The atmosphere is great! My first impression was... "this is soo greek" It's a small hotel that allows you to experience the atmosphere of the city and the country, with all it's advantages and disadvantages. For a true experience visit the hotel
A little effort to make this hotel cleaner would improve my opinion further. I do understand that it is located in an old building, but further effort would be welcome
The location was excellent for access to attractions and transportation. The staff was excellent. The price was quite reasonable. The dining and food was excellent, and the complimentary breakfast was tasty and sustaining. The courtyard provided a comfort zone with just a few steps to the bustle of the city. This is where I would stay again if we were to return.
There were no negatives.
The air conditioning in the room was not working, and was never fixed during our 3 day stay. We did not appreciate that.
The most friendly staff in any hotel I have been to before
Staff helped us plan parts of our trip and purchase tickets. Way beyond their job duties.
Nothing. See below.
I did not like it at all, therefore I cancelled my other 2 nights. The staff was very unfriendly, almost rude. I was asked to make a payment for my stay before I even saw the rooms. When my husband insisted on seeing the rooms, one was undone, then the key to the room did not work, and the room we were given smelled of tobacco. We also asked if we could leave our luggage the next day as our ferry to Souda was at 21.00, we were offered left luggage service for only 2 hours? Quite rediculous!!!. The breakfast was poor: poor quality food, not even fresh orange juice.
Room was extremely tiny, payment in cash was requested on arrival, breakfast very ordinary.A drinking glass in the room would have been appreciated.
Quiet, convenient situation. Reasonably priced for a capital city.
Extra charge made for payment by credit card
Staff is very helpful.
Buffet style breakfast is okish but bland, coffee undrinkable.
Close to public transportation, Aircon works fine
Hotel description tells it's a 3 star hotel, but the room was very bad. Show broken, bathroom very small, bed very soft, no hair dryer as in hotel description, Internet very expensive (5 Euro a hour) and only on the floor (no signal in the room), charge extra for Credit Card very
