9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely big room, huge comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Beautiful garden. Great breakfast.
Cons: Signposting to the hotel!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room size, cleanliness, helpfulness of staff, grounds, pool ... and the meals were wonderful.
Cons: The hotel is separated from the beach by a motorway and main line railway We had no car. We walked to the beach but it took 40 minutes and required us to walk along a fairly busy road with no pavement next to the motorway. We could also walk to the station which was less perilous and took about 30 minutes. Getting to Valencia by train was quick and easy.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, secluded yet close to main motorway connections for ease of onward travel. Great staff who are helpful and attentive at just the right level and Maite is superb as the leader of them.
Cons: The hotel is close to some crop growing fields and if you are using the outdoor facilities you will at times get some of the smell from the treatments used.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place to stay. Very romantic with well thought out spaces, Beautiful gardens and delicious dinner and breakfast served by lovely and attentive staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful. Probably one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Staff were brilliant and helpful. Food was lovely. Grounds were clean and beautiful.
Cons: Just slightly too far out in the middle of nowhere. Two days us just enough.

6.8 Good
Pros: nice farmhouse with lovely swimming pool , decent food, unfortunately badly located ( to overcome by taking affordable taxis )
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully renovated old farmhouse. Comfortable with lush garden and swimming pool. Lovely to hang around in. Meals are great and staff and owners are friendly and welcoming.
Cons: We could only get wifi in the common areas (not in our room itself) and would have been nice to make coffee first thing in the morning.

Pros: The location was brilliant, the main square of the Cathedral was breathtaking. Also, even though it was really hot outside, the room was fresh.
Cons: It was really nice place but maybe too expensive. I can't understand that you can use a kitchen and there is no frying pan available.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, very good amenities
Cons: More detailed Instructions for arrival by car needed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect and local restaurants were really good. Mon Suites Catedral was a little difficult to navigate to drive to but it was worth it as it puts you right in the old town section with all the amazing lane ways.
Cons: There was no welcome pack with a few tea and coffee bags or milk
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent right by the cathedral a little hard to find at first since taxi can’t leave you in the front and the sign for the hotel is not so visibly seen. Other than that the apartment was spacious, clean and they leave a water bottle for when you arrive which is great.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well equipped - full stove, dishwasher and laundry. On a lovely square. Close to all things, esp Central Market. Would stay again and would highly recommend.
Cons: Nothing to improve except that a 12 noon checkout rather than 11a would be more convenient.

7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and tentative, my room was cleaned to a high standard every day and I like the eco friendly approach.
Cons: No ironing boards in rooms (should have that and an iron), no coffee in rooms, mini bar has no alcohol in it (needs some alcohol), no conditioner (needs that as part of the cosmetics) and no face cloth to wash with. Breakfast is okay but needs improvement of menu.
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Facility
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable, staff were very helpful. Location is great - lots of places to go within easy walking distance, and the train station is easily walkable.
Cons: There was no iron provided by the hotel, and the ironing service is expensive and unnecessary when rooms could just have one. And the quality of the service wasn’t great, but to their credit the hotel refunded us which was good of them.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: great location and amazing breakfast. The room is spacious and well designed. bed is confutable and massive! The staff at reception very friendly and the bar and pool small but nice to have it.
Cons: Nothing to fault.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very unique with each room being a different design. The location is excellent and the service is amazing!
Cons: The rooms are very modern and don’t have a place to hang up the towels. If you have a lot of luggage or a few large bags, the room could get crowded.

Cons: We liked everything!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building and amazing interior design The honeymoon surprise organised in our room was very attentive
Cons: Room was in the attic meaning you only had roof windows that didn’t really allow you to look outside. On top of that the sealing was so low that I could stand up by the bed without bumping my head into the wood on the sealing. This room was not what I expected and was not worth the 5 stars I expected. The swimming pool was more a tank, it is misleading they call it a swimming pool actually.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and cleanliness, also the historical site it is on
Cons: The room does not have enough lighting after curtains closed Need one more chair for seating in the room.

