Very clean and friendly Noisy pub over the road
Excellent Stay - perfects for what we wanted and superb value for money - will be recommending it Nothing
Queen size bed was very spacious. Room was clean. No mirror in the bedroom, bathroom only. Room was opposite a busy public house, noisy people waking us up the early hours of the morning. No tea facilities in the room only in public lounge.
Receptionist/room maid/ waitress, Didn't get her name but seemed to do she all jobs and with great humour and friendliness. Carpets stained in bedroom and on the stairs. TV didn't work. Didnt get twin room as booked although above mentioned lady moved the beds and changed it into a twin, very willingly.
First off, we loved Rachael who greeted us, helped us find things and even brought us hot chocolate while we gazed out the window at the rain covered streets. She was so nice and made a big impact on us. Then there is Kevin who only smiled and helped when I told him that my wife locked our keys in the room. The place was great but the staff made this place special. When we were writing out the highlights of our trip B&B Weymouth's own Rachael and Kevin made the list. I would recommend this place to our friends. That we only stayed there one night. We were traveling through and would have loved to stay for a week or so.
Flexibility of the staff, as I was leaving earlier than they started breakfast they left items out for me to help myself. Wide choice of drinks and refreshments. The offsite parking is a bit of a pain.
From the moment of arrival the staff were very friendly & helpful. Really enjoyed the stay apart from the very cold bathroom. The en suite bathroom didn't have a heater or a blind up at the window to stop the draught a bit more. It was much too cold to even consider having a shower. We didn't mention it to the staff as we hate making a fuss. However because the staff were so lovely, we would still come and stay again. But not in that particular room!
All good None
Fabulous value for money, in fact I was very impressed with everything. Central location. Comfort. Decor. None.
Hotel staff pleasant with good attitude and prepared to go out of their way to be helpful. Room recently refurbished with good finishings. Super lounge. Mirror needed in bedroom area. Very noisy outside on Saturday night - really badly behaved youths shouting and screaming outside the hotel(obviously not the fault of the hotel - may simply have been a rowdy night in Weymouth).
Fresh fruit salad at breakfast was excellent! Stopped serving breakfast quite early (9a.m)
Clean, efficient, just what I was looking for.
Easily found - excellent breakfast and room was very comfortable - although found the shower a bit small but this didn't put me off staying at the Ashmira again. NOTHING
The rooms are lovely and bright and kept to a high standard and the breakfast is cracking and keep you going all day There is nothing we did not like about this hotel
everything about the ashmira is first class the owner roger is welcoming the standard of hotel is fantastic and the breakfast is great . n/a
Spotlessly clean and most welcoming staff, wonderfull breakfast meal better than most hotels I have stayed in. Being petty !! car park on small side having to juggle around cars.but no way ruined any part of holiday.
Friendly staff, near to local amenities, yummy fruit salad breakfast.
The owner was courteous and helpful, without being 'full-on'/obtrusive. Rather prescriptive approach to cleaning the room - if there was no 'free to service' sign left on the door, then the room wasn't cleaned, even though it was clear guests had left and the room would need cleaning. We forgot to put the sign out but a knock on our door would have soon ascertained we weren't in. The room reamined uncleaned. When this was mentioned to the owner later in the day and that as we were going out again the room would be free for cleaning if he wanted to go in, he replied by saying 'staff weren't in to do it' - yet he was! As we were only staying for 3 nights, this was an issue I wouldn't have expected, especially for the price and previous reviews.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and spacious for a very reasonable cost. The road at the front of the hotel (which our room overlooked) was very busy, with traffic noise until late at night and from early in the morning - if we stayed there again we would ask for a room at the back (there were none free during our visit)
Peace and quiet, good breakfast
The staff were very friendly and were very attentive although it was a B & b and we were there only overnight we were given their best atttentiona t all times. The breakfast was excellent a B&B that was excellent value.
The friendly staff was very good, also the view from our room to the beach, everything was very good. Congratulation
lovely comfortable superior room , owners very friendly .And a decent freshly cooked breakfast . Owners had good knowledge of area . We had a good relaxing cu pl of days and would return
Arival time starts 1600Hrs
Ideal location, good breakfast and friendly service no problems
The staff was very helpful despite our late arrival and took our suitcases up to the room while we went right back out to find a restaurant before closing time
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The family of Karen and Paul's were always polite and friendly. Breakfast was a must have, and Karen was always very generous with the portions she served.I'm sure if you wanted more then Karen would have been happy to serve you but really any more would have been too much. This was the first time we have stayed in a B & B so we had know I idea what to expect. If we were to book a holiday in Britain again then we would look for accommodation that either did evening meals, entertainment or at least a lounge room for the guests. Please know this is not a bad reflection on The Pebbles but something that we didn't consider prior to booking but we will in future.
Very nice welcome, with bags being carried inside. Lovely breakfast and varied range of food and drinks with polite service. Very clean rooms and bathroom. No information of how and when to pay, which made us feel a little awkward. No offer of help with luggage on departure.
Good breakfast, well maintaned lovely clean room. Friendly people and a fair price. Would definitetly recommend a stay here.
The rooms are well equiped, very comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and pleasant. No

The breakfast was very good with a variety to choose from, staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is on the waterfront with many amemities close to hand.
Nothing was too much trouble ie went the extra mile None
Excellent value for money. None
Great room and excellent breakfast served in a charming manner.
The room was large, comfortable an well-furnished. The breakfasts were very good, as was the service. Very pleasant hosts.
they were friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, overall a nice stay!
The owners were very helpful when our ferry from Jersey was delayed and allowed us to check in late. In the morning breakfast was really tasty served in a cosy breakfast room. The room was compact but very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The homemade shortbread and fresh flowers a really nice touch. If we are that way again we will undoubtably re book.
Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed the break. Booking again later in the year.
The Alendale had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, Denise and Jim were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. It was very close to the beach and a short walk to the shops. The full English breakfast was cooked fresh and served hot.
