This top class hotel is an excellent place to stay on a visit to the Rhine. We were given a free upgrade to a river facing room with balcony. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel has no car park, but you can park outside or just a hundred metres along the Promenade for 2.5 Euros. We travelled the Rhine from Koblenz to Bingen and Boppard was the highlight. Leaving!!!

Proximity to the spa. Horrible customer service, as in none. You cannot check into the hotel from 2 pm to 5:30 pm. Upon arrival there is no note, sign, or any form of communication letting the guest know check in times. The doors are locked and no one answers the phone. The owner is slow, rude, and uncompromising in other words; mean. It is your responsibility as the paying guest to read the rules prior to and immediately upon arrival, know the house rules, and adhere to them. The breakfast is one of the most minuscule I've experienced in Europe. We visit Bad Wildbad often and will never stay at this property again!

The hotel owner was welcoming and eager to be helpful. Unfortunately the hotel is past its best and in need of some refurbishment.The food was the worst I've ever been servred in Europe, we had to make alternative arrangements for our second night as there was nowhere else to eat in the immediate vicinity.The towels were in dire need of replacement and quickly became quite smelly when used.Its a great pity because the building has good potental and the owners were very friendly.

The hotel is fine, nice place, there's also a free wifi connection. You have not shown in the hotel's webpage that they don't accept any visa or MasterCard credit cards (only ec), so since I was left with no cash after some days of travel I had to go to the local bank to withdraw some money and pay my hotel bill. Not a big trouble, but annoying when you hurry up to the next meeting.
