The staff were very friendly & tried to help whenever asked. I would stay here again when I am in the area.
Clean and newer then most other hotels in the area Over priced
Quiet and clean. Not far from where we needed to go. The pool was nice. The fitness room was a little weak, and I thought the bed was uncomfortable, but other than that I can't complain
The staff was very kind and helpful, our room was very clean and spotless, overall it was a great experience ad I would book it again in the near future. The location of the pool area doesn't offer any privacy to for the guest, anyone walking down the hallway can stop and look inside, and that can be an uncomfortable experience, I would recommend to put up some shutters or either tint the glass. The Food.

HBO The room was not clean. I had to pay $20 for a moldy refrigerator that had rotten milk cartons left in it.
Very clean, modern decor. Good service. Abandoned building next door

Clean, comfortable, nice breakfast Had to mess with the tv to get it to work right
The pool and free breakfast was the high light

Location No refrigerator in the room
You can't expect the Ritz or Hilton, but it was far greater than a stay at other 3 star hotels. There is an indoor pool and it wasn't far from the resort where family was staying. This hotel is very pet friendly! Both my cats were completely safe and accomodated. They even gave us animal hospital info in case of emergency. I would definitely stay again. I always check a room for bed bugs... The room was clean as a whistle. Too crowded at breakfast!
The neighbors were too loud and it smelled like roach poison when you first entered the lobby/check in area.
Very nice staff, clean room, pretty location, nice balcony, room has mini kitchen with big fridge and stove etc Also, they said if you book with them (not through a booking agent) you are able to cancel your reservation for a full refund Old TV, murphy bed was kind of strange, free wifi is only in lobby, road has a lot of pot holes, not many things were open
The water park. Arrived at 12 for early check in. Did not receive my room till 430 with no care or regard. Totally under staffed and the worker told me so. How that's my problem I'm not sure. I paid $500 dollars for a room for 12 hours or less comes with nothing included total robbery. I get back to the room at 2am with my wife wanna use the jacuzzi tub surprise doesn't work GREAT ending to a horrible day. I tell the staff in the morning basically not a care in the world not even a sorry. I wasn't looking for anything back that's not my style. Total disaster last question is check out is 11am why do they need 5 hours to clean a room and I couldn't get late check out. Don't go spend your money somewhere else I bust my butt for mine
My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the cabins and it was very nice. We didn't want to do anything except relax and so the cabin was perfect for us. The resort itself has a lot of activities as well and there is something for everyone to do. There was no wifi in the cabins but I was able to turn my phone into a wifi hotspot so it wasn't a big deal.
The Willowbrook suite is nice but not worth the money. When we tried to check in they didn't have any of my info or room keys. They told me to go to the room & wait for security to open the door. 2 hours later I stood in line again and finally got the rooms keys. Which made me miss my 6pm reservation for valentine's dinner. After that my room keys were deactivated. Had to wait in line again. Upon leaving the roads were bad because they didn't plow or treat the roads. I wound up sliding around a corner and hitting another car. 2nd year in a row they didn't treat the roads and it caused problems. When I tried to get a hold of the manager. She had me wait 2 more hours. All that to find out they won't cover any car damage or compensate me for my stay. I will never go there again. I should of known better from the horrible stay last year.
Outside of resort was beautiful until you stepped inside, out dated, smelly and set up weird Everything inside ,
Spacious suite, comfy bed, moderately clean, continuous hot water, comfy couch, extra linens. Very nice weekend getaway. Thin walls, could hear next door occupants. Adjoining door to suites, can hear every conversation on the other side. Yellow stained ring around the tub.
My husband and son had good things to say about the golf course. Outdoor pool was fine. Rude front desk staff person "greeted" us upon our arrival for 4:00 check in, but our room was not ready until 6:00 pm. No explanation or additional accommodation was offered. Room was worn, but adequate. Toilet didn't work well, 3 towels for a 4 person room and no extra toilet paper. We had to search for housekeeping, who didn't clean our room on our second day. We were happy to check out the following day. We won't be returning. Bottom line, if you get this room very cheap, be prepared to get what you paid for. Don't overpay, it's not worth it.
Very outdated. Carpet on the walls in our room was strange. It seemed like we were the only ones there and it was very eerie. Renovations were being made and many parts of the hotel were closed off.
