Cons: Although I was not happy with their service, I still hope my comments go to the hotel management only, for them to improve their service! Here are my three shocks! First, the upper side of the toilet and its seat were dotted with poop. That was really gross. Five minutes later a cleaning lady came to clean the poop off. Then came the second shock. She SCOOPED WATER OUT OF the BOTTOM of TOILET to clean the dirty parts. At my strong request, she used the faucet water. Thank God! My THIRD shock was that the top of the fridge was covered with dust! I asked the front desk if we could change to a new room. She said yes but the room available was smaller! The room’s sanitary condition, the receptionist’s ability to handle customer problem, and the cleaning lady’s “SOP” for cleaning the toilet really made my eyes wide open! Is there any way for improvement?
Pros: Good for a short stay - we stayed purely for a few hours in order to leave our things and have a shower
Cons: The photos and the room are not a direct representation - they should state that it is a love hotel.
Pros: Private bathroom with bidet toilet. Good water dispenser and refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable. Room was functional.
Cons: Sink was clogged. Very slow drain. Room was quite small versus bed. Think 90%bed 10% other space.
Cons: Breakfast not good because give a coupon 100NT to 110 NT$ to eat outside of hotel. I recommend to tell client for not having it. charge in price

Pros: The location
Cons: Only one plug in on the wall, the room is so old make me really not feel well when I stay , the breakfast is lack of food, anyway is over pricing !
Pros: Easy booking
Cons: Smelled like smoke and felt mislead because the posting and reviews didn't disclose that this was a love motel.
Cons: Too much smokibg smell. The room layout is not quite friendly.
Pros: Nothing... It was the only availeble place to sleep at that moment in Taipei.
Cons: Overpriced, old, dirty, rude staff, overall weird and uncomfortable enviroment to stay in. This is a place that should not be on booking.com. It's main purpose is to facilitate guys and girls that look for a quick and dirty place where they can anonimously "seal the deal".... Next to that the rooms a old and just filthy (blankets that don't have changeable sheets, burn holes of cigarettes everywhere, random black spots on all the walls, curtains that can not even be opened, mold in the bathroom. Etc...) and even the staff is unfriendly! My girlfriend went to the 7-11 and they even had the balls to yell at her from the reception window because they demanded to know in which room she stayed... In short: stay away from this place...
Pros: Bathtub is awesome.
Cons: Bad smell (smoking smell) and quite far if walking to the station... The staffs cannot speak English so it’s quite different to communicate!

Cons: The staff were not too friendly
Pros: Breakfast arrived in a covered tray, and the food was excellent. Better than the usual motel breakfast.

Pros: Great location and friendly staffs.
Cons: None, wish we could stay there more days. It was too short.
Pros: location was good

Cons: Though close to the metro, it is not the nicest spot in Taipei.
Pros: Wi-Fi worked perfectly, good location regards city transportation possibilities, clean room, free umbrella if it rains.
Cons: Despite there was air conditioning regulator in a room it was hard to raise the temperature and in was chilly in the room all the time. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staffs are very helpful and caring. Very clean and tidy.
Pros: The swimming pool is amazing, and the views around the hotel are excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast, it was great value (we had a discount). The hotel upgraded our room, so we had a balcony with lovely views. It was quiet, and the bed was big and comfortable. The hotel provides a golf cart and driver to take guests to the pool area.
Cons: There were a few occasions when the staff didn't know the answers to our questions, and they had to phone someone else for information. I feel that the staff could be better trained to handle customers' questions. They were friendly and happy to help, but often a bit clueless. Also, the poolside food and beverage service wasn't very good. We had to walk a long way to find someone to serve us at the pool. It was inefficient and a bit unprofessional.
Pros: It is beautiful, classy and full of history. But some facilities are too old and need updates. It took a long walk to get to my room. since I had knee joint problem, it was a painful experience.
Pros: Yes, I like breakfast.
Cons: im sure, yes. My family like it.
