9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly. The hotel was beautiful.
Cons: The birds
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I've traveled extensively and this is the best service I ever experienced. We had our own concierge, Mark Campbell, and he was a big part of making our stay special. Service everywhere (front desk, beach, restaurants, housekeeping) was outstanding. Very friendly and professional. The hotel is beautiful and the beach is amazing (I never made it in the pool because the beach was so nice). Service and food was great in all the restaurants, but I thought Blue was too expensive relative to the experience.
Cons: The beach was a little stony with coral. We walked down the beach and swam there and it was much more sandy.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location on Seven Mile Beach! The staff was top notch. Everyone from doormen to housecleaning went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I was amazed at the level of service that was provided. I would highly recommend staying here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel exceeded our expectations for a luxurious vacation on the beach! The restaurants were amazing, the service was impeccable, the food top notch!
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like about this hotel!
6.5 Good
Pros: The staff at the hotel was very helpful and attentive.
Cons: The hotel is simply not worth the money. Our room was dated and not worth the price that they are charging for the room. The room was mediocre but with what they charge and the Ritz Carlton name I expected and outstanding room with a wow factor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Expensive
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beach and staff were terrific
Cons: Length of walk from other side of hotel, but not that bad. That was the only thing

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great setting and a lovely peaceful experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and Dean and Venus were super. Quiet, removed from cruise ship chaos. A rental car can be arranged easily by Dean if exploring farther afield. Walking distance to two excellent restaurants and good snorkeling beach. All necessary water equipment was available.
Cons: Nothing could have been better!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was immaculate. The room pristine and bed extremely comfortable. Dean was kind and very helpful. We took the property bikes to the beach and dinner all near by and fantastic.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and nice location, beautiful building, nice small pool and the hammock Room spacious, well furnished and comfortable, comfortable bedding, AC in room worked well and quiet, perfect cleanliness. Good service by Dean and his staff. Breakfast was really good, was served at 8.30 till 9.30 in the kitchen and patio, freshly prepared: eggs, breakfast meat, pastries or potatoes, fresh fruit, and juices. The kitchen is well equipped if you wish to prepare your own food, tea and coffee. The possibility to use snorkeling equipment (for free).
Cons: The facility is located far from the beach and other attractions, taxi from airport costs 45 $, so I would advise to rent a car. There are only two bicycles (for over 20 guests) and there was often a problem with their availability.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beach towels, beach chairs and coolers are available for the beach which was very convenient. Loved the pool and hot tub!! Other guests were very nice and it was fun meeting other guests and sharing traveling stories. The grounds were crisply landscaoed and our room was clean and tidy. The location was great- away from the tourity sections but close enough of a drive to do things. The grocery store was convenient to get to and not far away. We enjoyed eating at the Boggy Sand Carribbean Kitchen!!
Cons: I have no complaints as my expectations were exceeded.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about my stay, wished my stay was longer
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed my stay !!
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice apartment for self catering clean reasonably clean, decent WiFi
Cons: Breakfast 8:30 9:30 was very narrow window we got there at 8:45 and there was little left and it was of low quality we had to root around the fridge for bread ask them for a toaster bread and jam was the lowest quality as was the juice drink, the chopped fruit was good. We had one breakfast but they charged us for 7. There was nowhere to sit so we just hovered on the counter. We would have appreciated tea coffee in our room rather than have to go the communal area which was outside down a large flight of stairs- we bought our own coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I couldn't have picked a better place to stay during my trip to the Cayman Islands. The Shangri-La was beautiful and in a perfect location - far enough to get away from all the touristy madness, but close enough that it was only a few minutes driving to just about everything I wanted to do on the west side of the island. The property itself is clean and very well-maintained. My room was cute and comfortable. I loved laying down and relaxing in the hammocks outside. The innkeeper and all of the staff are extremely kind and hospitable. I traveled alone and I felt very safe the entire time. They have snorkeling gear, beach chairs, and beach towels available for tenants to borrow during your stay. Wow! Don't hesitate to stay here - I had a 5 star experience and for the price you pay, it can't be beat. Thank you!
