Pros: My room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast area with a variety of foods.
Pros: Breakfast good and nice pool and hot tub
Cons: Being awoken at 1030 pm by phone call from front desk asking me to come down and sign a new check-in paperwork that she had "lost". We checked in originally at 400 pm. 1030 pm phone call from front desk! Seriously, who does that?!?

Pros: Very friendly & helpful staff, very clean, convenient parking.
Cons: We WALKED AWAY from this hotel as the security was appalling. We pulled into the parking lot and as my husband exited the vehicle he was accosted by a homeless woman who was sitting outside the hotel - on their patio furniture - asking for money. He hadn't even shut his door and she was on him. She promptly went and sat back on the hotel furniture.
As he walked to the doors of the hotel, he was accosted by another homeless man asking for money - who was walking in circles in the parking lot.
When he entered the hotel and told the front desk staff of his concerns, and asked if the lot was secured (as we had personal effects on the roof and in the car that would need to remain in the vehicle over night) the front desk staff simply shrugged his shoulders.
We left and did not even stay at the hotel as they were not concerned about the security of their guests or their establishment and seem to be happy to allow homeless individuals to raid guests in their parking lot and immediately outside their doors.

Pros: The breakfast is amazing. Huge variety with both hot and cold options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. They are in the process of remodeling and swapping out appliances, so that's good.
Pros: I really loved my room. The size was comfortable and it had everything I needed.
Cons: The man at the desk was not a very happy person. The area is not a great area in Yakima but that is not your fault.
Pros: The staff was amazing we showed up Thanksgiving day early 11/24/16 and the front desk lady let us check in early then on top of that she went out of her way to help us find a restaurant open. I didn't get her name but I would just like to say thank you!
Pros: Extremely convenient to the ball fields in Selah, 5 min. It was so clean!
Pros: I have always had Excellent customer service when staying at this location, Which compensates for the physical location.
Pros: Staff was awesome and very helpful. Rooms were clean and breakfast was great!
Cons: In a sketchy neighborhood. Businesses around it had bars on windows and doors. Worried all night if our car was going to be broke into.
Pros: I was not given the room I expected. I had a chair with a rip in the back instead of a small couch. The room had a standard bathtub not the promised walk in show.
Cons: I was given a poor room location because I used your service.
Pros: the fact that the rooms were large and updated.
Cons: sheets felt low quality, not very soft.
Pros: Motel property is kept clean and most of the staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: Front desk staff didn't seem interested in helping during check-in process. The pool kept at a very, very chilly temperature which made it unusable.
Pros: We had a problem with our toilet and needed maintenance help. The gentleman, hotel employee was phenomenal. He not only handled the issue but was very kind, helpful. Gave us tips as to the area. He should be at the front desk!
Cons: Breakfast was served from 6-8 am. This is so early, hard to get out the door to get it. Wish it was an hour extended. Also, the hot tub and pool were lukewarm. Not hot at all.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for the soccer tournament!
Cons: Rooms and bathrooms were a little small.
Pros: The hall ways reminded me of the Shining
Cons: Most of the staff was pleasant, but there was one that was rude. Also the fan on the AC unit never shut off, even when turning it to off on the console on the wall.
Pros: Location, free breakfast
Cons: Rude desk staff, small room, squeaky doors and floor, pack and play had holes in sides
The lobby was a 2 out of 10. The carpeting in the hall and in the room was very dirty and sticky. I would not have this type of room/motel on any list of rooms. It smelled like pot and other offensive ordors throughout. We asked to cancel the next night. There was no phone, only 1 towel no wash cloth. This was the worse place I have ever stayed in.
Cons: Very, very dirty, room smelled so bad we had to go and get Lysol and air freshner. The drapes were held up by 3 hooks and we had to try and close them. The bedspread was dirty and smelly, the ac unit was so dirty and smelled so bad we could not use it.
Pros: The rooms were clean and had great air-conditioning. It was 110° when we stayed. The breakfast was wonderful. Everyone in our party had options.
Cons: No..no complaints.
Pros: Liked the big common grass area and the pool for the kids to play in. Also the full breakfast was nice.

Cons: We checked in very late at night and the front desk staff seemed to be bothered they had to stop their work to check us in. They lightened up as they checked us in but it wasn't that welcoming of an experience.
Pros: Balcony overlooking river.
Cons: Smoking not allowed on balcony. Really wouldn't bother anyone.
Cons: The room smelt like mold and People loud all night outside the window.
Pros: Good location just off freeway. It was clean and had a good view of the river.
Cons: Ice machine in hallway (even 3 rooms away) sounds like you're on runway with Boeing 757. Bed is very soft (similar to Sleep Number 25 setting). Toilet is sized more for child than adult, very low to floor and has a small seat, not good for a guy!
Pros: The view of the river.
Pros: Lovely location on the banks of the Yakima River which can be seen from the room.
Cons: Too much information asked on check-in! Lots of questions and Had to know not only the plate number BUT the make and MODEL. Who knows that on a rental car.