Pros: Everything I like, the bedroom wonderful, big size and clean, the staff very nice and helpful, the lunch time perfect
Cons: Everything was perfect, just one thing can improve is the free shuttle bus from Jiantan (shiling night market) last one at 22h40 only.
Pros: There's a bus to take you to and from the airport right to the hotel for approximately $3. It's convenient to get to the National Palace Museum, a fabulous museum of Chinese art. The restaurant is OK, but we enjoyed the club restaurant which is on the campus.
Cons: This is a hotel catering to tour groups. We had a small room with nice bath, but it was on the inside so no windows. We used the concierge who went out of her way to help us but the front desk was less helpful.

Cons: App showed checkout was 12 midday only to find out the booking was only for 6 hours
Pros: The staff was very helpful.
Cons: My room was on the third floor. There was street noise almost all night. I didn’t get more than two hours of sleep. The room was described as deluxe but in actuality it was small and cramped.
Pros: Location is walking distance to the main station and is very accessible.
Cons: Breakfast is okay but there was a very limited choice of food.
Pros: Good breakfast
Pros: It was exceptional good value considering it was Taipei. Room was decorated nicely and kept clean by the maids. The staff were very helpful with advice and directions. Location was perfect, walking distance to a number of places. I would not hesitate to book again.
Cons: The air conditioning was noisy. My bathroom was not very private, overlooking another hotel window.
Pros: Staffs are friendly
Cons: The dryer doesn’t work properly
Pros: Excellent location and many elevators.
Cons: The interior of elevators is a little old. The color of wall in the breakfast area is too busy and scary.

Located in Taipei (Ximending), HOTEL PAPA WHALE is within a 15-minute walk of Dihua Street and National Taiwan Museum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: Small room and design ia amazing , cheap and good quality
Cons: no bathtub
Pros: Just nice modern great big tv was really an experience. Great overhead shower.
Pros: The rooms are simple and clean. Staff was nice without being overly nice. My "deluxe" room was rather small. No room to do sit ups. Bed was soft, almost too soft. Shower worked well. The provided soaps were heavily perfumed- some people like that, I didn't. Huge TV, if you're into that sort of thing.
Cons: The entire lobby smelled strongly of some sort of chemical off-gassing, as if they had recently put some varnish on the metal. Also didn't like how the curtain partially covers the sink and you have to hold the curtain with one hand to keep it from getting wet. And, in typical East Asian style, the walls are super thin and you can hear all your neighbor's phone notifications.
Pros: Really cool industrial interior design. Very unique and great location.
Cons: More storage space in the rooms would be nice
Pros: Cleanliness and comfy bed.
Cons: Room soundproof not good enough.

Cons: Very small rooms, no windows.
Pros: Location is superb, right in front of the Taipei Main station, can´t be better.
Cons: The room I stayed had some sound in the night, but the staff agreed to change my room pretty quick, problem was nicely solved.
Pros: Location and price
Cons: toilet because the air ventilation is not good so that the towel is easy to get the smell
Pros: The location is just ideal especially for those who just enter Taipei and need a good rest after a long flight and a mere 30 minutes train ride. Abundance of eateries and shopping malls nearby. Even during Covid-19 outbreak period, the security and assurance of hygiene is superb. Way to go!
A stay at citizenM Taipei North Gate places you in the heart of Taipei, within a 10-minute drive of Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and Lungshan Temple. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out.
Pros: It’s stylish and comfortable. View from high floor is so good. I got the river side view. Excellent!
Cons: Room is a bit small, that’s it.
Pros: the room view, the bar members, the drink and everything in hotel. delightful and wonderful experience.
Pros: I loved the view from my room. They clean the room everyday. The employees are always smiling. The place is clean. The location is very near to the taipei main station. Many shops and restaurants at the back of the hotel.
Pros: I stayed here for the 2nd time and I liked it even more than last year. Location is great, rooms and interior design as well, but what makes the difference are the people working there. During the actual crisis we had some problems with our flights and our next hotel in Kaohsiung. The lovely people at CitizenM were extremely helpful and cheered us up every day. We got some free drinks at the bar and had a wonderful time in Taipei. 11 of 10 stars for the ambassadors!
