Pros: Amazing place. The hotel is located in the small village Bagno Vignoni - the best option for relax time. Many thankful to Barbara who took care about our check-in later than 8pm.

Cons: -----
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything and the cat
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old building, perfectly situated in the center. Nice, fairly large rooms. It is obvious that the owners care a lot about their guests. They were all very friendly and helpful.
Cons: I would have preferred separate blankets with covers instead of just sheets wrapped around.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, easy check in. Staff very helpful. Good breakfast. Parking available
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We want to return for a longer stay. Absolutely fairytale old building in one of the loveliest little towns we’ve ever visited. First rate restaurants, thermal waters. The head of the staff was delightful. I’d like to learn Italian from her. A gem!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Barbara abs Katherine were so sweet.
Cons: Uncomfortable beds,
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely well decorated b&b, price is a bit high, but the place is really nice and romantic. Position is really good.
Cons: The management should put a panel asking the guests to keep it quiet when they come back in the evening after 10 pm. The living room was just outside our bedroom and there is a coffee/tea station that is used nightime. Our neighbors were noisy! Also, the management should come at 9 pm and lower the music... nobody was there and I had to go up in another area to lower the music myself.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: In general breakfast was ok. The room was clean for most of the part.
Cons: Was very hard to find, the parking was not convenient. The room looked completely different from the pictures. Some towels were on the floor so we didn't understand whether they were used or not. The AC was very old and we did not understand how to use it. It was necessary since it was super hot in the room. Maybe some instructions would have been useful. The SPA was unreasonably expensive.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: cute location, nice and clean room, sizable bathroom, breakfast, spa
Cons: reluctant service at reception no luggage assistance (at 40C under burning sun, self-carry 2 heavy suitcases through the garden to the stairs and then via narrow steps to the high second floor without the lift - memorable experience twice: check in and check out) mess with parking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very cozy room, great location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was fabulous and the bed was very comfortable. Great air con! The cute town is stunning with great restaurants.
Cons: For a superior room there was no water or kettle or even cups or glasses ( just cheap nasty plastic ones). Very poor!! Also there needs to be more information about where you check in which is at the hotel of the same name around the corner from the actual apartment. A local shop keeper had to show us the way.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was clean and in a nice location. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant was good and good value.
Cons: I specifically searched for a hotel near Montepulciano with a pool that we could enjoy in this hot weather. There were several but we chose this one. When we arrived and I asked about the pool, it was an additional charge of €25 each for the afternoon and it closed at 19:00. That was very disappointing. I should have chosen one of the other hotels in my search.

Cons: Surt morgenmads personale.

Pros: The place and the food is great.
Cons: The place is antique and very nice surroundings
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It is expensive to stay here, but the location is wonderful, the thermal baths and gardens excellent and the food was very, very good. Staff is really pleasant and not too formal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing.
Cons: The rooms can be updated a bit (the demonstration room 112 looks good) and noise from the corridor can be heard quite well. Still, we slept well.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the complimentary upgrade to the most beautiful suite with breathtaking views of the countryside. Pool and common area were immaculate. Service was superb. Croissants at breakfast were amazing - dinner was very good.
Cons: Everything was wonderful. Would have liked a la crate option for the restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Spa, the hotel as such, staff, dinner, location in Bagno Vignoni and in the Val d’Orcia
9.3 Excellent
Cons: A bit noisy at night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool and spa areas were really good, and the views all around were breathtaking -- and the pool areas had enough space for all the guests. The dinner which was included in the price of the room was a nice surprise, not a buffet but good menu dinner in a good quality hotel restautant with classy staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and staff are amazing! The resort was wonderful, the hot mineral springs, spa area with lounging chairs was a wonderful way to break up our trip into a serene zen experience. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner each day with lots of choices in their upscale dining room overlooking the mountains and beautiful pools. We explored the local towns during the day and came back for a swim/massage in the evening. They just refurbished the third floor and the rooms are amazing! Luca and Michael welcomed us and we able to answer any and all questions! We will be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Flawless from start to finish. Staff were all wonderful, helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The bedrooms are beautiful, clean and well equipped. The location was perfect with beautiful surrounding areas, close to the town, and within walking / cycling distance of a few wineries, and many more within driving distance. The pool and spa facilities are fabulous. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to spend part of our honeymoon and will definitely be back.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool and parc The restaurant was excellent with choice