Cons: There's absolutely nothing I can complain about. Loved everything about my stay here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Shangri La was a piece of paradise on an already beautiful island. I Can't thank Dean enough for being such a great host, it was the best place we chose to say for this trip!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this tucked-away retreat from the high-rise mess of seven-mile beach. Dean and Marissa were amazing staff ready to accommodate in any way possible. The rooms and grounds were beautiful and well-kept. We loved sitting on the screened-in porch to eat, read, catch up on E-mails, have a drink, talk with our new friends (fellow guests from around the world), or just watch birds, iguanas, and wildlife in the adjacent lake. Also, Dean is so generous -- you can borrow snorkel gear, towels, beach items, bikes, plates, books, etc.
Cons: Everything was great. We found that having a car was a virtual necessity to explore the island. Biking might work for those in shape, but many of the roads are narrow and well trafficked, so it would be a bit dangerous. We heard that taxis are expensive, but didn't try them out as we rented a car very inexpensively. The two nearby restaurants are excellent, but very pricey -- so beware. There are many interesting, less fancy places right on the beach, such as the Heritage Kitchen.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location to the beach and activities - the facilities were clean and staff attentive
Cons: No complaints
6.8 Good
Pros: The location was very good. Some of the staff was very good - like the staff at the front desk and the staff at the Beachside restaurant.
Cons: The staff at the Bar and Grill restaurant was not good. The waiter we had for dinner, forgot our drinks. We waited for over 30 minutes, until he returned and asked us again what we ordered. The food was served in plastic dishes, probably due to the fact that this restaurant serves the guests around the pool during the day. As with most things here, the food was very expensive. The bathroom did not have the expected amenities - only 1 robe in the bathroom, no toothbrush and toothpaste set, no shaving set, no cotton ear buds, no mouthwash. I was not prepared for the extremely high cost of the food and drinks at this hotel - for an average meal for 2, with a modest bottle of wine, I had to pay over US$200!!! Two cocktails served on the beach cost US$60!!! Basically, the hotel is nice, but very expensive. I did not quite expect such high prices for a 4-star hotel... even for a 5-star hotel these prices are very high.
7.0 Good
Pros: The ocean is absolutely beautiful. The beach staff were very kind and made it very easy to set up your umbrella and beach chairs.
Cons: It seemed as if every little thing except water was an added cost. $10 an hour for an ocean floaty seems a bit unnecessary. Drinks were also very expensive and their happy hour only pertained to beer and 3 out of their 7 or 8 cocktails.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great water stations by the beach and pool area. Super cold water that was necessary and refreshing. They also had a drink of the day station by edge of beach. They did not hold back on the liquor.
Cons: It is a pricey hotel, but that's the island.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Westin bedding is always perfect, pools and beach were very nice. View from our room was amazing.
Cons: A bit out of the way from Georgetown.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful from the minute we arrived. Alessandra at Chck in was kind, friendly and very helpful. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the hotel left us a complimentary bottle of wine and strawberries.
Cons: There is nothing I didn't like.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was super comfy! The hotel was very clean and the staff was wonderful. The beach and all the fun things to do were great too!
Cons: I liked the food on the room service menu better than the food offered at the outdoor restaurant. I didn’t like all the straws I saw laying on the beach.
5.0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: service
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Ivan, Daniel and Ollie were exceptional. Check in was easy. Getting a taxi was a breeze, doormen were helpful and pleasant. Brunch was great. Coffee shop was ideal, great variety of healthy and indulgent.
Cons: Better quality toiletries would be nice. The house keeping staff was loud every morning and one day our room was missed. We had to call at 3pm to have them come. Not all cabanas should be reserved, some should be first come first serve. Fresh ceviche at Tortuga would be nice.
7.4 Good
Pros: Stunning location, beachfront fabulous, loved cabanas. Front desk well organized.
