Nice bar terrace area - good food
Parking, internet, clean, value for money, easy access, quite, 8km from downtown Rooms are smaller than expected, no coffee machine in tge room, provide only one bath towels, mini bar is very expensive, no complimentary water bottle in the room.
Fine hotel, nice room and a good breakfast. Worth the 10,-- extra No bath in the room, wifi not free.
quietness and far away from the city noise had some but not really
The excellent hospitality
Pleasant atmosphere. Good price for the breakfast. Good temperature on the rooms, although it was warm. Very nice bathroom! The food in the restaurant was rather nice. The spa is nice. It's not 4 star in my book (rather 3), but the price is accordingly. I would like to see the bill before I pay, not get it in an envelope after paying. The whole hotel looked empty and the restaurant was deserted on Saturday evening (food was good though). Didn't see the solarium in the spa. Pay-TV didn't work and - apart from cnn/bbcw - no English tv.
Excelent hotel, good price, good staff. Internet is not wifi. Your need to pay 8 euros per hour.
Easy location They first gav me a smoking room, but I refused it because I clearly reserved a non smoking room; then the only choice they gave me was a very small room with a small bed against the wall for the same price
Did not have access to English language TV even after having complained
The plaza is in a great location for my business,it has helpful staff & always provides a comfortable stay with a great breakfast to start your day.
Comfort and new facilities
Very friendly and helpful staff, huge room, value for money
I like the hotel design. The facilities in the rooms can be improved upon. TV should be upgraded to flat screen especially in the business room. The bed should be improved upon. Bathroom niceties should be improved upon
Nice clean modern hotel Too far away from exhibition
hotel is clean and looks like new to me but you should put more internet access in the hotel lobby. lack of toilet stuffs like shampoo and towels
The lighting at the front desk and lobby was so bad I couldn't read the check in form or read a paper in the lobby or bar
silence no rent car, no enough information about place of hotel, no any activity except bar
The setting and conversion of an old historic building into a hotel was very good. The history of the building should be briefly mentioned in the hotel brouchers. The breakfast was good but over priced. It shold not be priced more than Ten euros (10 euros).
By 8am the morning cleaning staff woke me and my wife up,by banging noses in the room next door. But other than that this is by far the best hotel ive ever stayed at and my wife liked it too. The building is unique and since I was in room 333,I had to go across the building across the bridge to the other building,at first I understood from what I was explained that I had to walk around the building? I had to ask twice where my room was, very confussing.
We loved the location and enjoyed the traditional style, architecture and feeling of the hotel. Pool was a nice bonus.
Very good fitness/leisure centre. Room was spacious and very quiet. Breakfast buffet was extensive and waitering staff were very good. Location (usually - see below) very good. Plumbing was of a surprisingly poor standard for such a brand new hotel; the bathroom floor was flooded on the first morning of our stay due to poor drainage and there was no curtain over the bath, meaning that taking a shower mean the room became flooded. What disappointed us most, though, was the fact that the Kurpark, which the details about the hotel had shown (correctly) as immediately adjacent to the hotel, was closed off and only accessible (at a cost of 14.00 Euros) as part of the Regional Garden Show running until October. This meant that one of the primary reasons we had chosen this hotel (its location) was much less in accordance with the actual situation than we had anticipated.
The location near the park Distance to reception from frontentry too far
Very efficient, clean, good parking. Souless, but it was only 6 days before christmas.
Breakfast was very good. Room was large although beds were low to the Ground. No Shampoo, conditioner, etc. Only a dispenser on the wall. Not to be compared to business amenities at the Hilton.
Very nice location in the "Kurpark"
The Dolce is situated next to the park, is very quiet and has an excellent breakfast buffet. It is close to Frankfurt, so very easy to get there (40km by car)
The room was spacious and most of the staff were friendly There was no hot water at night and therefore had to have a cold shower!
The location is excellant and right on the edge of Hanau's shopping district. The train station is just a short ride away and from there Frankfurt airport is easily and quickly accessed The ac did not work in the room and it had to be 95f to 100f until well after dark. Also it is one of the few hotels where breakfast is extra and it is 15 e extra per person which is a lot of money for a buffet breakfast. It would be impossible in North America for instance to spend $30 anywhere for breakfast for two people. It should be included as that is normal in Germany . since te room price was good it was not a big deal but it is a pain just the same and an unnecessary one.
Air con not working and very poor breakfast.