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent food in the restaurant as well as in the bar!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I don't think words could describe how fantastic this place is.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is more than awesome, accommodating and truly customer oriented. While I could make the reservation, my party of two others were. Greatly impressed.
6.3 Good
Pros: The cleanliness of the room was very good.
Cons: For some reasons the room was not the one I thought I had booked, the description and photos on Booking were not true to the room I was given, much smaller, no view out towards the main feature of the town. As I asked why, I was given many different versions making me feel like if the staff was trying to sell hard a package deal I actually didn't buy. The room was small for the price charged. The meals we had to have, as part of the package they insisted I bought, was okeish but nothing to keep a memory of, for example, the truffle pasta sold at 22 euro was tasteless. Overall the experience was acceptable at a very high cost. I am confident I will never return to this hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and efficient reception staff. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Would recommend this hotel for the ambiance, restaurant and spa. Gladly come back and stay longer than one night.
Cons: Younger staff in the restaurant may need a little training. Rude, at times.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great lication, beautiful views, many things to do, relexing atmosphere, breakfast.
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location
Cons: Pools with hot water were a bit small
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The food in the Hotel`s Bistro is recommendable. Breakfast is exceptional.
Cons: no-thing

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is in a nice location. Susan, the British owner has been working very hard on the property and she also owns a restaurant. Unfortunately, our visit did not take us to her restaurant so we cannot tell what it's like.
Cons: The lighting in one of the room was rather dim. The bathroom toilet makes the most comical noise, but, hey, it's an old property !
4.5 Okay
Pros: Very friendly owner.
Cons: Dirty with very uncomfortable beds
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Susan went to great trouble to make us very welcome. Lots of vegan options for breakfast, help with transport, she even ironed the dress I was wearing to the wedding and went to neighbourong town to buy nappies for us. She was an amazing host.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The host was wonderful, I was blown away by how helpful she was. She gave us some good advice about our walk. She was concerned when we were a little later arriving than planned (we weren't lost we took a scenic diversion :) ) so sent a message asking if we were ok and did we needed rescuing from anywhere and also insisted we do the same the day we left if we had any problems. As the place isn't in Bagno Vignoni centre, she also drove us there and brought us back again as we had no car. Amazing lady!
Cons: That other guests steal her things as souvenirs!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Susan the host is very friendly and nice.
Cons: A part of the group stayed in 4 persons room, some of the beds where bad.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Practically the only good thing about this place was the location. Very near Bagno Vignoni and very close to San Quirico. But in the end there are a lot of other places to choose from.
Cons: We arrived late Sunday afternoon on a very cold day in May (7 degrees outside). The rooms were cold and we asked for heating. They turned it on for just half an hour, and we had to suffer from the cold all night. The room was very dirty, the bed was full of hair and smell of mold. In the morning when I went to have a shower I realised that only hand towels were available. The breakfast was so and so considering that the four of us were the only customers. There was some cheese and salami available, yogurt and croissants. But the tart and cake were obviously many days old and shouldn't have been served to a customer. The worst thing about the place is the owner's behaviour. We were gone for practically 15 minutes when I received a text "the bathroom towels are missing, bring them back or I will notify booking"! So the owner accused us of stealing the towels that weren't there in the first place. We went immediately back to face her telling her that there were no towels in the bathroom and she could even check our luggage. Her reply was that the cleaning lady always puts towels so what we say is impossible (there's customer service for you!). After insisting that we didn't steal ANY towels she gave up. I confronted her about the heating and she said that this is against the local regulations to turn on heating after 31 of March. I do not know and cannot confirm but I am sure in extreme cold weather conditions an exception can be made to avoid freezing your customers. I was in the region two weeks before in another structure and we had heating. So to summarize my stay in this structure: I stayed in a dirty, freezing cold room without towels that I was then accused of stealing. My advice is to avoid this place that shouldn't exist in the heaven on earth that is Val d'Orcia. There are plenty of other structures that actually respect their customers to choose from.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed - very clean and well appointed rooms. Brilliant host.
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice and Cozy. A good starting point to go to Bagno Vignoni.
Cons: The timing for the check-in and check-out are a little tight. However, the owner was nice and come to give us the keys outside the listed time.