It’s conveniently situated in the commercial area of the city on Carrer Colón, one of Valencia’s main shopping streets. The hotel is within walking distance of the city’s biggest tourist sights, including the Marqués de Dos Aguas Palace, the cathedral and the central market. Pros: The location, decor and friendliness of the staff was wonderful. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but did take a look at the dining area which was lovely.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Top
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel was in a fantastic location, close to everywhere we needed to be. We booked two rooms, one for ourselves and one for my mother. Both rooms were a good size, and the bathrooms were well proportioned too. The rooms came with everything that you could need and were very well-designed. My only complaint would be that our room didn’t have bedside tables, instead the bed was sandwiched in-between two wardrobes and I personally feel that bedside tables would be slightly more appropriate given the average length of stay for guests visiting the city. We didn’t eat at the property (we opted for dinner in an authentic back-street paella bar instead), however, the menu looked great and seemed to cater for a broad range of tastes. Also, we didn’t book breakfast so couldn’t comment on what was provided by the hotel. Instead, we went to the coffee house next door for breakfast, and we really enjoyed pastries and tostadas with plenty of fresh coffee. All staff we encountered throughout the stay were friendly and helpful. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will more than likely return next year when we will be in the area again.
Cons: N/A

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at the NH because our flight was cancelled. Had a very late arrival and the staff were extremely friendly. Excellent breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very very nice, I felt like I slept in a cloud. The room was so cosy and clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The carpet in the lift that stated which day it was, that’s an amazing detail. I will definitely come back to this hotel. Awesome location to shop!
Cons: The bath. Water sprayed out and wet the floor when I was showering. Limited menu at the cocktail bar. The menu could be way more extensive. Even a customized section would be great.

It was ideal, thank you
Cons: Didnt find. Aaaaa, one very small - on checkin you could ask for the room with windows not to the road.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our whole stay, but the highlight of it was the bar/restaurant that's just downstairs with great music and mood, open till 1.00 a.m. and it offers a 10% discount for the hotel guests. The food is really good, and they have plenty to choose frome including great vegan options.
Cons: There's no laundry machine, even though the room is spacious and there would've been enough room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious and well appointed bedroom with a huge bathroom. Brilliant location within a two minute walk to the shops and to the iconic post office and market. The bed was huge and comfortable. The air conditioning was really effective, often I find this an issue in city centre hotels in high summer but no complaints at all
Cons: The rooms could’ve been better soundproofed as noise from both the adjacent and above rooms filtered through quite a lot. The view was of a wall but that’s part and parcel of a city hotel and were we staying longer than a night I’m sure a room with a view can be upgraded to.

Pros: Service was excellent. Mariam was wonderful and so helpful! Room v spacious. Not far from old town ...only 5-10 mins away. But next time I would probably stay in the old town. Breakfast was superb but they should change variety as having same things for 5 mornings was repetitive. Staff are lovely.

Pros: Location, price and the fact that we know Melia hotels from staying in them previously
Cons: Curtains were very difficult to pull across the windows...….needs lubrication or something....otherwise all was fine...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The only thing I didn’t like is your policy on the roof top that if you r only 2 you can’t seat on couch even if the place is empty !!! My last night I paid over 350 $ for a suite and breakfast was not included
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and lovely staff
Cons: Poor WiFi.
6.2 Good
Pros: The location was great - close to all of the sights.
Cons: A/C broken on our entire floor, so windows had to be opened to cool the room. The only problem is that it was during the Fallas festival, with over a million people partying in the streets and lighting firecrackers all night long. The wi-fi didn't work most of the time.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms, corridors... quite old, but given the location...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent. Very helpful staff and very clean.
Cons: Disappointed with the lack of toiletries compared with other Melia hotels in Spain and would have liked tea and coffee making facilities. I booked two rooms for our stay and although our rooms were the same cost one was much nicer and had good views the other was small with no view just a wall.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect and there were comfy beds and great air conditioning.
Cons: As it was my honeymoon I asked for a nice bedroom, but we were put in a VERY small and dark bedroom. We asked to change and there was very little difference in the other bedroom we were put in. As my family were travelling with us they kindly gave us their bedroom with views to the square and that was a lot better.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The WIFI could be upgraded.

7.7 Good
Pros: The staff is nice and helpful. Location is absolutely perfect, especially if you coming/leaving by train, like we did. room was clean and neat. They let us in very early, so we checked in somewhat between 10 and 11 am!
Cons: The breakfast aria is very small and we have to wait while somebody vacate a table. Breakfast itself is just OK, nothing special and definitely not worth 15-20 EUR per person. Go out and it somewhere local. We got room with "nice" view on the wall ... so curtains close all the time.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Sparkling clean and comfortable. Amazing position, breakfast and staff.
Cons: The aircon was hard to control.
9.0 Excellent

Cons: All good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location could not be better - right in the center and next to metro which also takes you directly to the airport. Bed is really comfortable.
Cons: Single room is quite small for a 4 star hotel, but it still manages to be big enough.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of items. Was impressed by the kids’ choices ( even though this doesn’t apply to me anymore).
Cons: Some front desk staff were curt and not too helpful when we asked for directions.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location of the hotel. Very quiet. Spacious room. Close to the train station and within a short walk to so much...great restaurants and shops, museums, hop on hop off bus, etc. I can't think of anything negative to say.

