Cons: Our bed and pillows were very uncomfortable..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mike and Danielle were such warm and inviting hosts. From the moment we met them we knew we had made the right choice. Their home is beautiful surrounded by a lovely garden and gated drive. The decor is exceptionally beautiful- they could come to my home and help! A taste of France but modern as well. Our bed was quite comfortable and the linens were so fresh. There was a large window we could open for fresh air. There was ample lighting as well. The room was quite large. On the desk were chocolates, cookies and the makings for coffee or tea.The bathroom was a sparkling white all around with a comfortable shower and fresh soaps. Breakfast was delicious. Fresh pain and croissants, a yogurt and fresh fruit and granola parfait, more special tarts, orange juice and coffee or choices. Three couples were there and each had their own table . Mike and Danielle would share advice with us about where to go and how to get there. They were a font of information. Location was easy walking distance into town- a few blocks- and close drive to all DDay sites. We would definitely return and encourage others to stay with Mike and Danielle.
Cons: While we didn’t miss it, some may want a tv in their room or in the living room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, only 4–5 minutes walk to the beach, with views out towards the mulberry harbour. Stunning interior decor which has been very well considered, and impossible to fault. Freshly prepared, home-made breakfast every morning was something not to miss. On-site parking was a bonus.
Cons: We arrived about an hour earlier than we'd guessed after a very long drive and the owners weren't quite ready for us, so we asked if we could just park the car, and come back later. It was dissapionting that we were not able to park the car, even though space was available. This didn't create a good first impression. A very minor issue was the amount of light entering the bedroom at night from the outside. The room we stayed in had curtains that didn't block enough light, and another window that only had a vented shutter (no curtain). I'd have preferred black out curtains.

Pros: Wonderful location, warm and friendly hosts. And parking!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable. Great location. Very clean. Friendly hosts.
Cons: Breakfast was lovely but everyone needs some protein in the morning. Some cheese, ham and/or eggs would have made a huge difference.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Florence the owner was fabulous. Helpful hints and she made you feel like you were home. Very comfortable place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great for the Normandy area. The manager was very friendly and helped with suggestions. She even whipped up a great breakfast with no advance notice (don't recommend you do that), because our breakfast plans fell apart.
Cons: Thought I had reserved the bottom floor, not the first floor, due to physical disabilities. This was uncomfortable and put a damper on the stay. There was a bottom floor room available so not sure what happened.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, the room was amazing, the amenities were lovely, the shower was incredible. Very spacious and neat, clean and comfortable. The owner was so welcoming, she made us feel right at home, she even cooked us breakfast with homemade croissants and other lovely pastries and breakfast items. Cons: Check with owner about parking before arrival.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We did not require breakfast on this occasion as we had to make an early start for our return trip home - the cake given to us by Florence for our journey was a lovely touch. The enthusiasm shown by Florence to all things to do with aviation was infectious. Attention to detail with all the memorabilia, backed up with stories and the relevant history was first class. A delight for any aviation enthusiast!
Cons: We should have stayed longer! Otherwise perfect.

Pros: A lovely peaceful spot, with cheerful, friendly and helpful staff. I especially liked the fact that although the receptionist spoke excellent English, because I spoke to her in my very average French we conversed in French.
Cons: Breakfast was perhaps a little too "do it yourself" although most of the ingredients were first rate, it was all designed with an eye to absolute minimum staffing. To be perfect I would not serve weakish coffee in thermos jugs, nor little pots of Danone yoghurt

7.5 Good
Pros: Very quite room.
Cons: Breakfast was very basic for €12, and located in a nearby hotel, but not a problem.