Pros: I loved the rooms! Very advanced technological room & bath features. Really cool restaurant and hang out area.

Pros: The cleaning staff was coughing and sneezing in our room for the last 2 days when cleaning our room. We informed the front desk, they imediately took action to check on the clesaning staff, sanitize our room twice and offerred to change our room for us. They assured us the cleaning staff is fine too. The hotel constantly santized the area and checked the tempature of all visitors and staff. They also provided sanitizer for all visitors. We felt safe and assured.
Cons: There are flies in the toilet that bite.
Pros: Great location, Large room with twin bed,
Pros: The hotel provided a crib and baby bath tub upon request so we didn’t have to worry about bathing our 2 month old and where he would be sleeping
Pros: The room was fairly spacious and comfortable and the bed was huge.
Cons: The water temperature in the shower sometimes suddenly surged to dangerously hot levels.
Pros: Location was the only thing I liked.
Cons: Looked totally different from the pictures on the website. The air conditoning was terrible. The room was cool but humid and sticky during the entire stay. Horrible.
Pros: connected to main train station and malls, street food outside hotel, comfortable bed
Cons: Cold room, heater not working well
Cons: Bathroom smelled with mold
Pros: Good location to all the MAT station. A lot of restaurants are around.
Cons: Equipment is old. No phone on the desk, but next to the bed. After shower, water is all over the floor - door of the bath tub cannot close. Not enough chairs for people to seat after check out - we ended up to pay $5 per person to have an exclusive room, but was so noisy due to the construction work was on going. They distributed newspaper to certain rooms, not to everyone. No enough light in the room One of the double bed is so close to the wall. Very difficult for the 2nd guest to get off the bed.
Pros: Location is convenient.
Cons: Went out in the morning, returned back to room at 5pm. Once opened room door was shocked that room was still not cleaned up. Called the Reception they said will check with housekeeping but could not provide reason why. A few minutes later some one knock on the door. Housekeeping Supervisor and staff standing outside asking to clean room. We told them to come back at 5.30pm as we need to take a rest. Asked what happened why our room not cleaned. The reply was staff is new and work slower and probably missed out our room. Is this reason acceptable? Anyway, we returned later in the night and the room is done plus a plate of complimentary fresh fruits. The room small window is behind the bed. The top of curtain do not completed covered the window. Hence early morning sunlight came through and quite disturbing.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour business center, and express check-in. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Pros: It's just a little far from the main station exit but its walkable distance. Nearby the 7-11 and more shops around.
Pros: Staff are very approachable.. the room are very clean special the toilet..
Cons: The freebies.. I am looking forward for a coffee, not green tea
Pros: They are very careful dealing with the COVID19 outbreak. Encourage mask use, provide hand sanitizer, checking the guests temperature daily.
Cons: If you stay for more than a few days, the breakfast is good, but boring. Same food every day.
Pros: The location of the hotel was very convenient, about 10 minutes walk from Taipei main station.
Cons: The blanket had wierd circle stains which I informed the front desk after check-in. They assured me the blankets were clean but its still wierd to see in a hotel I assumed they would change it right away but they said they would inform the cleaning staff so I trusted their input. Then the next day, I came back and my room was made but it was still the same blanket. The rest of the room was comfortable and easy to use though.
Pros: The staff was very helpful in providing all kinds of feasible solutions! Thanks a lot to the lady who helped me change to a more comfy room.
Cons: Nothing at all
Pros: Location is superb as it is close to Taipei main station and Ximending. 7 eleven is super closeby too.
Cons: I couldn't get any signal on my phone inside the room and WIFI connection is not stable. The toilet seems to be clogged again even after the housekeeping tried to fix.
Pros: The tidyness of the room specially the toilet
Cons: The tv channel and the freebies (wish there was a coffee next time)
With a stay at The Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei, you'll be centrally located in Taipei, within a 5-minute drive of Daan Forest Park and Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. This hotel has 5 meeting rooms available for events. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: great location, great service
Pros: Great location and the staff was extremely nice and helpful.