Pros: The location
Cons: The room was to small.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very nice and plentiful. The location is superb and within an easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the old town.
Cons: We would have liked to have gotten a drink at the small bar when we returned to the hotel at 10 pm but it wasn't open at that point but this is only a small thing.

Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We didn't had any problems with communication. They even gave us few pointer about the best places to visit in Valencia. The room and bathroom were spacious and nice. And the mini fridge was a nice addition.
Cons: Third bed was uncomfortable and it was hard to sleep on it. Breakfast choices were very small, which was unexpected. And the breakfast area was small as well.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly and gave you a good welcome. A well designed bedroom and bathroom with everything you need. Location very good just outside one of the old town gates
Cons: Breakfast rather basic but adequate as included in room rate. There is building work going on next door as the hotel is expanding and although this has no impact in the evening it can create a lot of hotel noise during the day if you are having an afternoon siesta.
6.8 Good
Pros: Clean well equipped room
Cons: Unfortunately there are works here directly outside which make it very noisy from 745am. Also the property next door was doing renovations too which were also very disturbing
7.0 Good
Pros: Very helpfull and nice staff working at the hotel, good location, clean room.
Cons: The ascensor wasnt working properly and the breakfast was very simple.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location. Staff. Breakfast. Big room.
Cons: Expensive for room service/mini bar etc. Room. Quite basic room for price. 1 lightbulb not working in lamp. Other guests noisy and you can hear easily from your room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fantastic, my wife and I started our honeymoon with a one night stay here. The hotel had a bottle of presecco waiting on ice for us in the room. We stayed in a junior suite, couldn't fault it. The spa area was also a lovely treat.
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect. A little expensive though for one night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent. Valet parking a bonus
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good location within a short walk of the El Carmen / Cathedral area. Modern and comfortable décor and our suite was beautifully arranged and we enjoyed spending time there. The Receptionist was very friendly and accommodating and provided us with all the information we needed upon arrival; we also had a staff member bring our luggage to the room, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good quality and with a nice variety for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.
Cons: No on site secure parking - a valet took our car to a nearby car park.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great location, super hotel with friendly staff and lovely breakfast

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very comfy, breakfast had so much choice. Cleanliness around the hotel was superb!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We have had access to prosecco or champagne as well in other hotels of the same standard. We did not use the blanket as I was not sure whether it was hygienic. It looked Iike it had been used and was not entirely clean. It would have been good to have access to slippers and robes in the room on arrival.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Generally great staff. Very clean rooms with good bathrooms. Small pool but well designed pool / bar area. Easy access to city centre.
Cons: Our rooms had poor internet access. When we tried to address this issue with staff we made no progress and in fact the phone was put down on my husband even though he was very polite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was easily accessible by public transportation and walking. The facilities were clean. The hotel was very much worth the value and I would stay here again. The rooftop pool is a nice feature and gives a great view of the city.

8.7 Excellent (3,638 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Barceló Valencia hotel oozes urbanism and modernity in the City of Arts and Sciences, offering a unique experience in this city by the Turia river. Well-connected with the airport, it is ideal for business or leisure visits.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location to the science museum was good. Breakfast was great though it’s annoying to have to pay. The shower was nice.
Cons: The A/C didn’t work that great. The pool is barely a pool. It’s a tub that can fit at max 6 people and open until 19:30. That’s the only pool. You cannot do laps because it’s as big as a queen sized bed. I’m serious, it’s not that big of a pool. Elevators were annoyingly slow and uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good staff. Nice room. The pool is smaller than in the pictures but it's very nice.
7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms are nice and large.
Cons: The staff were not very friendly. Not even a goodbye when we checked out.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location, Friendly staff and super comfy bed. Hotel was also really clean and had a fab roof top bar. Art park right opposite which was great to walk around and enjoy a drink at the bar. Taxi stop right outside and only 6euro to the beach/marina. Some nice restaurants and shops. The marina beach club definitely a must!! Lovely meal and great service.
Cons: Only minor points... > Cleaners knock on early (8:30) In the morning if you don’t put the do not disturb sign out > Bath bubbled and horrible egg smell filled room... had to be moved rooms > Drilling from early in hotel wasn’t pleasant
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We were able to check in early in the morning already and the staff has been very considerate during our whole stay. The location is great, right in between the beach and old Town with very good connections. Great experience after all.
Cons: The pool could be a bit bigger:)
7.3 Good
Pros: Magnific room. Really big.
Cons: Spa was closed. Double bed was made joining 2 single ones.
7.5 Good
Pros: Everything about the hotel was fine, I just would have preferred to stay in the old quarter.