Cons: Checkin claimed to be upgrading our room but put us on a first floor corner with a ping pong table outside our terrace door.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at the Westin Resort on Seven Mile Beach from Dec 23-30, 2019. We are a family of five, two adults and three children, and we booked two Ocean View rooms. We requested our rooms to be next to each other and I called the hotel Front Desk a few days earlier to confirm our request. Fortunately, our request was honored and we were given two rooms next to each on the 2nd floor. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly greeted by the soothing scent of the lobby (White Tea Westin specialty oil); we checked in and the process was relatively easy and short. Our rooms were initially not ready but as soon as we were done with checking in, they told us they were ready. The rooms were nice and spacious, bright and clean, as well as the bathrooms. Our three kids stayed in one room, our daughters slept on the king-size bed, while our son slept on the sofa-bed. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the down comforters. Even though we were on the 2nd flor, the noise level was minimal. Facilities: My husband went to the gym every day and he enjoyed the facility. I took a couple of beach yoga classes and loved them! The beach is absolutely spectacular, one of the best stretches of sand, and since the reset faces the West, the sunset is exquisite! The beach attendants are extremely efficient, professional and courteous. The water sports are run by a company called Red Sail, and they do a great job. Highly recommend their services. Food: There’s a great café in the lobby that we went to for coffee, bagels, a quick bite and one of the best avocado toast! The beach restaurant is great, offering delicious and great favorites. We tried a couple of places across the Westin one day and they were both very good, but the food at the hotel is excellent, so for the most part we ate there during the day and then ventured out to try out different restaurants for dinner. The concierge desk was very helpful in recommending good restaurants and securing dinner reservations.
Cons: My only criticism is of the frenzy over the chaise lounges on the beach that some hotel guests have taken to the next level: getting up at an un-Godly hour to reserve them, while other guests took it upon themselves to police unattended chaise lounges and ask attendants to remove the personal possessions that some guests had left on those chairs. In fairness, we were there during Christmas break and the hotel was fully booked; moreover, we faced the same issue last Christmas in Mexico at another resort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was very good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for family! Close to beach and pool! Very private and not crowded. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, loved everything about it. Can’t say enough about the staff. Dwight went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, having fun, headed in the right direction, etc.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful and quiet and great screened in balcony/patio.
Cons: Decor could be updated but not awful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful condo...five steps out the patio door and my feet were in the sand. The snorkeling was great right off the beach. Close location to Kirks Market which has a wonderful selection of groceries. Staff and property were spectacular. We will definitely go back
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean and spacious. Very handy having washer and dryer as we were in the water a lot. The pictures of marine life and decor were very nice too. Would stay here again and would recommend it also. The staff took really good care of us and as we were celebrating multiple birthdays and graduations, they had a welcoming package for us too! Sophia was really helpful with info where to go and eat. And Lisa did a very good job of keeping us with plenty of towels and a clean condo. Also the ground keeper was very nice too but I didn’t get his name. Really really nice being close to the beach.
Cons: I was ok with the temp being set at 79 during the day and 75 at night, but the men were a little uncomfortable. The fans helped a lot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at GVC were so extremely kind and helpful. From day one we felt like family. Anything we needed was provided for and if they didn’t have what we needed they were able to direct us to where we needed to go. Would DEFINITIVELY stay here again!! Thank you!!!
Cons: I can’t say one thing I didn’t like!!! I guess maybe just a few staples would’ve been helpful like dishwashing soap or salt and pepper oil. Just those basics but that’s about it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very convenient to many restaurants, grocery, activities without being too crowded. Convenient and private all at once! It was so nice to have the beauty and shade of trees right on the beach. And great to be able to snorkel right off the beach! Sophia was helpful and very kind. Great accommodations for a family. Not touristy feeling—felt like we were living local!
Cons: We didn’t receive any type of cleaning services during our 4-night stay. In fairness, we were there over a public holiday, so that may have been a factor. And I think if we had asked for towels or anything, management would’ve provided it—they were very responsive. The temperature of the hot tub was too hot—actually painful to get into it!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff and of course location.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good especially the buffet. Lobby and front areas of hotel were nicely decorated and very clean. The staff was very helpful and attentive.
Cons: storms have eroded the beach so it is almost non-existent. The pool is small and over chlorinated, Rooms need updating
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was awesome
Cons: When making reservation through booking.com I clicked on add breakfast. The prce went up and I made the purchase however when I got to resort I was informed breakfast would be $30/person
7.5 Good
Pros: Food was very good.
Cons: Very difficult to obtain chairs by beach and pool. A bit crowded everywhere.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I liked the variety of food offered. The staff was very friendly. Loved the activities (movie-bonfires-etc)
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great resort property with all The amenities
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property was lovely! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Loved having all the water sports close by, restaurants were awesome, food was so good. Lots to offer.
Cons: My only complaint is I don't understand why there are not queen bed options in the rooms. I was told only a King or 2 doubles. We are a family of 4, my kids are teenagers. The double beds were just not very comfortable. I think you should strongly consider having rooms with 2 queen-size beds. I stay in Marriotts all over the world and have never had this problem before. We could have done two rooms, but that would have doubled the cost for our vacation, and it was already expensive enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was exceptional! The employees were some of the friendliest I have encountered. They call it the Beach House and they have really worked to give it that feel. Well done.
