There was one receptionist whom I would commend on getting me a part of a refund, but otherwise there was not much else to like.
More interest in guest expectations. As an example, my feet were killing me as I just came from Italy and spent 2 days walking close to 40km. All I needed was a small bucket to soak my feet in, what I got instead was a "Just go find one, go left and left to store." Of course, it was not there, and I spent another 4km wandering around the area looking for a bucket. Then, the internet kept cutting in and out, where I could not do work. I let the management know, but was told (I kid you not), just go walk around and find a good signal. Then when I insisted, they 'reset' the router, only to have the connection cut out. I then went to a different room where the connection seemed better, but after an hour it stopped dead. Then their pipe started to leak. When I let them know, they said that maintenance will deal with it in the morning. I told them: I can't sleep with the water dripping, they said in the morning they would give me a room. At that point, I had enough, and checked in to a different hotel. I lost a full night's booking, even though I never stayed the night.
Central location even though the area is quite bad and dirty.
The cleanliness, the bed with sheets not changed in 5 days, dusty room and the breakfast quite miserable. On the first day there was actually a fly in the milk !
Staff were lovely and the breakfast was great
The building/rooms are very dated. The location was very central but we didnt find alot to do in the area.
Decent size room with big living area , cosy balcony , comparing the size of the room the bathroom is bit claustrophobic. Transport and hop on hop off bus is in short walking distance.
The hotel is safe itself but the street outside feels like red district and can be noisy at night time , breakfast can be repetitive at time.
The WiFi in the room was a bit unstable.
