5.0 Okay
Pros: Clean rooms Convenient location
Cons: Service: the fire alarm woke us up at 8:00am and was activated three times in one day. The staff barely apologised blaming the system that was too sensitive to hot showers / people smoking in the room (?). This was not only annoying but also of concern for safety: people were staying in their rooms when the alarm rang for the second and third time, what if there was a real fire?
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little family run hotel with helpful staff and a good breakfast. Right in the centre of Aix Les Bains.
Cons: Room was a bit noisy at night because of being right over all the bars and restaurants but didn't go on too late.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: v comfy bed, spotless bathroon , great location, good simple breakfast - plentiful amounts of a limited range, nice breads croissant fruit yogurt cheese etc. very helpful staff. free local bus tickets provided
Cons: nothing - others may find lack of lift a problem or in summer central location might be a bit noisy early evening with windows open but town is not a party town so really not a problem
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff, warm welcome. Good sized room, comfortable bed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: location is fantastic, rooms are large, bed very comfortable, staff very friendly and bathroom large
Cons: Everything was fine. The only improvements to get it to Excellent would be the breakfast, tea/coffee in the room and more bathroom toiletries
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Central location backing on to lovely square. Newly renovated room and bathroom. Good eating choices in pedestrian-only street at front door. Public parking nearby.
Cons: It'd be nice if there was a lift, but the staff helped carry our bags and overall it was good value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really cool for a 2 star hotel and the Wifi connection was excellent even in the room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great. It was a treat having a small sitting room as well as bedroom. The public parking is right by the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. We would stay here again.
Cons: It did not look like the photos. The furnishings in the room were very old and the building itself is well worn. It didn't detract from our stay but it wasn't particularly luxurious either.
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is beautiful ,the staff were very friendly and would stay again if room was to the rear of the hotel
Cons: Breakfast was limited in choice . Rooms to front are above bars and restaurants so was very loud on a Saturday evening till late. Perhaps not suitable for elderly as there is no lift and different levels to this hotel
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close proximity to the town
Cons: Parking
Le Cassiopee - Aix-les-Bains

9.4 Excellent (49 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners welcomed us, were extremely accommodating and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms we clean, modern and bright with a beautiful over the lake. The pool in front of the house was the highlight on a hot summer day. Just gorgeous. The breakfast was extraordinary with fresh croissants and breads. We had a beautiful stay.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, the whole house and pool area extremely clean I'd say, the kitchen can be used by all, our room (quite large) had a 'terrasse' and the jacuzzi is a top one (but along with the sauna... in the garage). The gentleman in charge is easy to talk to and knows a lot about his 'region', the lake. For breakfast, one can have a small glass of squeezed orange, various cheese, eggs, ham, pastry (on our second day though the croissants/pains au chocolat were from the previous day
Cons: A bit shocked on arrival. We had agreed a few weeks before on a certain room with a bath and not a disabled access to then be told other guests wanted that one. Very surprising not to be given any soaps or shampoos considering the price. We were looking forward to the complimentary drink, were given the choice between beer and various juice whereas the lucky person who entered the room 5 mins later was offered vodka, whisky... and shown the content of the bar. I was not impressed! 1st night woken up at 4am by somebody who was pulling the rolling blinds up and again 30 mins later. 2nd night at 7am by the noise in the kitchen as room right next to it.
6.3 Good
Pros: Excellent Breakfast and friendly hosts. Nice common pool for guests in a lovely quiet location above the lake
Cons: We felt mislead and disappointed as the many room facilities listed in great detail turned out a mistake and only available in the owners area for all guests. We had booked several days but as it was high season, could not move. We had to use the owner's kitchen for eating preparation and a shared refrigerator (from which our drinks disappeared) . The rooms are pretty basic and we were moved for one night into the disabled room in which the toilet is separated by a thin wicker screen. Zero privacy. It should be seen as a modest bed and breakfast with shared facilitates and little privacy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very frienly. Very quiet location. Nice garden with swimming pool.
Cons: No restaurant nearby.