Cons: Hard to get a chair at the pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, excellent service, and delicious food!
Cons: No, we loved EVERYTHING!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet was very good as was Veranda for dinner. The spa was great. The beach was beautiful.
Cons: You should specifically ask for a room without a connecting door to the room beside you. It was very loud. They moved us to another room with no connecting door, and that solved the problem. There are chickens and roosters all over the island, including right outside the balcony rooms. The rooster likes to wake people at 6:10am. The bill is in CI dollars, so expect that to translate to at least $1,000 US more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We visited a few hotels on Grand Cayman and the Marriott was the best by far. Such a great deal for clean facilities, friendly staff, amazing food and drinks, and water activities included. We will definitely be returning with our kids in tow!
Cons: They didn't do a good job cleaning our room before we arrived. There was a foul smell in the bathroom that was caused by mildew from the previous guest's wet clothes from beach/pool.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The request for an early check in was granted. The warm reception, the mattress and pillows, and that an hospitality room was provided for a shower after check out.
Cons: The entire facility was too noisy, the shower water in my room was poor and too hot. I thought the location was going to give me a more relaxing feel of the Island, but I was disappointed to see too many loud people everywhere in the hotel.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and ability to use Westin hotel amenities.
Cons: Front desk staff were just doing their job. Got the feeling they were going through the motions or where just mentally distracted. Some where on personal phone calls during interactions with them. Continental breakfast could have been better if it is offered.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was courteous and friendly. Located across the street from the Westin. Great beach access and located near decent restaurants.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The restaurant was very good and convenient. The staff was nice and they allowed me to check out late because I was diving in the morning.
Cons: The breakfast was not good. I got there at 9:10 and there was hardly anything left. I did not eat the breakfast on the second day. The room was damp. The air-conditioner cooled the air but did not remove the humidity.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly Staff. Great deal here. We slept here then used their sister property across the street for the beach and pool.
Cons: Our room faced the garbage dumpster.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The price was too expensive! $179.00 for four people. It was not like we ordered steak or lobster, but only an average meal.
Cons: The price.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Located near beach
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by the condition and quality of the hotel building the grounds and the rooms. From the map we thought it was across the street from the beach. The hotel is actually on the beach, with another hotel in front of it maybe 50 yards
Cons: Not really it was a good value with a basic breakfast included. It is centrally located on 7 mile beach.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great place for a low price.
Cons: The beach area is much more condensed and crowded than what is portrayed but still great.
6.8 Good
Pros: Staff was very friendly and professional.
Cons: The retain frozen an amount of money in my credit card and they released 2 weeks after my staying.... I can understand a couple of days but no more. Also check when you make a booking all the taxes and the warning of this shows always after you paid....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is real convenient to the beach , downtown ,

Pros: Breakfast was great, room was very clean, pool area was so much fun!
Cons: Not being for warned about the $100 deposit after confirming and arrival. Never paid a deposit AFTER paying in full. Our room smelled of smoke upon arrival, but I am a smoker, so I didn’t mind that much, I did mind being blamed for the smoke smell with a warning u set my door. I did NOT smoke in my room, but I did receive a warning. I was with my 10 yr old, I never smoke indoors.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, quick access to beach, great breakfast, comfortable bed
Cons: the access to beach towels was a bit confusing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value for money. There may be more modern and luxurious hotels along the beach, however at a multiple of the cost. We had cocktails at the Ritz and dinner at the Marriott, all just a short walk away.
Cons: Nothing to fault.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely amazing! Cordial & friendly. The breakfast was unbelievably awesome with many options. The on site restaurant was great too! The rooms are kept impeccably clean! The beach is right there and it is STUNNING

Pros: The property was very cozy and private. Well decorated with the island/vacation vibe theme. Other guest were friendly and easy going. Did not interact with the staff much, but when speaking to them on some occasions they made me and my guest feel welcomed. The rooms were decent and enough room. Everything was clean and the beds were surprising VERY COMFORTABLE. Best sleep I’ve had going on vacation. A/C was perfect especially for that kind of heat in the Islands. There are other small Inns in the area so we were with other tourist and locals. The location of this is was perfect ! Straight shot into town on one road in less than 5 minutes. So it was very convenient. I would recommend to anyone.