Split rock grill was good and location to slopes. Our room had lots of damage in it including holes in the door, the tub wouldn't drain, and the water was like warm. The staff was friendly but inexperienced and didn't offer any compensation for our inconveince, including not refunding our $45 resort fee that we had to pay which was in addition to what we already paid online. if I stayed in the area again I'd probably try a different hotel.
The room was nice Worst service we ever experienced. Terrible terrible exoerience!!!!
The lake view The cottage was small, old, outdated, smelled horrible, and disgusting. Front desk was not friendly and unprofessional. Avoid if possible. Stay anywhere else but here. Will never be returning
Convenient to our family, nice nightclub. Rooms clean but a little beat up My sister-in-law booked on line and got a rate 33% lower, used to think I always got the best rate on Kayak, apparently not.
Courtyard, waterfall overlook, fitness facility
Value for price. Other people staying were loud, late at night.
Staff was courteous. The wi-fi worked well, though the desk was a little small. It was comfortable for a reasonable price.
Elevator Extremely noisy air conditioner
It is in a good location right off the highway. The staff were very friendly. There were small repair issues that could be addressed. The door to the room was finicky, and the HVAC unit had the distinct odor of mouse urine coming from it when I turned the fan on. The wifi also didn't work very well in my room. But, for a relatively inexpensive motel, these were not huge issues.
Location No being able to fix a cup of coffee in the morning.
All I could want from a $70 hotel room.
We came from central New Jersey. Your place is tucked away off the highway. When we came in there was one man, Charlie working the desk. He was pleasant, patient and thorough working the check in. I felt bad for him because I was third on line and he was there by himself to assist everyone and answer the phone. The downstairs is just great. We went to the bar for dinner. We got there at 8:45, they still allowed us to use the full menu even though the full kitchen closed at 9. They said we had plenty of time, instead of giving us a hard time. The food was just delicious. We pretty much ordered what was pictured in the elevator. Everything even at that hour was fresh and made to order. Outside there was a bonfire with chairs to sit in. It was also decorated with lots of fancy lights. All of this with the stellar mountain views just added to our feeling of seclusion and comfort. The room was just fantastic. We had so much room to put our stuff, and had choices of where to plug all of our devices in. This hotel totally served its purpose and we will be back for sure. Check in/check out could be quicker/smoother. We weren't there for business or in a time crunch, but if that was the case the time was pretty lengthy. I do not blame the associates at the desk, it would just be nice for things to be a little more streamlined, especially if there is one guy at the counter multitasking.
Very modern accommodations yet relaxed atmosphere. Bar/dinning area while good, was pretty quiet. Perhaps time of year had something to do with it.
I love staying here. Hot tub in the evening before bed, close to Mohegan Sun and a full breakfast included in the morning! They are changing to Holiday Inn Espresso soon.
I had stayed here several times when it was a Best Western. Shuttle was far more accommodating then. Daily free breakfast adequate but nothing to write home about. Other hotels far better. Eggs not always hot. French toast casserole dryed out some days. I chose to stay here again for the indoor pool only to find out it is kept at a very cold 72 degrees because " the owner likes it at that temperature ". Hello!! That alone would make me rethink staying here next time. Landscaping gorgeous and very well maintained. I only wish weather was warmer so I could utilize outdoor area. Burgers in The Bistro excellent.
Appearance of public areas of hotel Buffet breakfast was not good. Eggs were overcooked, bacon greasy and clumped together, sausage ditto, nothing tasted fresh, coffee mediocre, service staff just going through the motions, no one was remotely cheerful. Room layout was not good and furniture uncomfortable. No refrig. in room. Price was twice that of lesser hotels in the area but definitely not worth it.
Hotel check in staff was rude and uninformed. No time for details but expect a long wait even if there is no one in line. For the room price and lack of amenities you are better served staying at a national chain rather than the overpriced , overhyped mohegan sun. Will not return even if the room was free. Customer service skills are non existent as it appears there is no competent managers at the hotel.
The staff, especially Jim at the front desk, was so friendly and helpful. The room and the balconies are very nice and the location is perfect nestled in with all the quaint shops. We went to concert at Penn's Peak and appreciated the short drive back to the Inn. Their parking is limited and we had to find a spot on the street part of our stay.