7.1 Good
Pros: The bed is very comfortable, interior is very new and clean. Toilet is separated from the shower and wash basin space which is a plus.
Cons: The property or the whole town caters to mostly french travelers, and therefore most people don’t speak English. There’s not too much information or review in English on this hotel prior. And I didn’t know it’s a self-service smart hotel, converted from a historic building. And as global weather becomes hotter, travelers may want to check if the hotel is air conditioned. This one isn’t and we are not use to the heat, didn’t pay attention to this aspect as it’s only June! The space is smaller than expected from looking at the pictures online.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in the heart of the village
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely modern apartment, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen
6.7 Good
Pros: Great staff. Very helpful.
Cons: Noisy with window open and too hot and stuffy with window closed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little flat with gorgeous outlook over the square. Comfy beds and well appointed.
Cons: The slow automatic lighting in the stairwell, impossible to climb stairs after being outside as it was completely dark until you reach the landing. Outside door code not working.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. Having access to a washer and dryer was a plus. The location was great, with easy walking to restaurants and shopping. I liked that we had an access code to get into the building and our room. Paid parking was close by.
Cons: I didn’t realize it was so hotel-like, basically just one room and no cooking facilities, which I thought it had when I booked. The door to the building was difficult to open, you have to push really hard and not turn any handles. We watched another couple struggle to get in, so it seems to be an issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean, comfortable and beautiful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Privacy and location

Pros: Good location. New owners were very helpful.
Cons: Dinner had to be taken away from the Hotel but there were options

Pros: The breakfast was simple but we had all we need there and everything very tasty. Personal really friendly. Close to many restaurants and their own parking.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We liked that the hotel was well situated and close to the port and restaurants.
Cons: We felt it was a little overpriced. One bedside light didn’t work, shower in the bath was adequate.
7.1 Good

Cons: We thought it was a good stay.
9.2 Excellent

Annapolis - Aix-les-Bains - Building
5
8.7 Excellent (374 reviews)

Located in the city centre of Aix les Bains, the hotel Annapolis is a few metres from the train station, in a neighbourhood with many shops and restaurants. The hotel Annapolis features well equipped 18 rooms which can accommodate 1 to 4 people. The breakfast is served in the restaurant.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A small wonderful and very welcoming hotel. The building is old but the room was sparkly clean. However, no air conditioner in august was a little bit hard.
Cons: Having no air conditioner
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner of this hotel couldn’t do enough for us he was lovely. The hotel itself is really quaint and in a quiet location but quite a treck to the lake. We borrowed bikes from the owner luckily so it only took 20 minutes for us to get there!
Cons: Location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is run by a lovely couple, really helpful and friendly. They gave us bus passes and clear instructions how to get down to the lake, and also recommended a visit up mount revard which was fab. It’s situated within walking distance of the station and loads of shops and restaurants. They’ve got a cute dog too which my kids loved
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and extremely helpful staff!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved the history of this place. The host was very welcoming, and was able to speak to us in English very well! He gave great recommendations for restaurants and activities with our children.
Cons: It was a bit warm up on the 3rd floor the night we stayed, but no one can change the weather, so we made the best of it.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner was kind and helpful. 00

Overview Reviews

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Romantic villa with a lot of old details, very nice classic breakfast, refreshing pool with good sunbeds
Cons: No drinks available or fridge in the room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really nice b&b, cosy room, spacious, breakfast was cute either sitting outside with a view or inside, onsite carparking, hopeless Internet dropped out all the time and very slow, very nice garden sitting area. Very sweet and nice host only speaks French but it was not a problem. A bit tricky to walk down into town. Can highly recommend it.
Cons: Only the Internet. Very slow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of the host, the quality of the breakfast and the decoration of the room
Cons: Parking isn't really easy, especially if you have a SUV or rather large car
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Host was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was elegantly presented.
Cons: Earliest check-in time available was 6 pm. Bath and shower facilities were quite attractive, but inadequate in size for comfortable use by a larger person.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous location. Welcoming host. Very homely. Easy to come and go with independent access to the room. Lovely breakfast on the terrace. All done beautifully but without fuss. Very good secure parking.
Cons: All good
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice house, parking in the garden, good breakfast, nice pool and view.
Cons: We had a room under roof and A/C was out of order so it was quite hot there. Wi-fi was also out of order. Host doesn't speak english. Location is quite far from city center and up to hill so it is not comfortable walk. P.S. We like provence style but our room was maybe too modern with a lot of fur and shiny decoration. But there are nicer rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, good location, fabulous views. Lovely well appointed room.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast had a good variety
Cons: There was no way to get into the property had to rely on other guests to open the gate, no remote for the cooling system had to have Windows open and the mosquitos we're horrendous. No shower we had to sit in the bath and try and wash with a hand held shower head, not acceptable. Wifi did not work at all for the whole stay and the tv did not pick up any channels. Bed sheets balled and threadbare.
Les Suites du Lac - Aix-les-Bains - Building

