The homestay is located in the forest with an outstanding view on the terraced rice fields. It is very close to Tamar Tirta Gangga where you can get walking down the forest path (3-5 minutes). The bungalows are cosy with a terrace where you can enjoy the view, the bathroom is great - old but clean and big with big bath and lots of flowers as it is semi-outside bathroom (what is common in Bali). The owner is very friendly and helpful. I am definitely recommending this place.
Very friendly hosts. Comfortable beds. Big, outdoor bathroom.
We had some difficulties to find the homestay when we arrived in the dark.
Beautiful rice-paddy view. Good access to Water Palace. Very reasonable price. Owner’s son transported us to Amed for a small amount of cash. Staff helped return an item to us we forgot. Nice open-air bathrooms.
Staff has little English, but that was not a problem. Our rooms did not have air conditioning, but we knew that when we booked. No WiFi, but we didn’t expect any. A good place to stay.
Initially we booked 2 nights here but ended up extending for 5 nights. The view from the terrace was breathtaking! The best we had in Bali so far. In the background you can see Mount Lempuyang, home of the famous Hindu temple Pura Lempuyang or popularly known as Gates of Heaven. Also the rice fields and the greenery that surrounded the area were beautiful. The location is a little bit remote but it was perfect. Tirta Gangga is only 10 minutes walk. The banana pancake at breakfast was delicious and the family very nice and welcoming. Highly recommended this place! Hope to be back one day.
Perfect location on top of the hill. Beautiful view on rice terraces and mountains. Hosts are a very nice family working together to belp with anything if needed. Son of the family can drive you anywhere you want for reasonable prices. Good!
