vital on overnight flights. They served a full dinner shortly after takeoff: I had meat lasagna which wasn't that bad, along with corn, a roll w/ butter, two saltine crackers with decent cheese and a chocolate pudding. Upon waking, I ate the breakfast, which was scrambled eggs and two sausages and a roasted tomato, a roll with butter, fruit cup and orange juice, coffee on the side. All pretty good, it was nice to have a meal before deplaning in Helsinki and waiting to get through passport control. Attendants on this flight were quite friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. No problems with luggage. All in all, a real bargain price, and I got more than I bargained for."
Cons: "As for the downside, I had no significant disappointments on the long leg of my flight on Finnair. I hope my return flights will be just as good."
Cons: "The plane was small. It was a quick flight though."
Pros: "The flight itself was fine. We had a two-hour delay due to a mechanical issue, but the crew took care of it as quickly as they could."
Cons: "It was just a relatively quick, unremarkable flight."
Pros: "Crew was very friendly and helpful. Entertainment had plenty of choices."
Cons: "The seats were very hard. It was very uncomfortable sitting that long I’m those seats"
Pros: "The movie section and food were very good"
Cons: "The temperature of the flight was out of control it was very hot for the full 9 hr there was something wrong with the plane and the crew was not addressing it."
Cons: "I don’t like how the food on premium economy is packed in a cubic box that is really messy to eat from which the small plastic cutlery. Food quality is good, but feels like being an animal being fed from a bucket."
Pros: "This airline is punctual and the pilots are good."
Cons: "The service is minimal, you pay for any alcohol and the food is nothing to write home about."
Pros: "Good movies and food good. Seats wide enough and mostly enough bathrooms."
Pros: "Liked the ticket price, the service, the food and the onboard free movies, free water bottle, free ear plugs."
Cons: "Nothing--it was a good flight - on-time and with little turbulence."
Cons: "When I booked the flight, it did not say that I was not allowed to check any bags. My wife and I had one each, and it costed us €140 total to bring the luggage. If I had known there was a slightly more expensive ticket that would have allowed us to check a luggage each, I would of course have chosen that. Very poor information provided."
Pros: "Leg room, bottle of water waiting at seat, as well as pillow and blanket. Large number of entertainment choices."
Cons: "Only one free drink per meal, otherwise only tea or coffee."
Cons: "Everything is good! But the monitor on back not working very well lot of brakes when you watch a movie or listen music!"
Pros: "Crew was ok"
Cons: "Short connection time. Missed my next flight so they send me from Warsaw to Vienna and then to Belgrade. Entertainment screen was freezing every 10 min"
Cons: "It would’ve helped to land at the airport for which we booked the ticket. Landing 2 hours away didn’t help and the airline did not provide any compensation"
Cons: "Seat was not very comfortable, my audio was malfunctioning on tv, food was small portions"
Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "Neatness, communication, all LOT airline workers were very rude, no food on flight."
Pros: "Nothing. Arrived to Vilnius with 10 hours delay. Old airplane. Terrible food. Entertaiment system not working"
Cons: "Everything"
Cons: "2,5 hrs late at departure. Lost valuable time in Warsaw, could have had a few more hours to explore the city"
Pros: "Crew, boarding."
Cons: "Comfort, food, delays. Second leg had a 1 hour delay in boarding and once in the plane there was 2 hour+ delay to take off. Spent about 6 hours in a plane for a 3 hour flight. Only coffee and water were available free of charge. Sodad, juices and food has to be purchased."
Pros: "The flight to Chicago was ok, but the crew (how the flight tender behaved) was at some points ridiculous"
Cons: "Poor behavior of the flight tender, no humility, poor respect, disgraceful... also the seats in the toilet are defective (all of the passengers noticed this) - the plastic covers when you lift them (open) do not keep vertical position, they always fall down what is very annoying (how can you use the toilet if the cover is falling on your back all of the time?)"
Pros: "Boarding went pretty smoothly and quickly"
Cons: "The staff seems to be lacking the enthusiasm and warmth towards the passengers."