With a stay at Les suites du lac in Aix-les-Bains, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Lake Bourget and Plage de Mémard. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you are in the area, this is a must stay place. Lovely, polite and very caring staff. Our room was modern, spacious and had an awesome view over the lake. They have very beautiful pool area offering view of lake as well.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is on a busy road but once you manage to park your car and check in, you find a peaceful hotel with a lovely St Tropez like garden and pool. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Great views on the lake and very close to the harbour where there are many restaurants and from which the tour boats leave.
Cons: Diner menu was limited and when we were there, the pool looked a bit too green for my liking.
6.7 Good
Pros: When we arrived at the property, a little early, we were understandably told that our room was not ready. We were told we could sit out on the sun loungers and use the pool. However, the first thing we were greeted by was a pile of dog poo on the AstroTurf around the pool. If that wasn’t enough to put you off, the pool was murky with a robotic pool cleaner wending it’s was around the edges, not really something we wanted to share the pool with. We were so put off by our initial impression of the place that we sat looking on our phones for somewhere else to stay. Eventually our room was ready so we left the poolside. We didn’t return there for the rest of our stay! Our room was lovely and it had a large outside seating area, which was where we spent our time whilst at the hotel. At breakfast and dinner the owner’s three little dogs had free reign of the kitchen and dining room, bothering people at their tables. One morning while eating breakfast one of the dogs squatted and poo’d outside the dining room window! Revolting. At one point one of them jumped up at me and put its paws on my lap while I was eating dinner. I do not think a hotel dining room is the place for dogs. All that said, I must say the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Mainly the DOGS. It is difficult to park on sloping drive from busy main road, plus not many parking spaces. Quite a way to walk to the Lac.
4.2 Okay
Pros: We loved the delicious breakfast which was outstanding.Fresh eggs from the hotels hens ,beautifully presented fruits and good coffee..abeit from a vending machine. The staff serving breakfast could not have been more courteous and prepared for me on my final morning fluffy scrambled eggs when I noticed there were no boiled ones presented.Cheeses were soft, creamy and delicious too as were the fresh croissants and cakes. A most fantastic spread.
Cons: Limited parking ,steep access to reception which made it tricky to carry our luggage .Room was fair and large..but not particularly clean. I asked for housekeeping to wipe the outside table as it was littered with the previous residents crumbs.Floor look grubby in the bedroom also. But bathroom was spacious and well appointed. Now dinner on our first night was very good.Melon and fresh Parma ham followed by rigatoni all well cooked and presented. So we decided to eat in the hotel on our second night. What a difference..drinks in the bar accompanied by a workman drilling the open door within a metre of our seats! Then our order was taken. Same starter-perfect. I then ordered the Rigotoni again but pasta with pesto arrived?? My husband’s dinner was cold before my correct order arrived. The staff did credit us with my main course to be fair. Ice cream was ordered for dessert-vanilla for us both. But husband had 2 scoops of lemon sorbet delivered but I did have my scoop of vanilla! Two small dogs were ever present and were seen to defaecate outside on the terrace as we previously noted by other guests this is just not pleasant to witness. Overall apart from the wonderful breakfast and helpful staff I cannot say I would recommend this hotel. Many steps(no handrails) and noise from the railway made it an okay stopover but will not be rushing back.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We stayed one night at les suites de lac with a family. We had a 2 room apartment. The rooms were clean , stylish and beds were comfortable .Good value for money
Cons: The only downside this apartment was without view on a lake.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views. Beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. It was lovely to sit beside the pool and have a drink.
Cons: Very little we didn’t like.
7.9 Good
Pros: The views were stunning, although that is what you hope for when you pay extra for it. The breakfast was nice with a good selection. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Car park was a bit awkward. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as expected especially at that sort of hotel with a suite.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Wonderful Estate, high quality Pool and Sun beds. Beautiful Mountains and lake view.
Cons: We came in midnight, nobody in House, but it was agreed before, we have found out room. In beds we found dogs stains and hairs. We couldn't use balcony , because automatic blinds were closed by some mistake- two evenings we were separated from our balcony- it helps, if You want stop smoking during holidays. Last Pearl is small lift, which works, but is blocked. In night with luggage in hands believe me, steps are high and stairs are long. But it's written on website, so it's not main minus. You can see photos of dogs stains, hairs and blinds.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location!
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicely appointed
Cons: A lot of stairs

