This was my fourth time visiting this city, and I have finally found the perfect hotel to stay at! The location is excellent: close to the center but on a quiet side-street. The staff were outstanding! They spoke English very well and helped me with all my issues (needing a breakfast outside of usual buffet hours, getting taxis when the taxi apps I usually use were giving me problems, making arrangements for a later train when I missed my train). The room and entire hotel are attractive, with art throughout by local artists featuring local scenes and history. This hotel has character and is very comfortable.
I spent more than I usually spend on a hotel, but it was definitely worth the price for the amazing staff, amenities, comfort, convenience.
The room and the bed were clean, comfortable and quiet. The curtains were just thick enough to keep out the early morning light. One receptionist was very helpful, However, the other who worked in the evening wasn't and was even unhelpful. She clearly needs more training. The shower was clean, powerful and hot enough. There's a bath if you want one.
Some of the carpets on the common areas need cleaning. One receptionist was quite unhelpful. Breakfast was ok, nut not great...
The Breakfast Staff were great. At least that was good.
The A/C was not working and we had to open our windows every night so we heard the traffic and barking dogs outside. We were told that the A/C was fixed already so they could not do anything. The Front Desk told us as we checked in that we could not "stain" the sheets because they only change the bedding every 4 days and that we needed to be careful. Ouch! Our room was never vacuumed at all for a week. I don't think they are ready for tourism business. The staff still need training in hotel management.
The location is good, O'Hara Pub behind the corner. Nice personel, but in restaurant only Russian language.
The Breakfast was poor. Worse that in one star hotels in Germany.
Rather clean and comfortable, friendly staff at the reception desk! Location very close to start/finish of Zaporizhstal Half Marathon.
The restaurant could have been much better !!! The guys there use Hello and thank you but overall it is a Soviet restaurant !