Rooms were ok Air conditioning didnt worked at all.
Clean , good size of room efficient checking in checking out Actually price is too high it should be the given price incl breakfast
Welcome and service to the hotel. Name change was very recent to Arcadia, so there was no sign outside the hotel. This will be fixed this week.
The facility of taking Bus , near to the main train station. I stayed 6 nights , there was no hot water in the morning for 2 different days ; i called the reception but i realised that they were confused and they never gave me convincing answers!! I guess that hotel with 3* stars should not have such problems. Thank you for your comprehension!
Breakfast was included even though we didn´t know that. And it was a good buffé. The rooms was large and clean. The staff was a bit confused when they were suposed to give us our keays when we came back after a day out in Hanau.
The staff at the front desk were super. Their attitude was cheerful and courteous and the help given re train schedules and calling for taxis was very much appreciated. It was too hot in the room - ceiling fans would have helped.
The room was perfect, a bed set up for our toddler and a crib for our infact on our arrival. Great price if you book early enough. Breakfast was quite expensive, 17 Euro per person, it was good food but didn't really warrant such a high price tag.
The room was comfortable. I had requested a non smoking room but the room on the second floor was for smokers and reeked of smoke even with the window open. I didn't find the staff very friendly.
Quiet hotel and good location
Value, location Staff not that friendly
I thought the buffet breakfast at 15 euros was a bit expensive.
A good centre for my needs and a very good breakfast
I liked the fact that is strategically located, close to the Taunus Valley and Frankfurt. Breakfast is rich, but expensive.
the breakfast the diner was very bad
Supermarket "toom" is just nearby the hotel. Quite convenient to buy something no free wifi
They charged additional for breakfest!
efficient, comfortable, easy, friendly, internet, close to grocery
Great hotel in its class. Was very convenient to Frankfurt Airport and was a good place to stay for the night before our onward journey. Staff were very pleasant
Motel One was very good value for money and suited our needs very well. The staff were very nice.
A good value hotel for Franfurt during the show.
Free parking. Payment upfront. No lift. Number code(6 digits) on the door. Duvet to small.Aircraft noise in the morning.
easy to find, good cheap rooms No bar, breakfast not great, but a McDonald's right next door!
Price. Location. Clean.
Food arrangements in adjacent resturant could be improved. Nothing else to do locallz.
the reception staff were very nice and helpful. rooms were a bit bare.
Easy access to airport. Also directly opposite campervan rental company.
10 minute walk from the train station
Helpfullness of staff
Friendly personnel at the front desk
Good service, easy parkingg, excellent breakfast, easy to find if you are driving. The third bed (additional) for a child was not comfortable.
The Hotel Rosenau is a very nice hotel, all rooms with good comfort, free internet in the rooms, nice warm bathrooms, good breakfast. Also the city is very nice with nice shops and good selection of restaurants, Parking area is too small.
The restaurant was closed- we had a rather long way to go to find another!
Nice stuff, location Not clean enough for 4 star hotel
Friendly staff in both the resturant and bar area and the staff on the reception were very helpful for any questions that were asked. I would have liked a little more variety on the hot breakfast menu such as fried eggs, hot tomatoes and baked beans
Clean, satisfactory breakfast. Quite far to the nearest metro station.
Friendly staff, clean hotel. Good breakfast (paid additionally, 12 euros) The hotel leaves some snacks and water next to the TV-set. It has no explanation that it is actually a part the mini-bar - they look like a welcome snacks. At least that's how it is in other hotels. I had added items from mini-bar to my bill, which I did not used. The reception staff, although generally nice, has not informed that it was added to my bill. When discovered, they were polite enough to take it of from the bill. My room was close to the lift which has noisy doors. I was awaken by them each of the three nights I stayed in the hotel. Bathroom was exteremely small - actually it had no more than 2 sq meters - it is amazing how they managed to combine shower, WC and washing sink in it. It was OK for a short business stay though.
Friendly, Clean and easy cab ride to the airport. Excellent Breakfast at hotel and a Great Itallian restaurant 2-blocks away. Have stayed here many times so very comfortable. Main shopping area is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel but really nothing to mention.
clean, satisfying breakfast. very expensive during exhibition time like all other frankfurt otels.
It was in a easy to navigate locality and close to the airport
I originally booked with booking.com then cancelled the booking but got no reply twice! I was able to book directly during the musik messe - it was their last room. I have been anxious that my credit card has been debited for the booking fee even though I cancelled twice - better communication for this type of thing is important to allay peoples anxiety.