This hotel features 646 square feet (60 square meters) of event facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The free use of the spa facilities and the breakfast was fantastic.
6.3 Good
Pros: the location is great, nothing to do with the hotel. The spa, etc.., nice although very cramped around the jacuzzis.
Cons: the location is great, nothing to do with the hotel. I cannot believe it is a 4 stars hotel. the bar is horrible. not a cosy place to be, We usually go to the Mercure, we wanted to try this lovely location, that ticked the box but next time we will go back to Mercure.
6.7 Good
Pros: The view - if we didnt have a lake view i would have been very disappointed. The view saves this hotel.
Cons: The staff were not very helpful, the double bed was two singles pushed together and pillows were very uncomfortable. Pretty standard 3* hotel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A large, clear room with quiet air conditioning; the swimming pool open late; a fenced parking lot
Cons: The staff should enforce the swimming pool rules (no jumping for instance)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super spa facilities, fantastic room with balcony and lake view. We loved this hotel, the spa facilities and great, stylish armchairs in reception area. Coffee was excellent at the bar.
Cons: A shame we couldn't access our room until 4pm. (But the 12 noon checkout the next day enabled us to use the spa again in the morning. So no complaints. ) Breakfast was bit pricey so we declined.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good, great spa.
Cons: Nothing at all
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to the lake and marina, several restaurants in the nearby area, the magnificent sauna in the hotel, breakfast was good and the closeness to the bike path
Cons: We happened to arrive mid Sunday. We were told that everything is closed and maybe some carts would have food in a festival nearby. This is mid afternoon after a day’s ride in bicycles. So we took their very expensive brunch which was pretty much a breakfast with a bit of chicken and mashed potatoes to later find out that there are several restaurants in walking distance, all open and with better food. Disappointing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spa
Cons: Nothing
5.4 Okay
Pros: A lovely location and if you’re on a high enough floor you’ve got a great view. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Rooms were tired and dated. Initially we were given a second floor room with essentially a view of a tarmac roof. Staff did move us to a room on the 5th floor with a better view. The hotel advertises free bicycle hire which we’d booked via booking.com ; when we arrived we discovered that this wasn’t available as the hotel only has two bikes (for presumably 100 odd rooms).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location for lakeside restaurants and activities. Good size balcony and huge bed. Not too busy although we stayed mid week. Wife enjoyed the spa facilities.
Cons: Difficult to find. Hotel sign directed us to Petit Port and you cannot drive into hotel that way. Sign posts leaving the hotel back to main road were also poor

