The Infinity pool is the most amazing I have ever seen. the views are incredible!
the hotel is in a wonderful position with a beautiful sight, very clean with friendly staff. highly reccomended for a relaxing holiday. great buffet for breakfast. rooms are very comfortable. the restaurant is a bit pretentious.
What I didn't expect from a five star hotel was having two single beds put together to make 1 Queen bed. I wish they had one Queen bed. The view and the pool right by the water was amazing
The rooms were beautiful, the service excellent. The location is unbeatable- breathtaking view of all the Aoliean Islands, and the sunset views are magnificent. I did not care for the restaurant/pool bar. The food was unexceptionable, and the service in the restaurant was abysmal.
The hotel is a complete relax with one of the best sea views and sunsets I have ever seen. The service is very attentive and we stayed in a deluxe room with a huge terrace overlooking the sea and volcano, I can recommend this great hotel to everybody looking for relaxing vacations.
The hotel is right on the beach, so it takes zero time getting there. The cost was disproportionate to the service, facilities, maintenance level, size of room, etc... I have in the past paid a quarter of the money for the same level of service, facilities, maintenance, etc... I suspect location plays a key role here, as Vulcano is a very touristic destination, even for Sicilians. Disappointed by staff lying to me at breakfast when I asked for a plain croissant (they only had jam and cream-filled ones out). They said they had finished, but 10min later I found some inside (on the way from the breakfast area to the kitchen) next to a pastry cone full of cream.
very classic holiday hotel (the name of the hotel could make you fear or dream something special, whichever, in this case you might be disappointed!) . friendly staff, ready to help and provide good service. pleasant surrounding. good location in the island, close to the harbour, the thermal mud and the two main beaches. mosquitos
yes, i'd enjoy no
Nice hotel with a pool and lots of small, quiet terraces for the guests. The pool water was very cold and the sides were a little bit green
i liked the staff at reception very friendly but i felt the gentleman at breakfast was not very approciable needs to be more friendly
Friendly and helpful staff. Basement room without proper windows.
The room was clean, the staff were friendly and it was a short walk to the port. Hugely expensive for what you actually get.
beautiful region and the hotel garden with nice swimming pool no
A nice and clean hotel with comfortable rooms. Air conditioning could not be set in individually. Price is too high for this hotel, as for all hotels on the Eolian islands.
The staff was helpful. The hotel is quite far from the port (10 to 15' walk but there is a shuttle to help with your luggage on your arrival/departure).Breakfast was ok, but disappointing when you're up for hours of hiking!
Loved the size of the room and the big bathroom. Very pleasant laid back atmosphere overall.
Nice staff Coffee
quiet and beautiful ambiance, nearness to the beach Swimming pool was not accessible over the whole period of holiday.
Room was very clean, staff were fantastic, pool area was great. Dinner and wine were good value. Air conditioner made weird noises at night sometimes.
peace and quite
The Hotel has an excellent restaurant, the dinner at the time was 20€ and for that you get a very good meal. The staff is nice, the Hotel has a small pool and the room we got was nice, roomy and clean. We were picked up at the harbor by the hotel. Except a malfunctioning shower cabinet (doors corroded by sulphur), there is really nothing to complain about. It´s however important to remember that this is the same sulphur rich water people come to enjoy. There are cheaper hotels on Volcano, but this one is worth the money.
- Hotel shuttle from the harbour and back - View, environment and beach Breakfast starting at 8.30am (difficult when tou have a boat) Service at the restaurant
It is right on the beach, and the restaurant is very good. Also a surprisingly good breakfast.
it was closed to the sea. Thw facility is in poor technical cobdition. The locks in the doors are rusted. The hotel is closed during the night; it is impossible to og out or come in.
We had to leave early in the morning, the staff was very helpful and served us breakfast though it was not breakfast time yet. The view from the terrace was unbelievably beautiful.
The hotel is right on a really nice beach and out of season it was nearly empty. We have very nice memories of a carafe of wine in the restaurant! Thin walls and a fair bit of noise from our neighbours. I wouldn't like tostay here in high season. The quality of the food at the hotel restauarant was pretty dire.
everything, location, staff, room, breakfast, the pool
Swimming pool Dinner - little choice of menu
The rooms were large and comfortable. The pool was beautiful. Restaurant staff was cold and unfriendly. Food was average nothing exceptional. We sent back an entree which was not to our liking and ordered a replacement entree and were charged for both.
