The Hotel Adler is the cutest hotel in the quaintest town. It was beautiful town and the hotel fit in perfectly. We would definately stay there again. The comfort of the room was appropriate for Europe. Be prepared for a pretty small bathroom, but we learned that was typical of European hotels also.
We were upgraded to an apartment given that we were a family of 4. Each kid got a queen size sofa bed in the living room and the adults got a nice queen sized bed. The apartment seemed recently renovated with a very nice and modern bathroom. There was a kitchen in the apartment as well. The apartment was clean and neat. The location is across from the river and a very neat little town. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and generous. There is plenty of free parking. Nothing, however, you must have your own transportation (car) if you want to stay at this hotel because no public transportation is available.
simply great in all aspects - difficult to add to that comment - we would return and also recommend it to anyone
Basically plain in everything but it's nice and confortable. No elevetor facilitiy did not annoy us. Restaurant has variety of tasty local foods and wines.
The rooms are very comfortable and clean. There´s a nice river nearby and the building itself ist pretty. One can enter or leave the hostal at anytime.
Very friendly staff and clean facilities.
Nice little town and good food. friendly personal
Hotel staff was very kindness.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. Meals excellent and sitting on the terrace by the river was very relaxing. No
A great place to stay. The owners are lovely people who make you very welcome.Comfortable rooms and excellent food. Wine from their vineyard. No
very good food, good wine selection, family atmosphere, very friendly staff, pets were well received, picturesque contryside
Werbach is a very nice village and it is only 15 min by car away from Lauda-Konigshofen, the place we were visiting. The room was very beautiful and spacious and the reception/breakfast area was very nice and traditional. The staff did not speak english at all, but they did their best to help us! :) No complaints, but it was a bit of a problem...
Character of main building On arrival Thursday pm informed that hotel restaurant closed as owner otherwise occupied .Accomodation in annexe 150metres away. Next night restaurant would not charge meal to hotel bill, unfriendly attitude of waitress
Warm, plain en suite room with good basic facilities, Excellent car parking, very easy to find in the dark with a hire car. staff very friendly despite language communications difficulty - we do not speak German The setting is a rural village and the local church bells tolled at 6 am on the Sunday, also the accommodation is a short walk and across a main road from the restaurant and reception
Old chap who let us in spoke no english, but was really pleasant...if that makes sense! the hotel was shut down on thursdays, took a long time to raise someone, no food available(restaurant closed), and the rooms were 100ms away across the village square.
The owner lived at the hotel and was a very gracious host. The view of Tauberbischofsheim was remarkable and we loved hearing the church bells.
The hotel was very clean. The decor was pleasant. The value was outstanding and it was very quiet and easy to relax at. The rooms were a decent size and there was plenty of closet space . The bathrooms were clean with the basic ammeneties. The restaurant was also great and they have a nice rooftop beer garden with a great view. I felt that the staff was very cold. They acted like we were bugging them everytime we asked them to call a taxi for us. We only spoke English so it was hard for us to call a taxi ourselves. At their defense, we were there when many young people were staying at the hotel for a heavy metal festival so they might have been overwhelmed. Still I think a friendly smile and polite manner go a long way.
Internet conection is not free of charge.
A nice hotel with an excellent breakfast. Room was nice, parking was available, and restaurant was very good.
Good size clean rooms Very good value for money More than a few flies about Need electric fly killer
Friendly helpful staff. Spoke English. We had two evening meals at the Gasthoff restaurant ad they were excellent. The room was very nice, wiht a balcony. It was a quiet countryside location. They helped us to find bicycles to rent, which was the main reason we chose the hotel from the website - they mentioned the bicycle riding, and this is the activity we wanted to do. It was the particular time of the year when the manure spreading is happening in the countryside so the smell and flies were a bit of a problem, but that is the charm of the countryside...
Warm friendly service with authentic flair. The rooms were large and comfortable. The shower heads were defective and offered no pressure. We pointed this out to the owner at check out and she seemed quite concerned. Also, it would be perfect if there were Wireless internet access!
The atmosphere is very nice and the food is simply great! The room was full of light and spacious. Gps navigators are not able to drive you exactly to the hotel, but bring you somewhere close. The correct coordinates are: 49.426272, 10.114750
Very friendly staff. The one supper we had in the restaurant was delicious and the wait staff were fast and smiling the whole time. We went down for supper December 24th but the restaurant was closed because of Christmas but they offered to make us something anyway!!! We refused and they gave us great directions to about 3 other restaurants. No big deal but each morning breakfast was served a differant way. One morning we had to find someone to find the food. The one day it was set like a buffet we liked the best. The breakfest food was very good.
