great breakfast, handy to work, helpful staff, bikes they loan you in lobby (nice touch), wonderful atrium/lobby. Subway restaurant right across from entrance, along with Thai restaurant. Quiet hotel even though lots of people stay there, in my experience. Good value, I like staying here. pool too much chlorine is hard to even walk near that pool for me, rooms in tower nice and a good value but quite small just fyi. Windows can't be opened in tower rooms.
Staff was kind and very efficient. Rooms were clean. Good breakfast. Close to Stockholm.
Internet was for free and reliable, the price for parking in the parking lot was fair seperated sauna for men and women?!?
Convenient location for adjacent trade fair, good food, helpful staff, nice spa area with pool, sauna & gym
Very kind and helpfull staff. Facilities are simple but very nice, delicious breakfast!
The location was terrific and it felt quaint, which was just what we wanted. They also had a very nice breakfast in the morning, which was included. The only complaint would be that the largest bed(s) available were two double beds pushed together, making a gap in the middle of the bed, since it was really just two small beds. It would be nice to have a single, large bed.
Sigtuna is a lovely little town.
Fantastic location just 1 minute from Sigtuna, very good facilities. The staff is very polite and makes you feel like home! Breakfast should be improved.
The staff was very welcoming, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. If one visits just cities, it is difficult to know the people and a little of their culture. Sygtuna offers that opportunity. The town was lovely. It is situated on a lake with a pedestrian main street with interesting shops and restaurants. The town is about 30 minutes from the airport and the train to Stockholm if one is thinking of Stockholm as the main focus of the trip. The cab fare is about $48 U.S. dollars. However, if the visitor wishes to get a flavor of Sweden and its people, then Sygtuna and the Kristiana Conference Center and Hotel is an excellent choice.
Hotel was adequately comfortable. We were there forv a very short time. difficult to judge. Is it usual for there to be no porters to help with luggage in Sweden. Difficult to lug luggage up stairs and through gravel to and from the car.
Simple but nice room, good bed, beautifully located in park Restaurant was closed during summer (contrary to what was mentioned at Booking.com). Total amount has to be payed in advance.
Bed was very comfortable and room had plenty of light with big open windows. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Surrounding area very nice and easy access off main roads/highways. Staff all friendly in reception. Single room was so small that every time I took a shower and opened the bathroom door, the humidity made the smoke alarm go off for 2-3 minutes, even with the windows open. Parking is a bit limited and the layout of the hotel is somewhat like a college dorm complex or apartment building complex. It works but its different.
Silent, relaxing. Nice rooms. Green environment, parks. Near Sigtuna center and the water (Melaren) Chekingout time at 10 in the morning.
lovely boutique hotel, swedish design at its best, pure and simple, fantastic lake view, excellent kitchen, nice village, cute very small and simple bathr, rooms, no curtains, high price, expensive food
Wonderful and romantic location overlooking the lake, very friendly and helpful staff, fabulous restaurant and a lovely and relaxing bar area as well
The view from my room was great. The area was very interesting and convenient for sightseeing. The service in the restaurant was insufficent. I finally left before ordering after I was not asked to order.
Very nice place! Enjoyed the views, the rooms and the attentive staff.
beautiful location, overlooking a lake. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very luxurious rooms. quite expensive
Our first real taste of Sweden, convenient for Arlanda Airport; everything was delightful. The staff, the atmoshphere, the sensational building and wonderful ambience in the dining room - the first "candle-lit breakfast" we've experienced! The dinner was one of the best we'd ever eaten - very impressive culinary skills. No
Beautiful location and environment. Boat and bike hire. Beautiful dining and breakfast in the manor house
Restaurant old fashion style Breakfast was not so rich as it use to be in high level hotels.
The staff was quite helpful and parking was ample and near the front entrance which was of value since we were driving. It was quite easy to get to Arlanda Airport...less than15 minutes. The exterior is getting rundown. There appeared to be no bell staff. Bathroom was small with no tub.
They were accommodating and gave us supper when we had a late arrival also let us use the sauna The pool was not open on sunday until 4.00 pm which meant we could not use it and that was one of our reasons for booking it. Also not enough bikes for the whole family.
Staff were very helpful and customer service was good Poor menu in the restaurant and prices increased from Friday night to Saturday night for the same dish. Swimming pool was only open at weekend and there was an additional charge which was not stated on the website.
We did appreciate the upgrade to the suite, due to a handicap person that was with us and that it was on the first floor.
staff very friendly; Free coffee and candy bar all day long; direct bus 801 from airport Arlanda to hotel (ca. 20 min, EUR 4) and to Uppsala Spa was not open on weekends; Icebar is only for rent; if you want to go to Stockholm: train station Kvista is 2.5 km away from hotel - bus 180 goes there near from hotel but only 2x a day (on weekends only 1x) and costs around EUR 2 for a single ride
