Nestled in the Aptos neighborhood of Rio el Mar, the Rio Sands Hotel is just minutes from Santa Cruz and about 35 minutes from Carmel and Monterey. Guests can get to Seacliff State Beach and the Rio Del Mar public beach within a two-minute walk, where they will find 20 miles of beautiful sandy beaches. Here, guests can also find a fishing pier, an artificial reef, and the SS Palo Alto, a sunken cement ship dating back to World War I. There is also a bar and restaurant, a mini-mart, and a deli near the beach.
This all-inclusive hotel is a non-smoking property that does not allow pets.