Cons: There should of been more brighter lighting in the room. We made due with the lighting available though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Relaxed, laid back location away from down town but close enough to walk. We liked the way they did not hassle us about anything during our stay.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and cozy in a quiet neighborhood. Can’t beat the location. The full kitchen allowed for affordable and relaxing dinners.
Cons: For the basic value I cannot complain about anything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love this place so much. It made you feel like home. Bob is amazing person. I highly recommend this place to everyone. You definitely won't go wrong. A house is super cute and clean. You have a vibe of tropical island. We definitely go back again.
Cons: No
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is convenient for George Town (island capital) which is 1 mile away, i.e. 15 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive. It is a stones throw from beautiful Smiths Cove beaches, and opposite from Sunset House hotel and diving school.
Cons: The only thing that took me back a little is the garish bright colours of buildings and out-houses (bungalows where some guests reside)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the location, nice and quiet neighborhood, somewhat between Smith Cove and George Town. Also it is only 10-15 minutes from the airport. The place has nice and vibrant colors, a pool, many small decorations, travel magazines, leaflets, coupons etc. Elena was helpful when I had special requests: she booked me a better room and granted me late checkout which I am really thankful for. I loved the kitchen with a fridge/freezer combo for every room (I also had a fridge in my room!) + free tea and coffee for everyone to enjoy. The pool is a nice addition with chairs. The shower had towels in 3 different sizes, a soapbar, shampoo and conditioner. There's a tv with tons of cable channels.
Cons: The AC was really loud in the room, although there were ear plugs next to the bed. The location is good but it is still 1 mile away from George Town. If you don't rent a car or find a taxi it's a 20 minute walk (one way) on the Sun, on the side of the road since there are no sidewalks, only when you get closer to the city center. The rooms are quite close to each other, sometimes I heard what other guests were talking about or when they had showers.
7.5 Good
Pros: The establishment was in a residential area and away from the major hotels. We appreciated the quiet and seclusion.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: The pool wasn’t clean
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property has very nicely decorated rooms with large beds and freeview TV channels with films on demand. There is also a kitchen area free to use.
Cons: There are many roosters in the morning who crow like crazy and you can hear every single one. There was a giant cockroach unfortunately in the bathroom (but it was dead).

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious apartment with nice patio area and fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. TV in all rooms (although it took some time to figure out how to turn it on). Friendly staff. Close to a variety of restaurants and shops. Got there on Easter so was fun for my daughter and her friend to find the colorful easter eggs hidden on the property grounds. Short ride to airport.
Cons: No bar or restaurant on site, although it didn't really matter as next door hotels had great places for food and drink, as well as other local places across the street and along the main road. Beach area allocated to the resort itself was a bit small, but again it didn't matter much as didn't have to go that far to find other great spots.
6.3 Good
Cons: Beach access back. Very disappointing that it is gone!!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved having a kitchen area to cook a breakfast and little washer n dryer unit! Pool was nice but no bar u could swim to:(
Cons: The pictures for beachfront area are misleading.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was beneficial to have a washer and dryer as well as kitchen with cook ware and a refrigerator.
Cons: Construction noise almost everyday that reverberates through the pool/patio area and Roosters that howl well before sunrise (3:32 AM and 4:30 AM when sunrise wasn’t until after 6:30 AM). The floor tiles and bathroom counters and place in general was not as clean as I would expect for the cost. The walls are thin and with little soundproofing so I could hear people walking above me and a baby crying below me after to roosters apparently woke the baby and by the time that quieted down the construction noise would start. Difficult to rest and feel rejuvenated when quality sleep deprivation was a consistent factor. Not sure I would return.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location to Seven Mile Beach is fantastic. Also within walking distance of multiple bars/restaurants.
Cons: Not a fault of the resort obviously, but the beach at the end of the walkway from the resort has washed out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great location within walking distance to pretty much anything you needed. great place to just chill or to be a home base for adventures. some construction going on, but it didn't impact us too much.
Cons: The construction going on was a little bit concerning but it didn't really impact us that much. would have been nice to know this ahead of time. The TV signal was more of an issue as it kept cutting in and out.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was close to stores and restaurants and it was nice having a full kitchen as well as a washer and dryer.
