Vulcano Island is a place known only to elite travelers because the resorts found on the island are some of the best in Italy. On this small island just north of Sicily is the Mari del Sud resort. This resort offers guests some amazing beach access. The black sand beaches found on Vulcano Island are some of the largest in the world. When on the beach just look back towards the island and you will see Vulcano Mountain. With a beachside restaurant, this is a great place to unplug and recharge while being treated with luxurious amenities. Great features in this hotel include guided hiking tours, including going to Stromboli and other famous sites.

The best part about staying at the Mari del Sud Resort must be the rooms. These rooms are the perfect places for guests to relax. The rooms all have lots of great amenities, but perhaps the best part for guests is the rooms all have patios. These patios are the perfect place to enjoy the view, have a romantic dinner, or just simply take in a beautiful sunrise or sunset. There are 89 different rooms to choose from in this resort, and all have an exceptional view. Also, every room includes breakfast and has lots of towels so you can head to the pool or the beach with the greatest of ease.

The Mari del Sud Resort on Vulcano Island is a great example of Italian hospitality in one of the most interesting places in the country.