This hotel has facilities measuring 4304 square feet (400 square meters), including conference space. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: - wellness - nice situated
Cons: - staff unfriendly - too expensive (also breakfast) - heavy club sound until 1h30 a.m. - charge for small parking places
7.9 Good
Pros: Good room size and efficient air conditioning. Bed was comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities available plus an empty minibar fridge to store our extra milk and water. Very helpful reception desk staff and restaurant staff. Superb evening meal in the hotel restaurant.
Cons: I’m probably being picky but the toilet roll was rough and thin - poor quality - actually had better in a Budget Ibis on our journey to Aix Les Bains. Only one sachet of coffee, enough for just one person, per day in our room but luckily we’d brought some with us so it didn’t matter. Cleaning staff were generally miserable and didn’t respond to a ‘bonjour’. There were only about 2 TV English speaking TV channels - could have done with some more. I’ve marked down the cleaning as the skirting boards were covered with a decent layer of dust although the rest of the room appeared very clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good staff and good restaurant clean and nice rooms
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and modern, clean feel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room with a nice outlook. Friendly check in staff
Cons: The room refreshments had not been replaced, no coffee. There was a left over room service tray outside our room when we arrived and it was still there in the evening. Noisy children were allowed to run up and down outside the room, but can't blame the hotel for that one!
6.3 Good
Pros: Food
Cons: A/C was broke in our room!
7.9 Good
Pros: Kids play room. Beds were very comfortable. Wellness area good. Friendly staff. Room was nice with coffee facilities. General public areas tidy and well organized. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Room making services seemed to be always on public display on the floors and, for the price of the rooms, quite slow and they having to use the same lifts as the guests! No service lifts? Coffee refills in room. Small details like light switches aligned and maybe nicer ventilation grill for example.
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was pretty good, but I didn’t find any vegetables that I usually eat in the morning, like tomatoes, cucumber ... The bed was very comfortable and the quality of sleep was perfect. The location is in the center, in a beautiful park and near the restaurants, but at 2 km away from lake.
Cons: The pool is only inside, not spacious, very crowded ... for us, wasn't an relaxing place. The flowers on windows and balcony were dried from many days, looks like weeds on the field.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Outdoor terrace Location by the train station Breakfast staff: very friendly
Cons: Reception staff ; a bit arrogant and providing wrong information about breakfast time
10.0 Excellent
Pros: -great furniture and decoration (both in the hotel rooms and on the ground floor); -very clean; -helpful and friendly staff; -good selection of food and breakfast.

Pros: Nice clean rooms, good heating.
Cons: Reception is not always available by phone during their working hours. No dish-washing liquid is provided.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent views from my room’s balcony. Facilities were all good, thank you!
Cons: Two single beds, would have preferred if they were together. Rooms could be slightly cleaner but overall a good stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Price, availability of services
Cons: Wifi connection is hard to configure (need to fill 6-7 fields with your info including work and personal phone.... why???) and you need to re-register EVERY DAY to get your wifi connection. May be it was because our stay was only 1 day but still...
5.8 Okay
Cons: All furniture had seen better days. The beds were short, bathroom smelt mouldy and carpets needed a good clean
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious; nice view; comfortable; well equipped; in good condition.
Cons: The wi-fi never worked; the shower was feeble.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, well equipped kitchen
Cons: We had problem with parking, which is not big enough - if you come in the evening most likely all the parking places belonging to the property will be occupied by other guests. So, we had to park our car couple of times on the private slots and it was not convenient and also frustrating. We saw that other guests have the same problem... In the room we saw cockroach...

7.1 Good
Pros: Pool and gardens are beautiful, breakfast is great, something for everyone. Staff is very kind and pro. Close by the lake and restaurant but still need to take the car.
Cons: A bit surprised there was a train track passing just by the hotel. Our room was quite old style deco, no airco, one ventilator for three people.
6.7 Good
Pros: Bathroom was obviously newly renovated: great!
Cons: The room smelled unventilated and musty. Small room with old carpet.
7.5 Good
Pros: Relaxed welcoming atmosphere, lovely garden to have a coffee in the mornings or dinner in the evening
Cons: N/A
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel with nice restaurant and swimming pool. Staff very efficient and welcoming.
Cons: Standard double rooms a bit small and no airco in our room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good atmosphere, excellent food
Cons: Car park slots much too small!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The rooms are very clean and nicely done.
Cons: The Internet, even if we didn't use it much, is very very slow. Even browsing the next destination took a long time, I guess it won't take much to improve this, so please have a look at it.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast and swimming pool area: no complaints, beautiful garden.
Cons: Room 221: extremely small room for 3 persons, quite seriously outdated and highly prized compaired to international hotels in the neighbourhood. Breakfast and swimming pool area: no complaints, beautiful garden. Absence of airco in our top floor room was not appreciated... temperature in room measured was 32°C...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very pleasant, and helpful Bedroom is very comfortable and quiet Restaurant is also very good

