Pros. Quick stay, but check in was super easy, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, bright, and updated. Also great water pressure! Everything we wanted/needed.
Pros. It’s a great location and the place is super clean
Pros. Very reliable and consistent. Good value for money. Excelllent location a few blocks away from the White House and all the monuments on the National Mall
Pros. location and walkability to the national mall. Full kitchen.... regular size fridge, oven/stove, sink, microwave!! staffs are very, very helpful and friendly and courteous
Pros. We stayed one night as we were attending a performance at the Kennedy Center. The location was great- we walked to the venue and got a quick and cheap cab ride back. We also walked to the monuments and major DC attractions. The location is great, and there is a Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks nearby, if you don't want to pay high restaurant prices for breakfast. The room was gorgeous, and we had a view of the Washington Monument from our window! The staff was helpful and friendly, and even with parking the rate was good. If we didn't have to park a rental car, it would have been a downright steal!
Cons. Really nothing to complain about. The parking is expensive, and valet only but you don't really need a car to see the DC tourist sites, and the parking fee was comparable to every other hotel in the area. Free breakfast would have been nice, but I don't expect it in this type of hotel. I didn't use the restaurant, and instead went to Starbucks for breakfast and coffee.
Pros. Room was comfortable and clean.
Cons. The television in the room is extremely outdated and did not provide a clear picture.
Pros. The room was huge for such a great place!
Cons. The parking was a little expensive.
Pros. Rooms were very clean and modern. Staff were extremely courteous. Restaurant food was excellent. Great stay all the way around, I would stay there again without doubt.
Pros. Very clean. Very comfortable rooms. Located near GWU so the neighborhood is not far from fun activity, yet quiet when need be. Friendly staff and they check on you at least 3-4 times a day.
Cons. Aging facilities. One of the buildings located across the street from homeless people in tents, which brings you back to reality about ther affordable housing situation within this country.
Pros. * Room was a good size * Room included a kitchen area with full-size fridge and sink.
Cons. The room was extremely cold, and when we turned the heat on, the vent blew colder air out. We called the front desk and were informed that they had "switched over" the system and that even though it was turned to heat it would only cool the room. We were told a space heater would be sent to the room, but one never arrived and then hours later we were told they were out of space heaters. If the heating and cooling system can be "switched over" then presumably it can be switched back, so my question for this hotel is if everyone was so cold that you ran out of heaters, why not switch the ability to heat rooms back on? Overall it was kind of bizarre and extremely inconvenient to have to wear coats indoors and put a damper on our otherwise-pleasant stay.