Hotel staff friendly and helpful
Everything, especially the friendly Staff, spacious room, cozyness, relaxing atmosphere and location.
Very friendly staff, hotel room is very clean... very high value for money
kindness of staff see before
This was one of the most pleasant places we stayed. The room was immaculate, Frau Siegsmund, the owner, was extremely accommodating. She even offered to go to town with me to help me buy presents for my daughters. The meals were good and the dining room let us eat even after we overslept .
I didn't like the fact that there was a smelly dog lying in reception when I got there that refused to move. The receptionist - an aged gentleman wasn't very forthcoming with information or of any assistance, parking was horrendous. The 'shower room' was an after thought within the bedroom, which was little more than a trickle. I was kept awake by the television in the next room being too loud, and was woken at 5.45 once again by the tv next door!! All in all I would neither stay there again or recommmend the hotel.
The hotel's germany traditional style and location (near to station) were good.
Friendly staff and good location near shopping area No english TV or newspapers. Pillows very hard (foam) - I prefer soft pillows (feather).
Hotel lies about Airport shuttle service, cost $100 to get to the airport, not worth it!
employees were extremely helpful and nice, i had a very nice room 201 with beautiful view of course the toilet in the middle of the room is not ideal
Very comfortable historical hotel in the center of the city
Historical very lovely guiet hotel with friendly staff . Good location.
The bed was very comfortable, room was also very clean. but was situated in a building next to the main hotel and there was a strange smell in the corridors room was situated in a building next to the main hotel and there was a strange smell in the corridors
Excellent, helpful staff
The staff was very friendly - we arrived very late (3am) after being stuck in a terrible traffic jam, but received a friendly welcome and were allowed a later checkout time. The room was large, very stylish (a 19th century feel), comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent (though quite expensive at 17 euros pp). We chose this hotel because it had airco, which was important because our dog has a heart condition and needs airco in hot weather - unfortunately, the airco in our room was very weak and insufficient.
A surprisingly good standard, much better than expected, new and frech! The service, very helpful staff. More informative instructions in english.
Great hotel for the price. No frills, but clean and new as well as easy electronic check-in. Perfect for an overnight stay.
At the price, ideal for an overnight stop.
Nice staff, cozy environment. Outside the hotel it was a little bit noisy in the morning.
This was the second time that my husband and I stayed at iMotel (November 18 & 19, 2010). We liked it even more than our first time there (May 29, 2010). The room (No 117) was very warm and cosy, despite it was very cold outside. Like I wrote last time, that the room is equipped with everything one needs and nothing one does not need - so glad there was no TV in our room this time - we never watch TV ! It was also very easy to get there, although the location is about half ah hour from Frankfurt - we did go out for our Chinese hot pot dinner at our favourite Chinese restaurant in Frankfurt on the second night - only took 26 minutes by S-Bahn. Not a big deal walking 28 minutes from iMotel to Obertshausen Station, very pleasant in fact ! There was nothing we disliked ! There was only one small matter I hope the owner of iMotel might care to look into : The toilet smell was getting a little distinct for our comfort this time - we did notice this in our last stay. Maybe it has something to do with the detergent they use to clean the toilet. Perhaps a detergent with a more powerful refreshing smell, as well as try not to close the toilet door after cleaning it, might improve it... ? Just a little reminder, not at all a complaint, because we really enjoyed our stay very very much, slept so well !
The i-Motel was clean and comfortable with excellent rooms for a quiet night. They're perfect for people travelling and wanting a good place for the night. The staff we're very friendly and you felt really welcome although at the same time the automatic check in machine also meant it possible for you to check in and out without seeing anyone else. I would definately recommend this hotel for people who just wanted a perfect night's sleep however people who want to spend a lot of time in their room may find the lack of a TV off-putting.
the place (very quiet), low price and very clean and nearby the highway. nothing
Everything! This is a brand new family-owned/run hotel and they have a great set-up for our budget needs. Free cable-LAN internet. Great hot shower. Great price. Service with a smile. Close to motorway, supermarket, and 15 minutes to centre of Frankfurt. Nearby Croation restaurant recommended to us was also very good value. We opted for no breakfast (so no knowledge of that). No: all is spot-on!