7.9 Good
Pros: Great location with station, restaurants and shops all handy.
Cons: Very hot time of year so air con would have been nice. Warning : as advertised no shower in my room but is on ground floor somewhere - never did find it. Washbasin and bidet in room however.

Pros: Staff are the best, Late Check-in was Very Important, Room was great

Cons: Although toilet in at the bedroom, the shower is two floors up
7.1 Good
Pros: This hotel is in the traditional town centre area close to the station, shops and restaurants.
Cons: Other hotels are more convenient for the lake which is a major reason for a stay in Aix les Bains.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A nice hotel. Old style. But the owner's kindness is unique :)
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was great - less than 10 mins walk from the train station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Owner was very friendly. He has recently acquired the hotel and hopes to renovate next year. Price was reasonable.
Cons: The property is old and the pipes in the walls are very noisy at night. Anytime anyone runs the flush you can hear the water in the pipes. Bed was uncomfortable. Overall had very bad sleep all three nights. I was in a single room with a toilet, bath was separate on 3rd floor. But bath was only cleaned once during my 3 night stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was perfect. Staff were excellent.
Cons: No Air Con

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Great location near Aix Les Bains centreville and 10 minute drive to the Lake. We had a large updated modern room at the back of the hotel which was extremely quiet. Room was clean and included large bathroom with dual basins and separate toilet.
Cons: Perhaps the breakfast could have been better, no hot food, strictly continental style.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff with hotel in a great location for exploring the town / nice gardens to sit in
Cons: Rooms in attic were hot
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The en-suite room we got (instead of a family room) was very pleasantly luxurious, beautifully furnished, with comfy beds and a modern bathroom with a simply great shower. The modest inner city and the baths of Aix-les-Bains were at walking distance. It was very comfortable to park the car on the hotel's safe premise. Easy check in and out, nice breakfast.
Cons: The bed had a sort of non-damp-permeable sheet, which made it a bit sweaty for me. Pity, because the bed itself was superb in its mattress. Natural material over synthetics, I'd suggest.
6.3 Good
Pros: Bed was comfy, nice cotton sheets
Cons: Bathroom was minuscule
7.9 Good
Pros: Convenient location for the town. Quiet and comfortable.
Cons: The hotel advertised a restaurant but in reality it was only for those on a longer stay with a Table d'hote meal. At reception we were told it was a 30 minute walk to the lake - in reality it was nearly an hour (and we are fast walkers!). We were surprised to have to pay for the "Private parking".
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is wonderful, right next to the Faure Museum and just a couple of blocks from the historic center. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are just OK, nothing more. Parking onsite is a nice touch. The gardens are quite nice and a lovely place to relax. Good to have an elevator.
Cons: The rooms are VERY small and the floor in #207 is buckling. The hallway is not carpeted, just has carpet runner with bare concrete showing on both sides. Pillows were so thick and hard I could not use.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Natasha was so helpful and kind in her beautiful architectural home !
Cons: NA
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean modern apartment - perfect for family of 4
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Managers were polite, friendly and extremely helpful, especially with getting our car fixed during the journey.
Cons: Nothing not to like.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: God morgenmad Fin swimmingpool
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff was really friendly and helpful. They have a parking outside which is nice I was on the garden side, so I didn't have the road noise. The mattress and bed in general were really comfortable.
Cons: The room was quite old furnished. The bathroom was not really clean, some dirts on the ground. The rooms need new paint and decoration. The bathroom is really old with a shower curtain. The breakfast was really poor.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A very nice hotel in appealing parkland with a nice smallish pool, good functional rooms and brilliant chambre maids/cleaning. There are thoughtful touches too, like the coffee making facilities in the reception area. I enjoyed the area for accessing Le Revard and the Lac.
Cons: The awkward location, a few kms outside town is made better by a bus service that has free tickets behind reception. There are buses about 2 x an hour. There's no dinner onsite, so the neighbouring Mercure or a Geant Supermarket/ local pizza are the main options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big parking lot. Convenient location. We were traveling from the US. Pleasantly surprised. Pin ball machine in the lobby!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location next to a park and a spa. I strongly recommend to visit Aix-les-Bains as it is stunning!
Cons: Maybe the rooms need a bit of renovation.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Room was good
Cons: No Milk available for a coffee when arriving back at the hotel about 10.30 and staff just said they didn’t have milk. Not helpful. Compared to Ibis styles Beaune a few days ago that was much better. Very helpful staff and cartons of milk. A small issue but surely every Ibis Styles could at least have uht milk cartons or fresh milk available if there are no facilities in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: My room was quiet (showing to the back of the hotel). Breakfast was fine. Not a large selection but fresh bread and juice. Staff was friendly. Many parking space. Quick check in and check out. Supermarket nearby.
Cons: A bar would be nice (there is one in the hotel beside).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds, breakfast and the big park the hotel is set in.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: The pool was closed and very loud construction. When I complained, they upgraded me to a room with a view of pool construction

