Pros: Everything from the amazing tranquil grounds to the most beautiful accommodation. Clean bright spacious and just stunning family atmosphere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We feel fortunate to have been able to stay at Gerry and Kajaal's beautiful property. They could not have been kinder and more welcoming. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and comfortable, and it is set on several acres of beautifully landscaped property. There was plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola to start you off at breakfast, followed by your choice of several enticing hot breakfast selections. Kajaal's delicous "full Irish breakfast"gave us the energy we needed to make a brisk climb of Knocknarea (at Gerry and Kajaal's suggestion) with its the huge 4000 year old cairn of Queen Maeve at its top. Sheep are grazing on the green hillsides as you climb and the view from the top is so lovely. The Castledale was also a great location from which to tour the beautiful coastline, which we did from the town of Sligo all the way to the amazing Slieve League cliffs in Donegal. For dinner, we again took the advice of Gerry and Kajaal and went to the very picturesque JFK Parade in the center of town, which has charming old buildings lining a very fast moving river! Baskets of flowers were everywhere, and we enjoyed the best meal of our entire two week vacation at Eala Bhan. We even got to hear some traditional Irish music at Thomas Connolly's Pub. In short, we loved Sligo and we loved the Castledale. Would go back in a heartbeat!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the property were spectacular! So close to sligo town yet very secluded. Jerry and Kaajal were such lovely hosts and were so welcoming and warm. Would definitely come back here again very soon:)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are lovely, from the minute we landed we felt like we were at home. They even gave us some snacks for our journey home. The house and garden are stunning. The icing on the cake was the fact it was built and owned by Westlife's Shane Filan. I have been a fan since I was 10.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Phenomenal B&B. Rooms & grounds are exceptional. Owners made us very welcome.
Cons: Nothing. (Except maybe a bar!)

Pros: This is a beautiful guesthouse with very high quality rooms. Great location for a castle Dargan wedding which has limited accommodation & also very close to Sligo town
Cons: Breakfast and checkout times where on the early side but maybe I’m just being lazy after a wedding the night before.

Cons: A little expensive for a B&B.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts at this Castle out did themselves!!! The place is immaculate. The rooms were extremely comfortable... the beautiful golden lab, Leo, greeted us at the door... happy to come with us on a tour of the beautiful castle grounds. Gerry and his wife Kaajal were very helpful and informative about things to see on our stay. They made us the most wonderful breakfast in the morning ... fresh and delicious!!! Definitely highly recommend Castledale to anyone visiting the area... Thank you Gerry and Kaajal for a lovely stay.

Pros: Decor, location, relaxed vibe

Pros: Room was very clean, always prefare an iron and ironing board in the room , they did provide one on request. Decor was lovely and sea view room was exactly that!
Cons: Food was very poor , but the staff where friendly We had dinner and breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and entryway are so well designed Loved the relaxed vibe of the place
Cons: Having to leave
5.0 Okay
Cons: Having previously stayed at The Driftwood I arranged to go again for girlfriends birthday. I booked a seaview room & rang after booking to confirm the room had a bath in it also & was assured it did. Based on this we planned for there being a bath & bought spa items to use. However on arrival the room had no bath. After speaking to receptionist again they offered alternative room with bath but no view. Although the manager offered to facilitate at a later date the correct room it felt insufficient given the occasion that it was & cost of weekend. It really spoiled what was planned & we ended up leaving as a result.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Absolutely spotless. Upgrade from hotel room to stable room to accommodate our muddy shoes! Perfect base for exploring Sligo and surrounding countryside. Short and cheap taxi ride into the town centre where there are loads of pubs and restaurants. Sligo is a bit of a foodie town so it's all good food but not many cheap eats.

10.0 Excellent

Cons: No complaints, had a great time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: On our week long trip round Ireland we stayed here for two nights while visiting Sligo and surrounding area and what a pleasant surprise it was. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area then look no further. The house and stables have been renovated beautifully to a very high standard and everything was fresh and clean. We stayed in one of the stable and it was lovely, the breakfast room is in the main house and again was the best we experienced all week, there was cereal, fruits etc. to help yourelf, then the host presented us with a hot menu which was then freshly prepared by our hosts and even included salmon. Would consider visiting Sligo again just to stay here. Davis's Restaurant/Yeats Tavern is five minutes down the road and a lovely place to eat.

The room was cozy, clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I cried when I had to say goodbye to them and would highly recommend their place for other travelers.