Cons: I was on the 8th floor and there was a stale odor in the hallway. The electric toilet didn't work and the shower door leaked water on the bathroom floor. As for their breakfast buffet, while the service was great, the breakfast was disappointingly mediocre at best. They could have easily improved the quality, for example, if you're serving bagels and lockes, please have cream cheese available... and of course some sliced cucumber, tomatoes, and capers will be nice too.
Pros: Good Hotel in a good location in Taipei. Easy to get around for food or coffee.
Cons: All good
Pros: perfect location in downtown Taipei, a lot of good restaurants around here
Cons: facility is old
Pros: great location for proximity to great food, night life and shopping. outstandingly friendly and hospitable staff and management. good value for a high end hotel.
Pros: This is a great hotel. It is located about 10 minutes walk from Daan MRT station. The breakfast is awesome, lots of selections ranging from Chinese, Japanese to Western dishes. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Taipei.
Cons: There is really no much to comment on.
Situated in the heart of Taipei's new and dynamic business district, Grand Hyatt Taipei is conveniently located within the World Trade Centre complex and adjacent to the Taipei 101 Shopping and Financial Tower. The hotel has direct access to the Convention Centre and Exhibition Hall and is a short walk from popular shopping malls and entertainment venues. The hotel is 20 minutes by car from Taipei World Trade Nankang Exhibition Hall.
Pros: Nice decor, the room is on the small side, great sauna & spa. No rowing machine in the gym but nice spread of equipment. Provides free yoga, pilates & other classes but not in very convenient times. Breakfast is outrageously expensive, I've had much better ones with a lot lower prices. Not many eateries in the vicinity, just world trade center. For good food, have to take metro to a couple stops away. It's great value because I'm booking with promotion (3rd night free) now due to coronavirus that halted most travels. Otherwise the regular price is not good for value as there are many fabulous new local brand hotels in town.
Cons: The receipts, it creates problems for business travelers as one of the nights are shown as $0 and they can't amend it.
Pros: 위치. location
Cons: coffee pot and hair dryer's functions are bad.
Pros: Staff is very friendly and proactively asking what they can help. Location is great being next to key shopping area and 2 metro lines. Lots of restaurants and a movie theater nearby also. We found some dust on the desk and night stand. When we told the front desk, they send someone to clean right away.
Pros: Excellent Food Outlets inside the hotel Good location, covered bridge access to Taipei 101 and other attractions slight walk to night market but good exercise for the street food Excellent service and really helpful staff
Pros: The room had a window view to the Taipei 101 fireworks as requested. It was a memorable stay.
Cons: Going down from the upper floors to the ground floor is a serious hassle on NYE. It’s a buzz kill.
A stay at Palais de Chine Hotel places you in the heart of Taipei, within a 15-minute walk of Ningxia Night Market and Dihua Street. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour business center, and express check-in. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location, close to almost anything I want to. Very comfortable bed, room is a little small for the rate we paid. Overall, I’ll stay again for the convenience!
Cons: Lighting is confusing, needed to ask for help!
Pros: Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food.
Cons: Facilities - a swimming pool and a spa would be great additions
Pros: great location, close to MRT and HSR train ,great location, close to MRT and HSR tranin
Cons: AC did not cool properly, could not get room below 72 f / /22.5 C, even leaving it on all day. big disappointment for me, when it is as hot and Humid as Taipei is.
Pros: Customer service were good. All staffs are polite and helpful.
Cons: Pillows were too soft for my personal likings. In general, the lightings in the room were too dark. TV screen resolution were quite bad, remote control not really working.
Pros: Amazing location and ambiance. They had a huge screen and camera system that recorded your temperature as you entered. Sanitizer stations everywhere and even had my temperature checked again at check-in. The views from my room were really cool. Especially from the huge window in the tub. Everything was spotless and beyond what I expected. The staff was kind and made my stay very enjoyable. I can’t wait to return.
