This is the second time that I have sayed at this hotel. Once again it was an enjoyable experience. We were given an upgrade and the room in the main house was superb. I overheard someone in the restaurant telling the staff that they stay in a hotel at least once a month on business and that this was one of the very best that they had stayed at. This confirmed my findings. It beats the likes of Cameron House for the comfort of the rooms. Food and drink prices are very reasonable. Staff are well trained and very courteous and helpful. I had no complaints about anything. The hotel would benefit from leisure facilities but I knew it didn't have these so I wasn't looking for this.
We liked value for money an d the extra wee touches like bed turned down with shortbread and hot chocolate when we returned to the hotel .
The room which we stayed in was one of the best ever and we were impressed with the attentiveness of all the staff. Nothing was a bother to anyone. In addition the food was excellent.
High standard of room Poor selection of toiletries
the service from the staff was excellent,a lasting memory having to prove that I had paid for the breakfast
Food in Jockey Club Restaurant was excellent and the staff were very good. Room service breakfast - yuk!
the room was very clean and well equipped thought breakfast would be included in price
Friendly staff. Good food. Stayed in Courtyard part and very unsatisfactory walking in a wet windy night to the main house for dinner. Had to change room because of something noisy and broken on roof. Had no sleep on one night!
very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere Breakfast on Sunday morning could have done with more staff to cope with the last minute rush.
the staff where very friendly and helpful, hotel was very clean the bed in room 302 seemed to have a bump in the middle that seemed to keep me awake most of the night
t he actual location, country side, and within easy reach of Belfast City No.
We were particularly impressed by the quality of the food, the comfortable room and the leisure facilities available.
This was our second visit to the hotel and if anything it was better than before. The staff are so helpful and cant do enough for everyone. really enjoyed our stay.
A quiet refuge from the elements; a warm and comforting environment! nothing
Staff excelllent. Discreet and knowledgable service. Concierge service wonderful. They found me some discontinued perfume! Bar staff superb. Heating at the room insufficient during day. Hotel bar is a bit expensive.Noise above room coming from non isolated conduct.Water would change temputer during taking a shower. The carpet is in bad condition.
The room was very comfortable. The food plentiful and very good. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous and had a very good customer service attitude, particularly the Bar staff. I have no gripes at all. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone spending time in the Ayr/Prestwick area
Good breakfast. Good room There was an essential repair we requested in the bathroom which was not carried out.
the whole experience, made very welcome, food excellent, carnagie suite very relaxing, 5 star service, great night in wonderful surroundings. no
see above noisy fan in bathroom
Excellent breakfasts, friendly and efficient staff.
reception staff friendly and helpful dirty bathroom floor - bath and shower water not working properly breakfast waitress poor service
Location - Good surrounding - Nice staff
Good friendly staff, breakfast food very good. Nice location and place to stay Double bed was too small
Excellent staff, room and meals very good especially 2 for price of one! none
The hotel was very friendly and all the staff were very helpful. There was not much of a range of toiletries available, which was disappointing.
the staff were very helpful and very cheerfull
Very warm welcome and excellent staff. Food was lovely
staff were friendly and courteous, rooms were a decent size and service was quick n/a
The hotel staff were polite and attentive. They provided a level of personal service that exceeded what i would have expected for a hotel of this grading. Our room seemed to be the smallest and least attractive in the hotel (having had the opportunity to look in a few of the other rooms) I would be requesting that we did not get this room again.
Staff very pleasant and helpful and food was good Noise - this took the form of invasive loud music in the bar and diningroom - a noisy party of guests being allowed to use the diningroom for a meeting when we were having a meal - people banging doors at 01.00 - 02.00 & 04.00 am as well as music from the function room at midnight.
Location. Very comfortable. Well equipped. Good restaurant
Front desk staff very friendly and helpfull,at check in and check out Lifts did not work
Sight seeing, took in the racing on sat night, spent sunday in ayr & went down to Culzean Castle and Girvan on the Monday Had a couple of problems with the keys for the room
we like this hotel!!! no complains!!!
Staff Cost of internet access and lack of wireless access
Local to the town and resturants. Would of been nice to access sky sports from the room.
The room facilities approach to reception from car park was really tatty and uninviting. Poor lighting. Draft beers were off due to a fault with the cooling system. Only bottled beer was available at £3.30 for a 330 ml bottle. The price should have been reduced to reflect the lack of customer choice and the excessively high price.
Central location I discovered I had paid £30 more than my friends for exactly the same accomodation and food! Even though I booked online.....
Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location for walking to shops and restaurants. Good parking. We asked for 2 bottles of water for the room. The bar man had none in stock so went to the store room. 2 very small bottles of water cost around £6.80p. He could not find any larger bottles to offer value for money.
Mine host were very obliging and very socialable.Would fully recommend this hotel.the room was adaquate for a short stay. very clean and comfortable. Would of prefered a bath rather than a shower. But didn't request a room with a bath.
Very frendly and nice couple. ALSO very good breakfast with plenty of choice
Clean, Good Location, Very friendly and helpful staff, Excellent Breakfast.