Pros: This had to be one our best vacation experiences. Pat and Rita and their family were simply lovely hosts to my best friend and I. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them with a warm meal, cocktails and even a sing circle after. I know I will return to Ireland and Moy B&B may be in the accomadation list on that turn.
Cons: I cannot think of a single thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place to stay with lovely hosts
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and gardens are beautiful - so peaceful. Greeted warmly and with recommendations of where to eat. Breakfast was fab. Bathrobes supplied.
Cons: A couple of silly little things were missing: hangers in the wardrobe would have been useful; a towel rail in the bathroom. Noise from bedroom overhead was substantial; we could hear voices and when anyone walked across the room we really knew about it. Luckily on this occasion, our fellow guests were pretty quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent for me, similar to what others have already mentioned. A big and lucky bonus was that the monthly folk night took place downstairs in the kitchen on the night I stayed. A very enjoyable evening and not intrusive for anyone not wanting to take part as I could barely hear the music in my room which ended at 10.30pm in any case. Looking forward to returning at some time in the future when another event is on. A very handy peaceful base for visiting Mayo and Sligo.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The host Pat couldn’t have been more helpful or considerate. Felt like we were staying with an old friend. We were sorry not to meet his wife Rita, who was away in America. Pat’s breakfast is wonderful and his homemade bread is delicious! We enjoyed watching his hens roaming around outside. He raised the Yorkshire and Lancashire flags outside for us to greet our arrival!
Cons: Faultless. Beautiful views and a relaxing stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was of a high standard. Our hosts were excellent and made us feel at home. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: Unable to stay longer.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really lovely b&b In a tranquil place - deep in the beautiful countryside. Host were friendly, considerate and warm. We arrived late and hadn’t eaten so they kindly prepared us some food so we didn’t have to go out again.
Cons: Nothing - all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the most amazing experience staying. The hosts were so incredibly amazing that it was like visiting family. The breakfast (including homemade scones, and free-range, home-grown eggs) was delicious! The beds were comfy and the rooms clean and tidy, the shower pressure was AMAZING. We had a 6 month old baby with us and he was accommodated for with a high chair and a cot in our room.
Cons: There was not one single thing that I could find fault with... if you were being very picky I did notice that my phone didn’t have reception at times, but the entire experience of ‘unplugging’ was blissful!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location, beautiful. Our hosts Eavan & Guido were excellent, very friendly and like minded, and I sincerely hope we will meet them again one day! I suspect we didn’t have the best room in the property and it was all a bit of a squeeze, with nowhere to put anything, but frankly that didn’t really matter for a one night stop-over and I’m sure we would have had a nicer one if we had been staying for longer. The bed was really comfortable, the shower first class, and the view breathtaking so don’t be put off! The property itself is immaculate and very tastefully decorated, and breakfast was excellent. And with a world class golf course just next door (which they can arrange tee times for) I think we may we’ll be back! Thank you Eavan & Guido!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were beautiful with great bathrooms. The bed and linens were high quality, I slept exceedingly well. The breakfast was also first class, with many options whether sit-down or on the go. I was impressed with the number of vegetarian and vegan offerings on the menu in addition to the traditional Irish breakfast offerings.
Cons: The hotel has a renovated and contemporary feel, whereas I would have preferred something more quaint, that wasn't clear in the photos. But all other factors more than made up for it!
5.5 Okay
Pros: Over rated. Good if you have a river view but otherwise quite like a Travel lodge. Nothing exceptional although fairly clean and tidy.
Cons: No fridge, air con, dated furniture and fittings, one window did not open, other only a very small amount, smokers located under window, staff eating meals at reception desk, parking not great,

6.3 Good
Pros: Extremely overpriced
9.7 Excellent
Pros: In 15 days of travel over Ireland/N.Ireland, this was by far the comfiest bed/bedding we slept on. Oh man I wish we were in Sligo for longer. Upon check-in, the girl at the front desk gave us a ton of recommendations for what to do that evening. And I loved the crazy-ass look of the place. Oh and the breakfast buffet had tons of choices.
Cons: Well, we booked online and I don't *think* breakfast was included, which is what the girl at the front desk said, so we decided to pay for it that morning. However when we went to the restaurant, the guy there said that it *was* included. So it's possible we paid twice for breakfast, OR it was just a miscommunication.

Pros: Amazing and more than helpful staff. Wonderful gym and pool. Wonderful breakfast
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was very clean.
Cons: The breakfast! I orderer a continental breakfast via room service, it was awful. Warm bread, meats that looks like they had been plated for hours, small portion even of cereal and juice. The worst I’ve had!
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Definitely top 3 hotels i have stayed in in the last few years. I am considering New years Eve depending on the weather. Hope good entertainment is invested in.
Cons: A lot of hotels in Ireland are increasingly becoming 4 star hotels. Cleanliness at the hotel was very good but for the money the bathroons need to be pristine clean. Didnt like used toiletries left in bath area when i checked in. Restaurant food was very good. If i had one fault it would be i returned chips that were reheated and bland. The staff were very courteous in particular the frontline staff in breakfast room, bar and restaurant who were pleasant and efficient in a busy weekend. Bank holiday Monday night had no entertainment which should be in part and parcel in a 4 star establishment. I would definitely return.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent really made the stay enjoyable
Cons: Beds were a little uncomfortable and small and bar menu could have more of a choice of main meals.