The hotel is centrally located in that part of Jim Thorpe. Although the building is old it is well maintained and has been modernized. The bed was comfortable. The adjoining restaurant had good food. One problem is the lack of grade level access to the lobby and elevator. Bags have to be hand carried up steps and there is no help. We were told there was grade level access from a narrow alley behind the hotel. The hotel has three small parking lots. We lucked out when we were turning around in one of the full lots and noticed someone else leaving.
The night manager was very accommodating and understanding as we were traveling for a personal funeral. She went out of her way to greet us and provide us with sincere condolences. She was very personable and in the am because we had to leave made efforts to give us a breakfast to go. Thank you.
Easy access to the highway. Loved the fact that it had an equipped kitchen and a spacious suite which is invaluable with a child and two dogs. The staff was so helpful and every one of them was very nice.
The entire staff is friendly and personable. They are very pet friendly, the have a wonderful hotel with lots of ammenities. Minir issues but all were addressed quickly
I was very impressed by this place. I and three friends stayed here for a convention at a nearby resort, and I can honestly say this is one of the most comfortable places I've stayed in. The price is for a suite with a kitchenette and pull-out couch (which we didn't end up using, but as a sofa it was very comfortable). The continental breakfast area in the office had a relatively small selection but did have a waffle maker, which was a pleasant surprise. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and courteous, and provided a swift and easy checkin and checkout. He also seems to be very knowledgeable about the area, as I overheard him telling another guest about some of the local attractions. Overall my friends and I were very impressed and would definitely stay here again. There were a few ants in the breakfast area one morning, but the gentleman at the front desk dealt with them quickly when we brought it to his attention.
Nice rooms restaurant too expensive
Very comfortable room, for the most part staff excellent. Beautiful view of the mountains and Sugarloaf Valley No refrigerator in room, one front desk clerk very disengaged, no smiles or greetings.
I like the location and service. Its hard to find portable gps can not locate the address/not listed.
Staff A bit dated
The front desk staff, Donna and Todd, were exceptional. Friendly, helpful, professional! The restaurant was fantastic and the patio breathtaking! The music was such an added treat! We have told everybody about this Hampton Inn!
This is an excellent place for overnight/travel lodging. Very clean and a friendly staff. The complementary breakfast has a good assortment and everything was fresh and hot. The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent overnight stay. No complaints about the hotel.
very clean breakfast should be free as per the cost of the rooom
The staff was absolutely amazing, great location. The hotel was very well kept and clean. The bed was amazing if I'm ever in the area I will definitely be going back there.
Great staff! Rooms aren't great, but for $75 it's a steal. The bed was uncomfortable bu everything else was very clean Beds were uncomfortable
The room was very comfortable, clean and homey! We came in to cut travelling time to bring my Aunt for heart surgery. From are check in to check out, all your staff were friendly, accomidating and sweet. It made a very stressful time actually relaxing and fun nothing really
Second time we have stayed at this facility Very friendly and helpful staff Nice clean rooms Very comfortable beds No complaints
Owner greeted us at the door. Very friendly staff. Room was clean and water pressure in the shower was good !
Breakfasts were very good, the breakfast room was very attractive, the lobby was very nice, front desk and housekeeping staff were very good, asked for and got a nice quiet room, the beds were very good, and everything looked clean. The room was a nice size except the sink, toilet, and closet were congested. The hotel was safe, but walking in the area at night might not be safe. We had no trouble and I would stay there again.
The hotel was very quiet and clean. The check in staff wasn't very friendly.
Room was very comfortable, having a full size refrigerator is a plus. I also liked the convenience of having small market in house.
Comfortable accommodations and a nice, cozy room. Exercise facility looks ten times bigger than what it is with all the mirrors, but it's still nice to use. All it needs is a pool and it would be the perfect place to go. First keycard revealed a room that had not been clean and was completely gross. No one had attempted to clean that room-it couldn't have been more obvious-so we just sorta brushed that off. We immediately changed cards and were given a nicer room with a view down into the valley that, with the snow on the trees, is really amazing.
This is a good place for the money. I paid $85 for the night. The room I was given had a permanent stench of cigarette smoke. I was not asked by the front desk at check in if I was okay with a smoking room.
The layout and amenities of the room. Nothing.