Excellent service and friendliness None
The lovely hosts Michael and Joyce have a beautiful guest house which is close to the town centre..walking distnace to lovely eats annd shops. The room was gorgeous.4 poster bed and afternoon sun..large ensuite...just perfect !
Lovely friendly people, decor was excellent, and the breakfast was superb, thoroughly recommend it. Nothing
This B&B is very modern, extremely clean and well run and the breakfasts are unbeatable! Excellent value for money for what is royal treatment in Ayr. I also liked the lounge which was accessible at all times and the selection of games and magazines on offer to guests.
Everyone was very friendly which created a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Our room was really lovely but a long mirror would have made it even better.
Was given a larger room than I had booked.
Quietly situated outside city centre, nice for summer vacations. Familiar atmosphere - but far from "boutique-styled". Very small rooms, just for sleeping. The sheets was extremely hot. And the smell from the kitchen reached up in the rooms..
Owner very helpful, friendly & informative. Mix of old & modern, bright, clean and comfortable. Also loved the choice of art work. Very close to beach & shops. Would certainly recommend it.
Very clean and comfortable. Staff all friendly and accomodating. Great breakfast. Only stayed one night on the way through, but could have easily stayed loger.
staff were friendly Lots of stairs to go up and noisy doors when people come in including the front door. Room 6 on the ground floor seemed better
The staff in general are delightful We had no heating in the bathroom and the heating in the bedroom did not work. I mentioned this on checking out and barely received an apology. This was the one member of staff I did not like.
All the staff were welcoming and courteous. This factor, combined with the high standard of amenities, created a relaxing and memorable stay. The bath was elegant but inpractical! (The hotel was made aware of this)
Quiet getaway: great bathtub: great shower: nice bed: enjoyed complimentry tea coffee: breakfast was wonderful Actually bookin.com messed up the weekend for me as they let me book Sunday Monday and I made plans accordingly. But had to curtail and scramble because Monday was not available.
Although we weren't able to make full use of the facilities, we really enjoyed our stay
Classic location, great facilities, wonderful golf on all courses, fabulous hotel. Renovations are good but it is expensive, but you need to pay for quality.
The food was excellent. The staff very friendly, particularly Alan Cree made the stay perfect. During breakfast (which was awesome) he always had the best recommendations how to spend the day, what to see, where to go... He is the heart and soul of the hotel! The spa should be closed for children at a specific time (5 P.M.) in order to give other guests the chance to calm down.
Lovely location Expensive and room recently done up, but tatty round the edges and very dusty
Fantastic food, service and the most comfortable bed ever !
The location... we had a room overlooking the golf course and the sea beyond. Stunning. Very expensive but that is expected at places like this (e.g Glass of diet coke and soda water and lime = £6.50)
Great place to relax and enjoy the fantastic views Price, price, price
We were well received. The room was confortable and clean.
Lovely location in Ayr, close rail links to Glasgow, & good quality accommodation.
The guest house was in a perfect location, was clean, comfortable and the staff were lovely.
THe guset house was very comfortable and was beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. The breakfast was very filling and the service was friendly and welcoming. We were a party with a couple of small babies and children and we were well looked after.
This hotel is utterly beautiful and very clean. The room we had was lovely; luxurious comfortable bed and really nicely decorated. Breakfast was great too! Excellent value for money and I will most definately be staying again!
Very homely & cosy.
Extremely warm welcome, comfortable rooms, good fresh food, and the heating was bliss when the weather outside was freezing
the owner where very friendly the hotel was modern and immaculate.well recommended to anyone.breakfast was amazing
The proximity to the city center. We really enjoyed the consevstory The shower was difficult to regulate the temp
Really enjoyed our stay, the room was very nice and clean and the bathroom too. The food on both days was very enjoyable and the staff were very nice. None

the hotel is very close to shopping and transport facilities. the food served in the bistro was excellent. the rooms were very comfortable and clean. the staff were friendly and helpful nothing was to much bother for them. there was nothing to dislike about the hotel
location excellent breakfast
staff were hard working and friendly. No computer available for internet usage (we do not have a laptop).
Central for access to town. Excellent food at a reasonable price in both the Cafe/Bar and the Bistro.
It is very central Where to start, it is very difficult to find despite sat nav, there are very few parking spaces, the hotel has seen better days, you could hear everything that was going on inside and outside the hotel, the hotel says it has wi-fi it doesnt and to top it all we were made to feel as welcome as a fart in a spacemans suit. We were booked in for 2 nights left after the first
room window was next to bar playing too loud music noise was unbareable
cleaniliness of room, comfort of room, huge variety for breakfast, friendliness of staff, absolutely northing
Large room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent value. Easy walk to both the seaside and town centre.
the Guest house was very nice friendly and comfortable well deserved of the 4 stars it has the food was Excellent and Silvio and Linda were a lovely couple making our wee stay very enjoyable would certainly recommend to friends and family .
Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Host were Excellent !