The room is large and clean, and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Free Broadband in room
Excellent hotel with helpful staff no
we enjoyed the whole experience, the dinner in the hotel restaurant, the swim in the pool, the walk around the city which was so close to the hotel, the service of all the personel was excellent
good directions, ease of booking in and checking out, the consideration of staff in providing a room on the ground floor for my parents who have mobility issues. Staff were friendly and helpful. I understand that the hotel is in the grounds of the first house in bad mergentheim, however i could not find information at the hotel regarding this. the website did not clarify what the junior suite consisted of.
Very modern and the surrounding area includes a huge wonderful wellness park with trees, gardens and fountains plus 3 spa pools in Kurpark. It was a fabulous find. Stay was very good but for a family run hotel they were unusually unfriendly and not very helpful.
Best meals on our whole journey of two weeks. Location near Frankfurt airport (1 1/2 hr) with 12:00 check in time after long night flight. The room was very nice so were the staff, and the real surprise was the meals in the hotel restaurant - absolutely superior meals
Very well run family hotel. Large clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.
Good service and good value for money
Quiet relaxing hotel
Nice small, quiet town, but felt deceived that it was not in Bad Mergentheim as advertized. Instead was 15 minutes away... thought it was in the bigger town advertized. Should only say the name of the exact town.
It was our second night in Germany and it was lovely to view the countryside from our room. The sounds from the church bells was also something we don't hear in Australia. We were doing business with in Weikersheim, but it was lovely to stay in the smaller Markelsheim where we witnessed the gathering of wine grapes from the nearby slopes. We enjoyed sampling the local wine and cuisine in your restaurant also. Your hotel was one of the easiest in Europe for parking and lift access to the room. It was all positive! : )
Nice hotel, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast is good (buffet, available till 10:00). Swimmingpool complementary but sauna extra charge. Small village and some restaurants nearby (also in hotel).
friendly staff, good breakfest, clean room
Our stay at your Hotel was great. We wished we could have stayed longer.
Nice place to be When I booked it was written internet was free of charge , if you want to have internet they charge you 7 euro.....Not fair....
I stayed 4 days in this family run hotel; it was excellent. I really felt a guest. Very attentive and friendly personnell, very good service, excellent breakfast, quiet location on walking distance (about 8 minutes) from the center, free parking, free use of a bike.A nice terrace at the Tauber (only it rained all the time). If I wanted to go to the sauna, I had to tell in advance. I had the sauna all for myself for hours; Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, relax chairs. Very good quality for the price. Only the noise of the neighbour (the sound of the television till after midnight and the open window. When I complained about it the next day, it was quiet after 11 pm.
Very helpful staff. Good dining. Good sleep. I am surprised that some of the staff speak english so poorly, not beeing able to give directions for walking.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located at the edge of the old town centre (5 minute walk). A Greek restaurant is downstairs, and can be highly recommended.
This is a nice hotel recently renovated. The rooms are large and very clean and ours also had a wide balcony which was a very nice idea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is above a Greek restaurant where you can have nice Greek food and it is cyclist friendly (also it is on the cycling path of Romantic Strasse when leaving- or entering- Bad Mergentheim).
Spacious and very clean room. Free wi-fi. Free parking. Decent restaurant.
The greek food was great and the personnel of the hotel was very kind.
Clean, private parking, good breakfast (not buffet but good amount of food), silent room with fridge and small LCD, easy to find. Good value for price!
Very friendly personnel at reception and in the restaurant. Nice and cosy room. Unbeatable price-quality.
Very classy environment without pretension. Nice rooms at a great price. Very good restaurant. Situated in spacious former seminary and run by Caritas, a German health charity, which explains the very reasonable prices. Very convenient to the charming Taubertal and its romantic towns.
Excellent, welcoming staff; I arrived late but still managed to get a delicious meal around 21:30 (innovative, modern fare). No problem with Internet, quiet and relaxed - perfect place.
a homely hotel/restaurant with very good food and well placed for Rothenburg and Wurzburg
Location No internet
Near the centre of lovely town Creglingen, quiet area, nice room, clean, nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Parking place in the front of the hotel.
Very large room. Excellent breakfast with large varied choice. Wines with dinner good quality with vineyard next door. Five flights of stairs to our room without the use of a lift was hard work. Also to carry luggage from car park up hill did not help.
The location and the friendliness of the staff
The hotel was very clean, had nice furnishings, and small details like candles and flowers that were lovely. It's located on top of a hill in wine country, and the view is very nice.
Space in rooms Rear view
one of the nicest, friendliest hotels iv stayed in nothing
Great hotel. I checked out over the weekend, but came back Saturday and the owner just handed me the key when I walked back in. Very family friendly :) Plan to stay here whenever we come to Bad Mergentheim for my husband's cancer treatments. Breakfast is fantastic!
Very good breakfast!! Small bathrooms. Booked a double room and ended up with twin beds
Good hotel in good location with great breakfast.
The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs. The staff was very friendly and accomodated our needs very well. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and even with a very full restaurant the service was good and the food above average.
Restraunt is also nice.
Breakfast is ecxellent.
