Location suited us as we were heading for Inner Hebrides next day Reasonably set back from the road, room was quiet Good choice of food in the evening and good breakfast Our room booking was lost, so we turned up and just as well they had a space, although we had to take a twin room.
Helpfulness of the staff and also the beautiful scenery...a great spot for mountain goats like us. super alpine walks and climbs.
The location is perfect!! We had no hot water for more than half our stay and only a half hearted apology from staff
We liked visiting Inverary and surrounding towns and villages as the Arrochar hotel is perfectly situated for this.
Staff were very friendly. Though we only had breakfast there, it was very good. The room could have been cleaner, somewhat dusty.
The staff are welcoming very helpful and hard working. This is hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment and is let down by the Oxford Group. Its stunning location and views should warrant more investment by them.
friendly staff and perfect location to explore the sights in the loch long and loch lomond area.great intro to the highlands.
Overall, the stay was pleasant, reasonable value and the food very good in nice surroundings. Staff polite and friendly. Nice view over loch, which I had requested. Very noisy above the function room when evening entertainment on, til around 2230. Mattress quite lumpy. Some squeaky floorboards. In need of refurb really, quite a tired feel though not unpleasant.
Relaxed friendly atmosphere. Amazing views over the Loch.
Hotel very much in need of modernisation. Rooms were of a poor standard, member of staff in reception on arrival was very unhelpful and unpleasant.
very helpful staff
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, spotlessly clean and included all the small touches to make our stay more enjoyable. Service was excellent, breakfast delicious with good options available. Unforgettable world class views. Cannot wait to go again.
Room and views are amazing
Very pleasant and helpful proprietors, comfortable room, excellent service, perfect upkeep of rooms, beautiful view over the Loch Lomond, location.
The location can not be beaten - beautiful views over Loch Lomond.
The rooms were fantastic and the views were stunning. We were greeted with a very warm welcome which lasted throughout our 2 day stay. We could not have asked for a more helpful couple who seemed to genuinely want us to make the most of our time at Loch Lomand. We decided before we left that we would be coming back.
The accomodation was excellent, people were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was spot on and the location was superb.
Fantastic view from the huge windows. Warm accommodation (maybe too hot?). Nice bathroom and helpful advice on restaurants. Over priced? As Vegetarians, we asked 3 weeks in advance if they could cater when we booked the place. No reply. So wrote directly and was told that we should bring our soya milk which they could keep in the fridge. Ended up buying soyamilk and V sausages to give the owner. For the price, it was disapointing. Cheaper and smaller B&Bs make more effort even with a short notice. Not great DVD collection.
good size room plus lovely view very clean
The friendly attention and magnificent view Somewhat clearer advice needed as to contact times for later in the evenings
Paula was very welcoming and full of useful information abotu the area, where to eat out etc.