The pool is magnificent and the room with the balcony is pretty and welcoming..Loved the double doors out to the balcony. A dog was constantly barking and we had to keep our door closed..Construction in the area, but when not there this must be a very quiet luxury hotel.
nice and friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms we booked half-board. the menu was a bit repetitive, but food in general ok.
The staff and their service was exceptional. So was the cuisine. Do ask for their homemade Cannoli and the Malvasia from Salina to complement it! The three chefs are in the same class as the three tenors. The food was extraordinary, they recommended some excellent local wines and they even catered personally for the vegetarians in our party. They picked us up at the harbour and dropped us off at 630 am for our return trip at no extra charge. We look forward to spending a longer holiday there on our next visit!
Overall, the hotel stay was great. The room, facilities, grounds, etc were very clean. The environment was peaceful, and if we ever make it back to Lipari, this is where we will stay.
Very nice pool and garden area, the room was large and comfortable. Staff was rather inept. Whatever you asked for - they had to call the director. They were not able to help with the transport to Catania airport (you need to take the ferry from Lipari to Milazzo, then a bus).
Margarita on reception provided excellent customer service, calling our previous hotel to locate an item left behind there and also proactively arranging an excursion for us based on very limited (and somewhat inaccurate) information we provided. The restaurant staff were charming as well. The hotel could consider extending breakfast until 10.30. I noticed a number of people still eating when everything was cleared away promptly at 10.00.
Beatiful place, nice staff, great breakfast
The staff were very freindly and cooperative, and had the information we wanted about tours, ferrys etc. The rooms were good, but did not have the promised views. Not the sea on one room, and the "garden view", side, didnt have any garden.
Good, quiet location overlooking Lipari. Although the hotel is a little way from the center of the town, shuttle bus service is provided..
Wonderful place. The building is so charming (you really feel as being in a small sea village!), new, clean, everything! Our room was big, perfectly clean, with a wonderful terrace from where we could see the harbour and the village! Very nice staff, they can help you virtually on everything. No pool (I know, the sea is better, but given the small amount of beaches in Lipari...). Breakfast could be a bit more varied.
Best speaking Italian ever met within this hotel staff - Ms Melissa; cleanliness - they changed the towels even twice a day; serenity of the surroundings - a residential area not assaulted by tourists; good taste implicit in everything ... Overall great. No garden available - we did not check though the "terrace garden" and they recommended a tourist office offering trips which did not prove to be serious, this should really be taken care of and I think they already did due to our complaint.
English speaking Staff very helpful- Nice breakfast.
It's a lovely hotel and has a nice pool. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The free internet was easy to use, in the lounge area of the hotel. The roof gardens were also very pleasant.
Trully friendly manager and receptionists. Courtesy van brough us from the port to the hotel and back. Luggage brought to the room and all facilities pointed out to us. Superb room and services. Tasteful decoration and real comfort. Located in a nice and quiet street besides another hotel and a fantastic restaurant. Just 4 or 5 minutes walk from Marina Corta and Corso Vittorio Emanuele Staff serving breakfast: Nothing reprovable but not as friendly as the rest of the staff.
The friendlyness of the staff and the facilities, for example the fantastically clean and warm swimming pool, the jacuzzi on the roof and the sun beds. Location was great aswell.
The quiet location. comfortable rooms. There was a conference at the hotel with a lot of people. This made it a bit uncomfortable to use to pool area during the day.
Extremely friendly staff, very helpful and acomodating. A bautiful Hotel, highly recommend it!!! Great location also! Could have better breakfast, more variety and fresh bread.
Staff, room and swimming pool
The hotel is one of Lipari's best. Its location is 5 minutes to the main street. There is internet but it didn't work for us in the room (with cable) we needed to go to the reception hall. I wish more ppl knew english, ask for Alicia (if I recall well). You can see that there is not a lot of staff and thus the service is fair but not good; for example I remember us taking the luggage to the room even on arrival. But they had a shuttle to the port which was very convenient.
