Excellent 9.7
Pros: Overall the hotel was very good with excellent service. Good value.
Cons: The shower was a little cramped and stairs would be difficult for older people
Good 6.3
Pros: It was very comfortable and friendly. Convenient to my personal needs visiting relations at the University, and offered 10% discount in a couple of nearby eateries. Easy to find and plenty of shops and bars nearby.
Cons: The breakfast was a self service buffet and more than adequate. However, for the amount of staff that were around during the breakfast service I did feel that they could have been a little more forthcoming.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was first class.
Cons: n/a
Good 6.0
Cons: Bathroom window very high had to climb on basin to open and close. Extractor fan didnt work. Cold water tap labled not drinking. Suggest you remove cold water tank and have just mains water.
Good 6.0
Pros: Near city; warm in room; excellent breakfast; friendly staff
Cons: Bathroom was cold - valve on radiator did not work; Hot water-only warm.
Mediocre 3.3
Cons: The hotel is in need of a refurbishment, and the receptionist was didn't bother to say goodbye upon my departure, merely taking the card out of my hand without saying anything or even looking at me. The heating didn't work in my first room, and the manager refused to give me a refund. There are also signs on the tap water warning that you cannot drink it- so take your own water. Other guests were also very noisy at night time, and I overheard one mention that he was almost arrested the previous night for running naked through Southampton. I would suggest that this hotel is more suited to that demographic.
Okay 5.2
Pros: breakfast was excellent
Cons: our room was on the end of the corridor, it was very cold, we had to ask for a portable heater.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: location, friendly staff and excellent service

Pros: Good car-parking facilities and flexible menu for catering outside normal mealtimes. Reception staff were particularly helpful.
Okay 4.4
Pros: on arrival reception staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: yes, on Sunday morning it took 50 minutes to get a coffee
Good 7.6
Pros: Spar etc was excellent.
Cons: Although there was parking there was a big wedding on so it was a little difficult to find a space. Think people staying at the hotel should have had another area to park to make sure we got a space, not guests only going to the wedding.
Okay 5.2
Pros: nearness to airport
Cons: the food (dinner)not to be recomended.Duvets on the bed.
Mediocre 3.6
Pros: food and room was ok
Cons: staff were rude. didnt get the room i asked for, didnt take my card. very poor all round

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Courtesy is the main stay of this hotel from front desk to the restaurants. My wife’s brother was sick in the hospital and he passed away. It was a difficult time for us and staying at this place was comforting.
Cons: Mone
Okay 5.3
Pros: Friendly staff in bar area
Cons: After ordering pancakes for breakfast, asking 3 different staff members to check for them and waiting 1 hour still not to receive them, total shambles
Good 6.0
Pros: It is well placed, the staff were welcoming and the facilities were good. The rooms were well equipped
Cons: There is a fair amount of noise thruogh the night from the motorways but if you want easy access to the motorways, that is the price you pay. It was unpleasantly noisy but more a good excuse for an insomniac
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very clean, well laid out hotel, near to southampton for our cruise departure. Would stay again with no hesitation. Great breakfast with lots to choose from. Hotel entrance can be tricky to spot on roundabout.
Cons: No issues at all
Good 6.3
Pros: Excellent reception, good food, nice room, nice pool and fitness.
Cons: Materass awful, bathroom not ventilated, WC flushes poorly, WiFi internet cost 15 GBP
Good 7.3
Pros: The location was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful at both the reception and lounge/bar area
Good 7.6
Pros: efficient, clean, comfortable
Cons: very few shopping facilities particularly since it was not near local shops
Good 6.8
Pros: The food, the bar seating and the room.
Cons: The swimming pool was small but made smaller by half being sectioned off for swimming lessons.
Okay 5.5
Pros: Very nice room. Good breakfast.
Cons: Staff not very welcoming. I was charged for a newspaper I did not receive or order. This was however resolved. A couple next to us in the queue had also been cahrged for a paper they ahd not ordered. They ahd had it left by their door. they were asked to return it at the desk when they requested a refund, which I did not think was reasonable. I did not like having to pay to park, when it was the hotel's carpark and not in a particularly busy area.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself.
Cons: $review.cons
Okay 4.8
Pros: The hotel was very comfortable and in a great location. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The waiting staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was lovely.
Cons: The room was quite dark and there was no minibar. The television had a terrible reception and there was no guide as to what channels were what. At breakfast, the glass I was given was dirty, and I did not have a full set of cutlery, I had to request this. The waiting staff were very friendly although the receptionist was verging on rude. There was persistant banging throughout the night which kept me awake. Also, the food in the restaurant was overpriced and not of brilliant quality.