Cons: The beach could have been accessible
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was good mostly..but the kitchen cooking utensils and coffee maker ect..need up grading ..they were not in good shape at all.
Cons: Kitchen cooking utensils coffee maker and hardly any pans.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nicely located, 2min walk to beautiful 7 mile beach. Condo big enough for family of 6 to fit in comfortably for a price of a regular hotel room. Kitchen was a plus and allowed for easy breakfast and snacks. Front desk helped to arrange tours and things.
Cons: Construction is ongoing and that creates a bit of noise during the day. Did not bother us much but I can see how it would. Once new building is finished, it would be great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was amazing. Loved the location!
Cons: Can’t think of a thing.

7.0 Good
Pros: The location is good for me because I had a car. It might not be for others as it is pretty far away from city center. It is located on a beach estate.
Cons: Beach was closed due to major seaweed issues. The restaurant is just okay. Other than that I was good with the property.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast

Cons: The AC in the room was not working well
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value for the island
6.3 Good
Pros: It was affordable for the island
Cons: Location was okay. Close enough to drive or shuttle/taxi most places. But, once we had to wait at least 45 minutes for a taxi that never showed. A friendly guest ended up driving us to Georgetown. And housekeeping services were terrible. At least twice our rooms weren’t cleaned or re-stocked by 5 pm so we had to request it be done.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean from top to bottom. Not one speck of dirt anywhere! Super nice front desk & cleaning staff too!
Cons: The room had just a touch of a funky mothball smell.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The outdoor courtyard area was great...nice pool, great ocean view, tropical feel, hammocks for relaxing, wi-if access, well maintained.

7.0 Good
Pros: Very helpful staff
Cons: Limited shuttle service Inadequate gym
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was a little bit above the hustle and bustle of the 7 mile beach area. The Blue Iguana restaurant food was fantastic as were most of the staff, especially Jaya and Christine. Right beside a beautiful golf course. King suite was more like a 1 bdrm condo and nice although it needs some upgrades.
Cons: The many speed bumps on the road back to the resort. Suite really needs some updates in the bathroom. The shower/tub was high and difficult to get in and out of and very outdated. The shower spigot was very loose and the drain cap was broken.
4.5 Okay
Pros: I liked the scenery outside of my room. The lobby was disappointing. It did not look like a first class lobby. The staff was so so.
Cons: The lobby was not first class. we had to make an appointment for the shuttle bus. Marriott does not do that!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was good views were very nice. Front desk personal were extremely pleasant , accommodating. Especially Kylie Cristian
Cons: Some music would have been by pool and bar area
7.7 Good
Pros: The hotel itself was nice, the room was spacious and clean and the staff was super nice. Great food at the restaurant! Great pool and lounging area.
Cons: The ocean was very cloudy and had lots of seaweed. The snorkeling was zero, so unfortunately not great to hang out at the beach, but a great value if you just want to relax poolside. A bit tough to find, street signs are few and far inbetween in the island.
6.8 Good
Pros: Large rooms, comfortable beds.
Cons: Restaurant with limited menu, very noisy pool when other guests come with and play their own music for all to hear.

7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable and clean. The pool area was well maintained and clean. Stingray beach was awesome.
Cons: The hotel beach is full of rocks inside the water. Food in the island is very expensive. There is not much to do at night other than dinner and a few bars. Georgetown is a ghost town after 7pm.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, pools, restaurants, view from room
Cons: No room service, understaffed some part of the day, no spa at this resort
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The beach lagoon, swim up bar and pools are very nice! The onsite restaurants are also great.
Cons: I had a problem with a drunken guest touching my two daughters at the pool; luckily i kept my composure and when reported to management ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was done. I saw the guy at the bar again the second day and my kids were afraid to go near the pool!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service, friendly staff & beautifully decorated & clean property. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The concierge was very helpful with excursions & assisting with taxis and/or transportation. This resort was exceptional!
Cons: They need a business room that allows guests access to a computer & printer. We were happy to hear they are in the process of creating one!
7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, nice hotel, good location.
Cons: The bathroom could be cleaner.
6.2 Good
Pros: The location is great and good value.
Cons: Still under construction. New ownership and they haven’t worked out all the kinks yet.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The rooms and location are nice. They are updated and it looks nice. The pool and restaurants are ok too.
