Grand Hotel Assisi

The breakfast exceeded expectations, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to provide helpful suggestions of where to go and what to see. The property was beautiful and was a twenty minute walk to the center so a good location. They also provide a free shuttle to the center if you don't want to walk. The bar area is really fun and a comforting atmosphere in the evening.

The breakfast was 80 % properly? Different cereals, different sweats, different jams and fruits, good cappucino. But I missed different version of bread, and the scrumbled eggs were a little bit industrial and not so tasty. The room was pretty and calm, beautiful view to the garden and to the valley.

Pretty area and very nice facility staff spoke English well and were very helpful. Breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs and bacon, my favorite, but eggs were watery and bacon was a favorite of my wife well undercooked. We were here mid November and they had heat turned on so room was warm. They provided a list of English channels for the TV but none were entertainment all were news.

Runny eggs, undercooked Bacon. And not being able to cool the room when it got too hot.

Beautiful location - comfortable room with great view. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant. Will definitely return on next visit to Assisi.

Long hike into center of town (several km) - up hill on return. Hotel shuttle only runs a couple of trips per day. More frequent service would have been nice.