Linda and Sylvio were wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful, even lent my husband a kilt buckle for the wedding we were attending! The room was very comfortable with nice finishing touches and the location was perfect. Should also mention the excellent breakfast.

Very friendly owners (married couple)- most accommodating. Great breakfast. Location close to beach and restaurants, On-street parking voucher available from owners.
I have to say the breakfast freshly cooked was excellent and the staff very attentive. our room was a good size and clean and the service was faultless
excellent small hotel, room clean comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast enjoyable.Easy to park and near town centre. hotel was fine.
the breakfasts could have been better
the hotel was near the town and beach and was very comfortable and clean. owners couldnt do enough for us they were very friendly
Friendly service, and adapable to our needs
quiet, clean, friendly hotel
Very friendly proprietors who really made one feel "at home" in a nice, informal atmosphere. Comfortable, well furnished rooms. Excellent, freshly cooked breakfast made to order.
owener and staff very friendly and helpful very cosy guest lounge and the room was comfortable and clean
The Arrandale Hotel is a bargain, clean rooms, nicely decorated, we stayed in the twin room and family room, Linda is very welcoming. I came in a group of 6 young girls which didnt seem to phase linda as it would most smaller hotels, she even directed us to the nearest clubs and pubs, asked every morning if we needed fresh towels or anything else, thanks for a great stay. Cant say there was much wrong with this hotel except the shower room was quite small, although i would still say was adquate and served its purpose.
Beautifully decorated room. Very comfortable bed. All areas of hotel very clean. Lovely breakfast. Friendly efficient staff. Handy for shops, sea, bars & retaurants. No blaring music or televisions in lounge. Very relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. Was nice to be able to talk to fellow quests. If you want to chill out stay here.
I thought looks nice outside but wasnt sure what it would be like inside . I thought lovely warm welcoming homely place. The owners took time to greet an chat to us making us feel welcome n not just a number. Loved arriving early morn to my lovely relaxed warm room like arriving home. Loved the decor n cheap price. No dislikes whatsoever
Excellent value for money. The best £25 a night deal for a long time
pleasant helpfull manner of the owner
Excellent service, lovely room. Even recognised as previous guest from lastyear
Nice owners, made sure I was comfortable and they obviously put a lot of effort into keeping a nice guest house. Very handy for Prestwick airport.
easy to find, very clean and the host was very helpful
Very good location if you fly from Prestwick. Good value for money. Very nice owners.
Everything was excellent really. Friendly owners, flexibility for early flights, great view of the sunset and proximity to the water.
The breakfasts are excellent and the guest house itself is very well appointed. The owners are very friendly, informative and helpful.
Great location. Rooms were spotless and the breakfast delicious!
lovely big comfortable rooms with homely hospitality and excellent breakfast.
Nice clean room with friendly staff having breakfast bewtween 8:30 and 9:00 am on a Sunday is not great
Owners most hospitable and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. Spacious room and delightfully quiet - we were at the back. Breakfast very nice. Question 1 reply to comfort ranges between good and excellent. It was a bit cold during the day before the central heating came on. When it did, it was very comfortable. Bed took a bit of sorting out as we did not realise at first that it was 2 singles put together, slightly different height! Fine otherwise. Two singles togethere is a comfortable idea.
Location, cleanliness and tasty breakfast!
very clean and comfortable room. breakfast was awesome
The warm welcome on Day 1 and the personal attention that followed nothing
our hosts and our great breakfast nothing
Freindly staff and clean room, central location
The hosts were very welcoming. It was like staying in a friendly home. I shared my bed with a cuddly bear!
Excellent guest house and always superb hospitality. Exceptionally clean, good location and great value for money. Would recommend to anyone. Always a very pleasent stay.
Another wonderful stay at the Inverlea. A warm and friendly Scottish welcome and the hospitality throughout is the reason i chose to stay here again. Excellent location, value for money and service. Will definatley be back again.
Location, room and food were all excellent, and the best were the hosts. They were endlessly accomodating, making dinner recommendations, providing general information and even rearranging breakfast seating to suit. This b&b is super!
This is one of not many places I will be coming back to. Everything was just perfect.
Our hostess Liz was most gracious and welcoming. She has a beautiful B&B which was very comfortable for our family of three.
Spacious and comfortable accommodation and a hostess who does everything to make you feel at home. Highly recommended.
the restaurant food was delicious, and the bar staff very helpful and polite nothing
Really nice, friendly staff and very nice rooms no
The bed was massive, shower brilliant, location ideal Bed was a wee bit on the uncomfortable side apart from that brilliant would go back in a minute
The staff were friendly and on hand day and night if you required anything. Always had a smile for you which is welcoming, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable and the decor is tasteful. That we didnt have time to stay for longer!!!
Friendly, helpful staff. good food, good location. None
Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was very comfortable and the food was excellent
Gorgeous room, large & spotless Only bad points was that the bathroom smelled really bad if the door was left shut.. not sure if it was dampness because there was no window or if the smell was coming from fan. Enjoyed breakfast but could have done with beans in full english. Drinks from the bar were pretty expensive.