Pros: This is a large boutique hotel, so you either love it or hate it. I loved it. It does have a dark look, but the quality of the interior is terrific. The detail in the room, everything from the desk to the venting of the air-conditioning is very well done.
Cons: If you like to walk around, it's a little far from major attractions. The hotel was kind enough to arrange a cab for me anytime I needed it.
Pros: We will come back and recommend to all my friends
Pros: The room was spacious and the bathroom was absolutely nice! I loved the design of the room and we had a comfortable sleep. The hotel is located right in the centre, connected to Y underground path so it was so easy for us to explore the city from the hotel. All the staff who responded my emails before arrival were polite and professional.
Cons: The lobby and the breakfast area are way too dark. We couldn’t see the breakfast on our own plate at the table. Also it is decorated way too much it didn’t make us feel relaxed. Too many mirrors. The staff at the breakfast reception didn’t seem to know what they are doing.
Pros: Staff service from the front desk, dinning, cleaning and customer service all great, nice staff, thumbs up My room with a balcony, make it brighter and flesh air in the room. Filled up all the stationary, mini bar, bathroom supplies, coffee and tea bags, clean up my place twice a day, print out my boarding passes and small gift at the check out time. Good breakfast, nice lunch and dinner. The best part is the dessert sections, match the French standard. I am lucky travel to France for the past 15 years, dessert is the part me and wife enjoy a lot (beside shopping $$). So far, dessert is the best I ever had in Taipei. Location is also the reason why I picked this hotel again, next to the main train station and subway stations, you can go anywhere by using public transit systems by bus, subway and trains. The shopping mall service a lot of tourist request, even have an foreign exchange center there, rate is better than the airport plus it work till the end of the shopping mall hour. Across the street will be local Taiwanese food, all the thing famous in Taiwan like 95% food choices are there, price is good deal.
Cons: The interior decoration is a little bit dark, also the bathroom layout is hard for elderly person to step in the tall bath tub plus is kind of open concept (may be romantic for someone), not my personal comfort zone. As a whole, the whole hotel design is on the dark side. My personal preference is bright, too bad could not do much about it.
Pros: The location is superb. The hotel staffs are friendly, good space in the room and most importantly the room is sound proof which is excellent. The restaurants are superb.
Pros: The location is great as it is just opposite the Taipei Main Train & Bus Stations. Next to the Hotel there is one shopping mall where you can find alot of things you can get. Excellent place.
Cons: The room is too dark and the toilets are very transparent.
REGENT TAIPEI Offering among the most spacious and luxurious hotel accommodation in Taipei, alongside a dazzling array of signature dining and lifestyle amenities, Regent Taipei combines some of the best experiences of this modern metropolis with timeless hospitality traditions.
Pros: price was good for decent hotel
Cons: There are other hotels that pay more attention to detail in terms of service, cleanliness, etc, but more pricier. This is a good hotel for the price.
Pros: Great Hotel, with lovely and attentive staff! Thank you all for making our special occasion really special and separate thanks to Adilia for all the attention and care! Definitely we will come back!
Cons: breakfast for kids charge as the same price as adult. All dining restaurants has no privileges for in house guests
Pros: I felt that this hotel was very clean and paid attention to detail concerning Viruses that are going around. They used a thermometer as we checked in. Although there wasn’t early checkin the hotel held our luggage until we could get into our room. The staff frequently cleaned the public areas. When we had issues with the room, the staff was prompt to fix the issue and take care of our concerns. The staff helped to book taxi’s and make reservations for dinner/ lunch. They had a candy cart for children and although we did not utilize the other activities or events there was a lot for children to do at the hotel. FYI you need a 2 day notice for childcare which would be nice to have listed on the website. With our upgraded room, we had the breakfast buffet. It consisted of Asian and WESTERN cuisine. There was an omelet counter , fruit and salad bar, and a baked goods counter that was more of an American style breakfast.
Pros: Location & shops
Cons: Stairs going to basement. Low corridor ceilings. Bed was too high. Too noisy in the lobby / podium area - more like a shopping centre than a 5 star hotel.
