10.0 Excellent
Pros: First class resort, the room was very well appointed with the attention to detail unsurpassed. We left a loaf of bread on the counter and after the maids had been to our room there was a toaster left on the counter, there was no toaster before, we looked for one, we didn't ask for one either. The golf course was as great as the rest of the property, greens were running 11.7 on the Stimpmeter and the views are awesome.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For the price, absolutely cannot be beat. I've stayed at 5-star hotels that have nothing on this. From the arrival, the staff was friendly and helpful, but it only got better. Private garage kept the car out of the heat. The casitas are beautiful and modern and complete. You couldn't stay closer to Tuacahn, our destination. Open the doors to the fairway and the pond and the ducks and .... The ambience was great.
Cons: The last night, we had noisy neighbors. It was surprising, after days of seclusion and privacy, to think we really were right next to someone else.

9.1 Excellent
Pros: Clean, good breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: room recently remodeled. Looked great. Love the extra tile in the living space, much easier to clean. breakfast staff was really nice, filling drinks for you, asking you if they could get you things. don't even get that when i go to a restaurant half the time. Price was great.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location only.
Cons: Honestly, this was the very worst hotel room we have ever stayed in. We are not a handicapped couple, but were put in a handicap room. The ceiling was way too low, the room was very old, and there was no room in the bathroom to put toiletries, etc. It appears there was more effort put into the exterior of the hotel, than to update the room. We would not stay at this hotel again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very clean and newly updated. The breakfast was great with an omelette bar. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was electric car plug ins. Nice pool and hot tub.

Chalet Motel - Saint George - Building

9.1 Excellent (1,094 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Chalet Motel in St. George, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of St. George Utah Temple and St. George Musical Theater. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was easy to find and check in was a breeze. I appreciated that the woman at the desk checked me in while the couple in front of me tried to figure out their travel plans and needs. The room was clearly recently renovated and very comfortable. My travel companion is usually the first up and the bed was so comfortable she had to be coaxed out of bed!
Cons: The only thing missing was a hook or two for toiletry bags or towels somewhere in the vicinity of the bathroom/vanity area.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Hard to find anything good to say, but maybe the price is reasonable.
Cons: 1. Room is dirty, had weird smell, and saw at least one bug. 2. Parking spaces are tiny 3. Access is from one side of the street, meaning you have to cut the block to get in from the main areas. 4. Sink had no stopper. 5. Room had no coffee pot 6. Room had a stove, but no dishes or utensils 7. Furniture is pathetic. 8. Bed sucks 9. WIFI is non-existent
7.7 Good
Pros: Great location right downtown, super nice staff, large rooms with kitchenette and couch. Pretty good deal for the price.
Cons: The room smelled of cleaning products, I think the cleaning staff went a little overboard with pine sol. I guess it's good that they cleaned the rooms. We had a baby crawling on the floor and she picked up a lot of gross black dirt from the floor, so they weren't doing a great job of cleaning the carpet. There was a fold-out bed in the couch, but a dresser was located in front of this couch so you couldn't actually pull it out. What's the point if you can't actually use it? IT also didn't have sheets or look like it had been cleaned (ever), so I got the impression that they didn't expect anyone to actually use the fold-out bed. It would have been nice to be able to use it if we could have. Also the TV was very small and oriented in a weird location relative to the bed.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The way the room was set up was cozy and both beds had a privacy feel. Bathroom area was clean and elegant. Carpets were new and clean.
Cons: Beds were kind of hard.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was comfortable. Super comfy beds and linens
Cons: There was a microwave and fridge as we expected in the kitchenette. But there were no dishes or silverware. We ended up needing to buy a Pyrex measuring cup so we could make our coffee (pour over) and oatmeal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A groups of us spent 3 days in St George. We were all very impressed with the clean and modern rooms. The staff was very professional and polite. The price is also great. Highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We actually like everything at this place, the ubication, very clean, we have everything we need. Refrigerator, microway, table,. But the most we like is the you feel like home. We really enjoy it! I defenelly recomend this Chalet place!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, reasonable, & will definitely come again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, kitchenette, basic amenities, friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the full kitchen in the room. Saves money on going out (not much in St george anyway). You have to bring your own kitchenware though. It's also just a 5 minute drive to some pretty good bouldering too.

9.1 Excellent
Pros: Above average continental breakfast for a two star motel. I eat very healthy so I was glad to find healthy options like fresh cut fruit, oatmeal and yogurt. It's right off the highway near a pretty red rock formation. The lobby is well appointed. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: While conveniently located off the highway, it's not that close to Zion, if that's your destination. It's not walkable to anything of interest. My husband said the waffles were nothing special.

Pros: Really nice accommodations, friendly staff, restaurant is a burger joint that serves a top notch burger. However bummed there isn't food option for lunch on Sunday. Pool was nice. Biggest complaint are the pillows. They were horrible and I had a hard time sleeping. Other than that highly recommend.
Cons: Bad pillows made it hard to sleep. Restaurant wasn't open in the afternoon on weekends. Big bummer because we really wanted a burger. They are super good.

Pros: Enjoyed the room, the beds, the breakfast. Traveling from San Diego and this hotel was a delightful surprise. Front desk recommended George's restaurant down the street and we had a nice late dinner. We would definitely stay there again.

Pros: proximity to nat'l parks
Cons: room was warm and stuffy a/c was very loud and only worked on high
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are clean, quiet, and in very good taste with their up to date décor. I also like the size of the flat screen tv, as well as having both a fridge and a microwave. The beds are also comfortable and there is always a good supply of clean towels. For the money, it is my favorite place to stay when visiting St George on business. The hotel is also in a good central location for my business purposes.

