We stayed here as we were working down here great little place, food was good, location good, friendly staff and value for money.
Fairly close to Bentley station
Awful springy mattress very uncomfortable. Dirty cushions and bedsheets Milk had gone off People managing the pub had a very loud row until about 2.30 am which meant very little sleep as walls are paper thin
The locals in the pub ,who were very friendly and helpful, also the younger manager/ landlady who was lovely.
Breakfast was continental left in your room, not great. walking into the room it looked inviting but on inspection the bathroom needed up dating and it would have been good if the windows could have been cleaned. First impressions of the pub from the car park was "what have we come too", weeds, cobwebs on the windows giving a very run down appearance. Stair carpet could do with a clean .It has obviously been a good place to stay with the previous landlord,
On the day we left contacted us to say we had left a bag in the room. Although disappointed generally with the pub, grateful that they were honest about our baggage.
Facilities in the room poor. General condition of pub, tired and food, especially in the evening, greasy.