Cons: We stayed for 10 days but we never had the beds changed an it was very hot 37-41degrees. There was air conditioning which was great but would have been nice to have clean sheets once during stay . There was access to washing machine but had to wash our own towels they were never replaced.

7.0 Good
Pros: Just a stone's throw from Lac du Bourget but within a few minutes of several decent bars and restaurants, and ten minutes' drive from the centre of Aix-les-Bains, it's a pretty and relaxing place. The bar, Skiff Pub, downstairs from the hotel is lively and has a good selection of beer.
Cons: The internet connection is terrible: it wouldn't even stream audio. You spend as much time re-connecting as you do online. Most hotels seem to recognise this is a pretty important facility to offer.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Bed mattress very comfortable.
Cons: Food at attached restaraunt low quality an overpriced. Stairs and corridors dangerously underlit.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is part of Pub/restaurant and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a room with a lake side view and the quayside is only a few metres away. Off street parking behind the hotel is secured by a barrier.
Cons: Nothing bad to say about it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location on the lake. Helpful staff. Plenty of places to eat. Private car park. We’d go again.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was perfect. The breakfast was disappointing, not much choice and a buffet would have been preferred rather than being served with minimal options.
Cons: The room was a bit dark and dingy and air conditioning would have been nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant and breakfast excellent quality and choice and value for money.
6.3 Good
Pros: Great location, by the lake and marina with the nice view. There are quite a few restaurants around.
Cons: Noisy "garden side" room, which in fact was inner court with a parking lot and restaurant facilities. Tried to have balcony door open as there was no AC just a fan and there was no fresh air and some smell in the room, but could not sleep due to restaurant staff and deliveries going in and out during whole night. Dear owners, AC would greatly improve the comfort.
7.9 Good
Pros: The Hotel was chosed for it's location near to the Lake and near to the road round the beautiful lake Bourget. My purpose was cycling and I was happy with the location. the Hotel had own Parking. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
Cons: I have no complaints.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location on the lakeside. The hotel had its own car park but this was not secured or locked at night. The restaurant was very good and designed in the style of an English city pub complete with stained glass screens! The menu was very good and varied although some items were a little pricey. Meals and bar have to be paid for at the time of consumption and cannot be added to the room. The city centre is a little way off but there is a free bus service. The stop is very near the hotel. The continental breakfast was excellent. The room had plenty of storage space. New double glazed windows had been fitted but the shutters were a bit stiff. There are boat trips on the lake from a quay nearby.
Cons: The sound proofing between rooms was not perfect.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable mattress, good location. Parking on premises.
Cons: Bathroom was very small, no air conditioning.