Pros: Overall, the facilities were very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay a lot. I really have to commend the staff for their friendliness, helpfullness and professionalism. Pretty much everyone we interacted with was teriffic.
Cons: I absolutely hated the toilets in the units. We had a two bed/bath unit and both toilets were spacesavers and are very difficult to use.

7.4 Good
Pros: East access, clean room. Breakfast only so-so.
Cons: Clerk at desk not very familiar with things to see in St. George.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. No freeway noise but within striking distance to freeway. Food and activities also nearby without much driving. Near grocery stores as well. We did not have the occasion to go to the pool or workout room. However, did have a view of the inner courtyard where the pool was. Families looked to be enjoying themselves immensely. Personally, I don't tend to spend much time at hotels. It serves as a place to sleep and perhaps rest for brief periods between activities. This works well for that.
Cons: definitely no soundproofing at the door: could hear people in the hall easily. Could hear some pool activity but heavy drapes damped that quite well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff and relaxed atmosphere. Would visit again. Good breakfast too!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The pool area was nice, water was heated and fun to play in even in February. Room was decent but beds were a little hard. Pillows were comfortable.
Cons: Could've been cleaner. The steps leading upstairs were very dirty and gross. Rooms were just okay cleanliness.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The heated outdoor pool is great, much larger than others in the area, with a nice hot tub and outdoor restrooms. Staff is very friendly. Wi-Fi has good speeds. Breakfast was also good. Rooms were clean. This is our favorite family-friendly hotel in St. George.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great one night stay here. I was impressed by how friendly all the staff members were and how clean and neat the rooms were too. Great breakfast too. We'll be back!
9.7 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast was plentiful, but not that good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We love the cleanliness of this place and the included breakfast has been a nice inclusion.
Cons: This year the pool (which is normally heated) was freezing cold and not at all pleasant to swim in. Because this is the main reason we choose to stay at this property this fact made this stay less than desirable. Additionally, the breakfast seems to have lost priority as it hasn’t been good the last 2 years.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love how clean everything is and how much my kids and I love to come here. I hear that they have been changes coming and I hope it doesn't ruin it and make it be something that is not for families to come to.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Love their pool. Gorgeous palm trees, comfy deck chairs. Warm water.
Cons: Breakfast was meh. A little bland and dried out.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Nice motel, clean and a good value. I arrived 45 minutes early and could not check in. It seels like 45 minutes they could have let me check in
6.8 Good
Pros: This hotel had the best breakfasts out of every hotel we stayed at in our two week tour of the southwest. By far.
Cons: We were in a pet room ( we traveled with our dog) and noticed some pet odor in the room.

Microwave & coffee, pool ,guiet. Most of all the breakfast was the best of all the places we stayed. I will look for clarion suites to stay at from now on on my trips. Thank you
Cons: Just for feedback - We have a( gluten free member in our family that has stomach issues. Can't have a lot of foods due to seasonings, wheat, flour, etc, etc limited on type of food can eat. Types of acceptable foods boiled eggs, bananas, corn tortias, cheerios, ketchup without high frutoses to put on potatoes. : ) thank you a nice stay.
5.4 Okay
Pros: It was quite.
Cons: Having a maid that doesn't speak English. So when returning to the room, clean towels and coffee were both sitting on the desk top. Nothing was cleaned, dirty towels on the floor and beds not made. Had to go down to the front desk to let them know.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The rooms clean. I thought the price was reasonable considering a room at a Jacuzzi tub in it. The front desk staff was quick, efficient and friendly. Housekeeping even ran after me to let me know I had forgot my iPad in the room!
Cons: The pool closed @ 10:00. We got in late. Not their fault, but a swim would have been nice. I'll have to make sure we get there earlier next time!
6.2 Good
Pros: We forgot two hats and they were nice and held them for us till we came back two days later.
Cons: The room was dirty there was sand and skittles in a corner and a wet used washcloth in the bathroom, a coffee stain in the side table i was disappointed.

9.4 Excellent
Pros: Loved the clean, spacious rooms.
5.1 Okay
Pros: The appearance was nice and located right off the freeway. Close to the convention center if that is your purpose.
Cons: The room had cobwebs in the corners. The beds had this adjustable setting to soften the beds which didn't seem to work; so it was like sleeping on a rock. They also don't honor Hilton Rewards if booked via third and inquired about this policy went unanswered to the general manager.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: staff was friendly, hotel and room were clean. Pool was heated.
Cons: no refreshments in the lobby
9.4 Excellent
Pros: They took such good care of me, the first room had an issue that the handyman hadn't finished yet so they upgraded my room to one on the top floor. That night the people staying in the room adjacent to mine had an issue with the volume of my TV. SO the next morning when I was getting a delicious breakfast the front deskman asked how I was doing. I explained the noise situation and he found me a room and then offered to help move my luggage. Seriously top notch service, I would highly recommend this Beautiful hotel to anyone looking to live the high life.
Cons: My only complaint is that I couldn't spend more time. I was treated like royalty.
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff was ultra friendly and helpful Shower was good
Cons: My room was dirty in two ways: 1) There were bread crumbs on the bed sheets, which makes me think the bed sheets were not changed at all 2) There was brown residue in the toilet when I first opened it up to use it
7.4 Good
Pros: The staff was excellent, but the room could of been better cleaned
Cons: The corners of the Floors were filthy