The room was super clean and everything was absolutely perfect. We read silly complants here about no tv and small rooms ( from unexpereinced Americans) the rooms are huge for a german hotel, The quality is excellent, it is quite, extremely clean no smoking. Safe car parking. There is also an excellent Italian Restaurant in town around the corner! Do not spend 7 Euro on the Breakfast. it is only super cheap rolls, no boiled eggs, and juice, YOur better off dashing to the store around the corner and buying something nice! Or Mc Donalds is better!!!
Super clean, quite, excellent rooms and wonderful high speed wired internet The breakfast at 7 euro is a total rip off
Very clean, good breakfast choice, very new, very comfortable, convenient location for exploring, not too big so as to be impersonal, all together a lovely hotel No complaints at all
Very smartly refurbished and modern rooms, large bathroom and great breakfast. High recommendations.
We had a great apartman with little kitchen, the beds were separated which bothered us at first but the matraces were fantastic. Location right in the historic city center. It was VERY hard to find parking close to the hotel and in addition there was some festival and therefore it was forbidden to go close to the hotel with car at all. Also we werent informed that we had to pay extra for breakfast and at the end we had to pay additional 10 EUR per person per night for it.
We stayed in the apartment and it was really lovely, comfortable, quiet, and right on one of the main squares. There were many little extras in the room, design-wise. The staff was accommodating and friendly. We didn't realize that none of the rooms are equipped with a separate bedroom. We were traveling with a baby and wanted to be able to put her in a separate bedroom earlier in the evening. Although the hotel doesn't have parking, there was a city lot a couple of blocks away that only cost 12 euros overnight.
Nice atmosphere in the hotel and very friendly and informative staff Buffet meal wasn't the greatest.
very good breakfast, near train station (40 min. to airport, 20 min. to city center)
Very well located hotel with easy access to Frankfurt.
Nice room; good air conditioning, quiet.
clean room, hot water and good water pressure for the shower, hot water kettle in room Door handle to room extremely hard to turn (even after it was supposedly "fixed". Restaurant food OK, but not great.
close to s-bahn
The location is excellent as it is very close to the S-Bahn station which made it easy to get to the center of Frankfurt. The restaurant service.
friendly and helpfull staff
Comfortable, clean rooms Restaurant only opens when it feels like opening. When you arrive back at hotel after a hard day's work to find the restaurant closed it is very disappointing and not acceptable for a four star hotel.
close to railway, good breakfasts, helpful staff was surprised to find bottom of bath dirty -- as if someone had been working on the drain
The breakfast was really good, the staff spoke very good english The only thing was the dinning hall was not open over the period that we stayed. Also the tv was only in german except for news chanels.
Tonya at the front desk was a star employee, she helped us out many times in our short stay. The restaurant up the road from the hotel on the left side had great food but are closed on Mondays.
Good breakfast, parking in underground garage for a moderate fee. Friendly and efficient staff, near the highway, Breakfast is not cheap, as is not the internet, and twin room is with two beds together.
Good buffet breakfast, not far from the S-bahn station.
Nice hotel, very clean and modern - a good base with convenient motorway connections. The area around the hotel is reasonably industrial / office blocks - not noisy, but there is almost nothing to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. A taxi to the centre of Frankfurt costs about €15, and opens up a lot more possibilities. However we spent so much on taxi's that we could have just as easily had a more expensive-but-better-located hotel in the middle of Frankfurt. There is an S-bahn stop about 15 mins walk from the hotel, but on a wet weekend that wasn't our choice! Overall a nice hotel, but consider the location. Very handy for the motorway though, if you're looking for a hotel for a night en-route.
the hospitality of the stuff, also the rich breakfast
The room was clean, and the staff was friendly & supportive. The restaurant didn't open every night, so had to dine at the bar, which wasn't so bad actually. Also, there's no super market or glossery nearby.
clean and comfortable. too far away from the city center.
Good value for money for the expensive trade fair period. Good location - but with a little minus, see the comment below. Something's to be done with water supply in the room: impossible to keep same temperature in the shower - very incomfortable indeed. And a recommendation - please add some information how to reach the hotel by foot closer to the S-Bahn station, and clearer than it is now. First time coming I took much longer way than possible, having a feeling that there was another. And there really was;-)
Simple but nice rooms, location is good. No free parking, although, the parking on street is free but the guy on reception tried to misguide me and suggested to use the hotel's parking. Breakfast very expensive (not included in price).
