Pros: Lovely clean spacious room with comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. Also lovely friendly hosts. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything. This place is outstanding if I could give a gold star I would. The whole family were the most beautiful people and made us so welcome. Connor is an amazing cook - every morning breakfast was restaurant quality. We stayed in a bed and breakfast in Dublin run by experienced hoteliers and we were so impressed with them that we thought it cant get any better, but Cloghan house and this beautiful family exceeded in doing just that. We cant recommend this bed and breakfast accommodation highly enough, it was like staying in a 5 star hotel. The bedroom was to die for and the bed the most comfortable we have slept in on this amazing Ireland holiday.
Cons: We loved everything
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Could use face cloths in bath room. Other than that I love the place and the folks!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: I've lived in Ireland for many years (1970-1980), and I'm familiar with Listowel. I wanted a B&B in the heart of town, and your location is excellent. I had no trouble parking right in front of the premises. The room on the third floor was basic, yet just right for my needs for the one night. Pierce was very easy to deal with. However, the real treat was the breakfast served in the morning. I had a few questions to ask of the two women on hand that morning, and they were very helpful and entertaining. I would be pleased to return to John R's B&B the next time I visit Ireland.
Cons: Nothing stands out.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luxurious, bright rooms with big skylights, wonderful showers and lots of little extras. “Relax” room with king size bed is very spacious with lots of storage space, shelves in bathroom & 2 reading chairs. Windows on both sides of room allow cross-breeze. Excellent fan as well. Makeup & full-length mirrors. Lovely tea station (with water too) and couch in the hallway shared by the 3 rooms. Great central location with many attractions & pubs within walking distance. Short drive to the must-see unique Lartigue Monorailway. Breakfast served in bakery below was scrumptious and plentiful including mouth-watering scones. The very attentive and friendly staff even packed a couple extra for the road.
Cons: Found lock to outer door tricky so I would not want to stay her alone as needed my brother to let me in. Wifi spotty in “Relax” though fine in “Sleep” room. Highly recommended as long as you are able and willing to walk up lots of stairs.

4.4 Okay
Pros: OK
Cons: I was working in Listowel for a few days so I was gone all day. I was back between and 11pm and 12.30 every night and the car parking area was pitch black, only sensor light at the door. I had to turn on the light on my phone to get to the house, was not happy about this. I mentioned this to the lady in charge. I stayed in a twin room the first 2 nights, very poor electric shower, if I was a larger person I would have to reverse into the ensuite it was so small. Room for the second 2 nights was a double and it was good but sink was in the room and not in the ensuite. Hosts not very friendly, would not stay there again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We felt like home it was cozy and comfortable .. spacious and clean rooms. The host was amazing .. he made sure we weren’t missing anything. Lovely breakfast and cute welcoming host (the dog).

5.0 Okay
Cons: Very cold, the heating was turned on after 10pm
2.7 Mediocre
Pros: There was good signage from the main road to the B&B.
Cons: We have not stayed in many B&B's in Europe, but this place was not worth the 60 Euros we paid. I will admit we didn't spend much time there, as we arrived at 22:00 and left around 08:00. But nothing we experienced made us want to stick around. It is between 2 tiny, very quiet villages (about 10 min drive to either). House and landscape is plain, has barely an ocean view. The bedroom was plain with cheap furniture, uncomfortable mattress and squeaky bed, tiny shower, towels that looked like my old beach towels, foam mats on the bathroom floor, overall cleanliness was fair. We did not pay or stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that. Owners wanted payment in cash.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Staff very accommodating when our original room had no heat on, moved us to another room very quickly.

Pros: Good restaurant which was popular with the locals. The place was packed on a rainy end of September night and our dinners were excellent. Same for breakfast whether it was scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or an Irish breakfast.
Cons: One of the lights in the en suite bathroom was burnt out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a great place to spend a rainy afternoon, the staff were wonderful. Room comfortable. We came in wet from being on our motorbikes, and managed to get everything dry. Bed comfortable.
6.7 Good
Pros: Bar staff were friendly & professional. There was a good choice of bar food but it was quite expensive; ironically the 'Specials' seemed to be particularly so. The bedroom was very clean, as was the bathroom therein. Free car parking at the rear of the hotel. Google Maps does not give good directions to the hotel; you keep.being told to "turn on to The Grove" but there's no way of telling where this is; there's certainly no sign to that effect!
Cons: Leen's is a pub with rooms to let; it's NOT a hotel. €70 B&B in September IS expensive. There was no hot water for a shower in the morning. This issue was badly handled by the proprietor. The end result was that I had no shower & no breakfast. I refused to stay there the second night. They still charged me €60 for a bed only & for the bar food I'd had the night before - bad business practice I thought!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, ambience, staff, parking

4.6 Okay
Pros: the Pub was central in town
Cons: The place was old and unloved and dirty black hair in the bathroom. Floors grubby and stained. No breakfast, why advertise as a bed and breakfast when there is no breakfast. There was a kitchen but no cooker. Way overpriced for the facility. The most expensive place we have stayed and the grubbiest. Totally not worth the money you must pay in cash. If you are not carrying cash you are directed to the bank.