Cons: We let them know we were coming from the condo next door at 9 am and ready to check in. This is during low season so we hoped to get a room early. Came back around 4 pm(check in is at 3) and the rooms still weren’t quite ready. Once checked in, we couldn’t get towels for he pool so they told us to try after 5:30, came back at 9 pm and they said they still didn’t have any. Asked for regular towels- none, asked for washcloths- none..... and this isn’t even peak season. Hmm
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Beds and rooms were comfortable, salads and food were good, location not bad.
Cons: Construction noise or music from the bar - no quiet rooms, staff at reception are horrifically unhelpful and rude at times, bar staff who shouted at my friend for getting her order wrong, beach area rocky and a lot of seaweed (nice beach areas further north on Seven Mile Beach), very overpriced ($4 for 1/2 a can of Pepsi). Just so overpriced - don’t stay here.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Checked us into a dirty room and two other guests at the same time. Very unorganized and dated property. Would not recommend staying here
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is outstanding, pools and beach are great
Cons: Building is old but being renovated but the staff make up for it they are excellent
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The rooms were not ready on time. We checked in at 4:30 instead of 3:00. We went with another couple whose sliding door would not secure and opened every time you opened the front door. Our ac quit working 3 different times in one night (11:30 3:00 5:00) they cane up and fixed it twice. Front door leaks air all around it. No one is sure of when the 5 o’clock somewhere bar actually closes. The bartenders look away from you so they don’t have to take your order. And they offer towels for the pool however laundry is done off site so they run out quick. People at the front desk and the spread are very friendly theyshould retrain the bar staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Love the swim up bar!!

4.0 Okay
Cons: Bed that was too soft and full of polyester which is hot in Cayman .. Toliet seat was broken and "taped" up.. with tape ? Maybe can't get toliet seats in islands..??
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and helpful host. Clean room and amenities. Easy access. The host offered us local fruits and gave us great recommendations for restaurants.
Cons: Bathroom was a big cramped. My husband is a big guy.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: There was on-site parking. The towels were clean.
Cons: The parking space was tight with sugar cane on one side and rocks on the ground. The towels were old and like sandpaper, The location was far from all major activities and the property is located in a low socio-economic neighbourhood (for Grand Cayman anyway).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Value for money! Host communicated very fast and efficient for any questions we had. Less than a mile to the beaches and numeros restaurants. Closest accommodation for Kite surfing at Barkers and also for bird watching. Great comfortable bedding, cold A/C, all linens and towels according to the host are sun dried which we thought was great as it cuts down pollution. The kitchen was also used by other visitors, free coffee (Cubita, very unique cuban coffee) and tea in the morning. High Speed internet access. Great parking, we did rent a car for the second day, first day we used public buses who stopped in front of the house. 1.50 our fare. We had a great experience.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We recently stayed at this guesthouse in the Cayman Islands for our vacation and had a great time! Our host, Martin, was just terrific and knows everything there is to know about Cayman which was a huge help and saved us $$. Martin is running a great vacation spot and we had a very comfy room. Bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets and towels were all clean and neat. Actually, everything there was clean and neat! Martin has a terrific tropical garden where he is growing a variety of fruits and vegetables. We actually woke up to freshly harvested bananas sitting on the table waiting for us. The house is just minutes away from everything. Having a car helps if you want to explore the island. Definitely will go back here again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Last Minute booking, we wanted to stay previously at one of the hotel chains on 7 mile, so happy that we didn't. The iron shore guesthouse is approx,. one mile from the Westin hotel where we had our meetings. Very quite location, in a tropical lush setting, for breakfast our host surprised us with freshly harvested fruits.. Great comfortable bedding, all areas spotless clean. Best of all the Host who knows all the hidden spots for diving and snorkeling. Great dining options with 1mile + of the house.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner Milton was very nice and there was another guy who helped me get checked in who was very helpful as well. The place has parking and was simple but gave me everything I needed.
Cons: I wish there was a motion light on the porch for when I came back later in the evening I needed to use my phone light since the other light doesn’t reach to the porch.
6.8 Good
Pros: Martin the host was a lovely chap and we loved he location in West bay. Probably the best priced room on the island.
Cons: We booked three nights but only stayed one. Very difficult to sleep you had a choice of a very loud aircon which didn't work very well or no aircon and you got too hot.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The quiet, luxurious garden makes you want to stay there forever! Perfect location and great people and Martin has the best advice about places to see on the island.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere and host
