Yellowstone Cutthroat Guest Ranch - Wapiti - Building
1
8.4 Excellent (132 reviews)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the place, the staff, restaurant and the view. This place has two buildings for housing, one with 3 rooms and a nice long porch. Our unit had a wood stove, all wood walls and very comfy. Get to know your neighbor. You never know whom you get to meet, what you get to learn or who you get to help! When you go to Cody or Yellowstone area/perimeter (which is a short drive fm here) and doing breakfast, GO EARLY or you will wait forever. (Do any eating at non normal times. It will save you lots of idle time. If you have children, plan around your grazing times.) One thing about the place is that they have a RESTAURANT on site. (a little pricey, but food, service & staff were excellent.)
Cons: When places in this area refer to a “cabin” you may not be getting your own lone building. This caught me off guard. A “cabin” where we come from is a building to its own. HOWEVER, great quiet place. I was just expecting a single unit. ... The only draw back.
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful stargazing due off the beaten path location.
Cons: It was a little unusual that there was no key available to room and while nothing went missing from room, it was still weird and made me uneasy to leave possessions in room.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Pictures were deceiving. Thought we were getting a decked out cabin not a bunk house.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved the place. Nice cabin/room in a rural setting with a 500ft walk to the bar/restaurant. Very quiet, Comfortable beds and a good clean shower. Good access to main road a d short drive to Cody. I was lucky to enjoy live music while having a good dinner in their restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, the owner was also very helpful
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great views, nice and clean cabin

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice authentic, western building; comfortable common areas and fun bar area with terrific view; beds are the most comfortable we've ever had at any hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, kitchenette
Cons: Bed too soft. Needs better pillows. Could use some better pots and pans. A knife would be nice. Please put a blind on the bathroom window.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleased with the décor of the Langford suite - historical and yet had all the practical amenities, along with a huge dose of character. Best things were the bar (with its view!) and the owner, Rand, who was extremely accommodating and very friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was the only downfall, and it was not the food but the fact that the electrical breaker kept tripping.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place had a very rustic feel and was very warm and inviting. I loved it!
Cons: I was unable to check out the general store attached to it because no one was available to open it and stay in there so I could buy something. I asked what the hours were, and they asked me what I needed out of there. I said I just wanted to look around and they said, well, when you what you want, we'll come back and let you in. I never did, since I felt like I was troubling them. Perhaps they should just get rid of it if it's not paying for itself.....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rustic comfort close to Yellowstone and Cody, Wyoming. On site dining and bar, pet friendly outdoors, beautiful scenery. Comfortable beds, kitchenettes and clean bathrooms makes us want to come back
Cons: It was perfect for us, no complaints.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Love the location of the lodge. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for the pretentiousness of the Ritz-Carlton this is not the place for you. It is a very relaxed and laid-back facility. The cabin was comfortable and well supplied.

Pros: Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Wi-fi was substandard and slow. TV only had about 8 working channels and was virtually a no-show. Laundry facility was very handy. Location was very good to go to Yellowstone 30 miles or Cody about 20 miles. FYI, Cell phone reception in the area was little to none. It was good lodging & breakfast for the money.
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful mountain setting, free breakfast
Cons: Rooms small, WiFi slow (though given the remote location it’s ok)
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The staff was rude and treated us like trash the woman there yelled and my daughter and told her she was going to called to sheriffs on her just because she was give her opinion on a misunderstanding . I could not believe her rudeness I will not stay there again the room is dirty and smells bad everything is outdated carpet is filthy not to mention the so call “breakfast” there is nothing good to eat there that is good . And they just stare at you while you eat that makes you uncomfortable. I don’t recommend this place it’s not worth the money I’d rather pay more in a nice clean place with good breakfast. So if you like throwing your money away go there :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place to spend the night close to Yellowstone park comparing to other hotels at Cody / if you are coming from the east side.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pet friendly, breakfast provided, awesome location. While the amenities are fairly basic, and isolated, it provides an excellent jumping off point to visit Yellowstone if you're an early riser. Plenty of space to walk the dog.