Pros: Comfortable room. Good situation in the middle of Normandie battles
Cons: Poor breakfast for 15 € One day, clean staff forgot our room .... after two claims, at 6 pm they came to clean room and change towels Villa Graziella is out of yhe hotel, that was nor a surprise, but is a little uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist was wonderful, the representative of the hotel came and even announced that since there were no more guests, the entire villa was at our disposal and the parking was also available. The villa is beautifully decorated and also the room itself. The location is excellent - close to the sites: the beach and the museum
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast fairly standard for France - off site at the main hotel - not a problem as the weather was nice, would be a drag in major rain - but the view over the beach was great! We missed the email telling us that we needed to check in at the main hotel (we were having a true no-tech holiday!) so a bit of a glitch checking in as La Villa was deserted - a kind passer-by led us to the main hotel where all was resolved and a staff member escorted us back (about three blocks) to La Villa. Be prepared for stairs (no lift) and street (not reserved, but fairly available - at least in May) parking. A large sitting/dining common area downstairs - I believe there were six rooms in the building - I think this might be a good choice for a 6-room group traveling together.... There is a wonderful bakery right around the corner for both bread and the sweet stuff!
Cons: For some the lack of lift (though the stairs were wide enough to negotiate fairly easily) and dedicated parking might be a problem...
7.9 Good
Pros: This is a conversion of a house that was obviously one of the well to do residents. The setting is wonderful. The room was clean, modern and the lounge was nice too. The conversion is very well done. The bed was superb.
Cons: It is a villa but to me villa implies kitchen facilities of some sort. Perhaps I failed to understand what was on offer. You had the use of a dining table but no cutlery or plates / glasses. There was a lovely kitchen that you could see from the dining room but it was locked. This is a part of the Hotel Marine and to be fair if we asked for Glasses they brought some up. The floor in the Lounge needed a clean! My advice to the hotel, perhaps open up the kitchen, charge a little more for the cleaning / wear'n'tear and this place will be a 10/10.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, comfortable nicely equipped room
Cons: Poor communication about how and where to check in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else.
Cons: Was not clear that we needed to go to Hotel Marine to check in. No instant coffee in the room.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautifully decorated rooms and very comfortable bed.
Cons: Rubbish and biscuit crumbs left in drawer from previous guests. Toilet seat broken Bin broken No bulb in bedside light No email to notify us about checking in in hotel Marina so no one to welcome us at Graziella

7.1 Good
Pros: Rooms were very comfortable. We were on the top floor and it was a little bit of a trek without an elevator.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Absolutely Nothing... It was a most miserable place to stay. Poor Service, Miserable staff more interested in smoking than looking after the requests of the guests. This Hotel should be removed from your Website..
Cons: See above.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Noise and friendliness of staff.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We would have scored higher but hopeless internet was so frustrating.
Cons: Lack of consistent wifi throughout our stay

Pros: Location was incredible! Nothing better than looking out the window at Normandy beach. Restaurant was delicious!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location
Cons: The lack of room around the bed.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, right on the seafront
Cons: Very small room, where we had to manoeuvre around each to get anywhere. Also the stairs were very creaky (we were in room 6), so every time someone went up/down the stairs, we were woken up. Limited parking, but there is a (pay for) car park just across the road, which was free from 1900 to 0900 (I think)
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Ceiling in bathroom was very moody. Hotel interior was very worn. Everything felt a bit grubby.

Pros: Jacque was very accommodating and works hard to make sure your visit is worthwhile, even after our shaky start with breaking down en route. A lovely gentleman..
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners/hosts were very friendly and helpful. It's very close (easy walking) to all the historic sites of Arromanches-les-Bains and restaurants, shops etc. Good value for money....and very dog-friendly.
Cons: We always prefer a bigger bed as one of us is 1.88m tall. But, it was Okay. I also really want the option to be more environmentally responsible and NOT have new towels every day. It is wasteful of water and detergent. I mentioned it and Jack responded well, no new towels on day 3.

I highly recommend this place, you will be treated exceptionally and you’ll wish you’d spent more time there.

Pros: Breakfast was superb, the rooms especially the bathroom outstanding .
Cons: Not much really, because of the location one had to park the distance away but accepted that because of the town it’s in.

Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hostess was very welcoming. Stayed late on a Saturday to get me checked in to my room. Only a one night stay, would have liked to stay longer and explore the town.
Cons: Hard to find, off a pedestrian street and cell phone lost signal in the area.