Pros: The staff are very warm welcoming. The room was very clean and the facilities that were available were excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent variety to choose from
Cons: I was happy with everything in Dimar Hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great stuff and hospitality
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, right in the center of the city. Everything was walking distance and there's a bus stop right outside that has a bus straight to the beach. There's also bars and restaurants nearby
Cons: I paid for an upgrade but it didn't seem like an upgrade to me. It didn't feel like a 4 star hotel either. The breakfast options could be improved by offering more hot options. When we first arrived we wanted to take a shower but realized the shower was broken which is really annoying. It got fixed straight away but for the amount that I paid not sure I would come back here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything except breakfast. Was super clean, staff was friendly, beads confy. Location excellent.
Cons: Breakfast was a little poor for the money. You can eat breakfast for the money better outside.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The personal was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided quite some diversity. The hotel's location was superb, several busses were departing ~20m away (including one directly to the beach).
Cons: We wished the bathroom "door" would've provided more privacy and noise protecting. In general the rooms were relatively clairaudient, one could here alot of noises from the plumbing or other guests. The view outside the windows showed a boring, empty funnel, which made the room dark, we always had to switch lights on.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staying here for the 3rd time, everything is great as always!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast (thanks for the good adaption on the gluten free request!), great location: close enough to the main todo's
Cons: Overall the knowledge of English is low, but indeed very low in the entire city
7.0 Good
Pros: Comfy bed with extra pillows, they allow us to late check out, nice neighbourhood, not so far, 20 minutes, from the city centre and with many restaurants
Cons: Old furniture in the room, not enough lights in the rooms, you can see trough the door at the toilet, the light is outside the toilet, the shower pressure is low and the glass screen does not work well

Overview Reviews
A stay at One Shot Colón 46 places you in the heart of Valencia, within a 10-minute walk of Plaza del Ayuntamiento and University of Valencia. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room. Nice cold AC. Modern.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent front desk/lobby staff, and house keeping staff. Both were very helpful (check-in/out, when contacting them by email, asking for toiletries, etc.). The breakfast was very good; nothing to complain about. Both waitresses were very nice and served us with a smile. The same goes for the two cooks who prepared the breakfast for us. The breakfast staff was very attentive and friendly. Another great advantage is its location. The hotel is situated very close to Metro station Colón. We used the metro to travek from the airport to the hotel and back. The train station and bus terminus are also very close, as well as numerous cafeterias, restaurants, supermarkets, shops and other attractions.
Cons: The only thing that could be better is the room air conditioning system. It was not keeping the temperature very constant due to long switching on/off times, but it still cools the room well. It is a bit noisy too. However, it was still a good deal. This is just a minor drawback, the rest was excellent. Thanks.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was amazing. Close to the old town. Breakfast first class.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel! Very comfortable bed, clean room, nice design. The stuff was absolutely amazing. Alejandro recommend great things to see and to eat. The location is just perfect, in the center of the city and close to shops, restaurants, bus stops and metro station. I definitely recommend one shot colon!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, they were great at pointing us in the right direction for food, culture and the many sites of Valencia nothing appeared to be a trouble. The beds were very comfortable we slept well aided by the A/C which we needed as temperatures were hitting 42c at the time of our visit. We would certainly stay again and that’s all you have to really ask
Cons: My wife would have liked a full length mirror to have that last minute check, our particular room didn’t have an outlook so the web page photo of a balcony was a little misleading, but I would consider the above minor for a city centre hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Check in was super efficient and friendly Isobel and a gentleman didn’t catch his name. Fantastic shower and super comfortable beds
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, staff nice and helpful. Beds are comfy and rooms look modern and cool. loved the rainfall shower.
Cons: room was fairly dark and had a window to the courtyard where people smoke. so you cant leave you window open otherwise you can smell it. Also its quiet clairaudient.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I did not use the breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, modern, clean, friendly staff - highly recommend and would stay again!
Cons: Didn’t have a long mirror in the room but minor complaint!
