Apollo Lodge Motel
Overview
Situated in the heart of Wellington’s entertainment precinct, Apollo Lodge Motel offers free WiFi and free off-street parking, subject to availability. Each room includes heating and a smart TV with 7 national channels, streaming services are installed, however personal accounts will be required for use. All rooms at Apollo Lodge Motel Wellington feature ironing facilities and a private bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities, plus a microwave, refrigerator and toaster are provided. The bars and restaurants on Courtenay Place are a 2-minute walk away. It is a 10-minute drive to Westpac Stadium and the Interislander Ferry Terminal. Te Papa Museum is 10 minutes’ walk away. We provide our guests with one free park per room booked but please note this is based on availability and is first come first serve, we are unable to reserve parks. We have enough parks for most of our motel and it is quite rare that we completely run out. Guest laundry facilities are available.

Pros (+) My friend and I spent 3 nights at the Apollo Lodge and we were very pleased with our stay. Staff was pleasant, I believe it was a husband and wife team running the place. The location could not have been better, a 5 minute walk from the downtown area for food and drinks but on a quiet street. Then again, my bed was right by the window so I was woken up a few times by loud people walking by the str...
Cons (-) Our room also looked different from the online pictures which were of the upstairs rooms. I addressed this with the staff and they said they could not control which pictures were shown. A bit disappointing, but the room was the same layout nonetheless. The beds were not the most comfortable beds but they did just fine.