Enjoy your visit to Yakima with a stay at Sun Country Inn. Guests can get a morning swim in at the seasonal outdoor pool, and the sauna makes for a relaxing end to the day. Rooms offer flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Cons: dirty stained carpet
minimal to no wifi connection
no leisure chair
no elevator to second floor for senior with arthritis
advertised online 'free' breakfast not included
Cons: The room was not available on time they were not going to put us in another until I got upset, then they moved here one that was. They were not friendly at all.
Pros: Clean facility; hotel is older but the room had been recently been redone. Good value, location is close to many restraurants
Cons: Wifi really stinks. Tried on several different devices.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the staff was friendly, the shower was huge, and it was in a location that was easy to find.
Cons: The refrigerator in the room made a really loud, low-pitched hum, but it wasn't a huge deal. I would have also rather had a bathtub than a shower, but again--it wasn't a big deal.
Pros: I felt like my car was going to be safe while parked in their lot. The room was nice and clean.
Cons: The hotel has a dated feel. Multiple buildings and an overall strange layout.
Pros: Good location in town. The amenities seemed to be numerous and of quality.
Cons: Noise in our sweet as we were above the laundry room. Our shower faucet was in need of some work.
Pros: Great breakfast., great staff, great facilities and great room. Loved it.
Cons: Due to a computer system make-over, information about which rooms had been cleaned could not be provided; therefore, I was delayed in checking in In fairness, I arrived quite a bit earlier than normal check-in time. Furthermore, my reservation and payment information (booked through Priceline) did not appear. Staff worked with me to circumvent the system to allow check-in and to resolve the payment problem at checkout.
A great choice for a stay in Yakima, Red Lion Hotel Yakima Center offers a free airport shuttle (available on request). Guests can take a dip in one of 2 outdoor pools or grab a bite to eat at Johnnys Lounge, which serves American cuisine. A bar/lounge and a fitness center are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: The room was perfect for a clean and quiet place to sleep and rest during a conference. The convention was an easy 2 blocks away, this was very inexpensive ($48/night, expedia). Microwave and fridge in the room and breakfast in the morning.
Cons: There wasn't a coffee pot in the room, and the office didn't open until 6. If you're an early riser, best to pack some instant!
Pros: Location - only a few blocks from the center of Yakima. Price for value is good, but not great.
Cons: Odd breakfast setup. Waffles and do it yourself breakfast sandwiches, but crowded and lots of waiting to prepare food.
Located in the entertainment district, GuestHouse Inn Yakima is a great choice for a stay in Yakima. Free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Nice touches like Select Comfort beds with premium linens are offered up in all rooms, along with refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. There wasn't anything bad about this hotel for the most part.
Cons: The price was rediculous for what you got. The place was incredibly dated with peeling wallpaper and our toilet was not secured to the floor (scary). We could not get wifi service in our room and needed it to complete a bunch of work. Had to go to the lobby to find it. Looks like they are planning on a remodel which is sorely needed although we will most likely not stay here again.
Cons: Entire hotel was very dirty and poorly lit. The door to my room had been bashed in recently I take it since the trim was completely broken and lock had been screwed back together. Capet was stained and ruffled up as well as the subfloor being rotted away and creeking. Stains on the chair and bed as well. All furniture was scathed and scuffed, looked like it was bought at a yard sale.
Pros: Relatively inexpensive.
Cons: Worn out, dated, mildewy kind of a smell in the room and halls, meal offerings unappetizing (though free - you get what you pay for).
Yakima Valley Hotel and Conference Center offers a free airport shuttle at scheduled times. Guests can take a dip in one of 2 outdoor pools or visit the fitness center for a workout. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with patios and room service.
Cons: The room was on the lower level, air conditioner unit was very small and the hotel room was very hot. Toilet seat was broken and in ill repair with chipping plastic. Shower had moldy caulk all around it. I was disappointed with the room.
Pros: The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room smelled of bug spray the first night. Carpets were stained. Pillows were uncomfortable.

Pros: The bed was comfortable, but the pillows weren't even regular size.
Cons: Old and rundown everything. TVs haven't been updated to flat screen, carpets have been bleached where there were stains, clunky elevator, loud fans. Every time someone around showered, the pipes were noisy. People smoking just outside the front door. The pool seemed to be the bright spot, but the water was really cold. No good food within walking distance. Should have spent the extra $20 to go the Red Lion.
Cons: Outdated building, old furnitures & TV
Pros: Pool and hot tub open until 10:00. Good after four days of camping...
Cons: The shower was a trickle.... Not good after camping for four days...
Pros: Good location
Cons: If you don't go to the front desk and tell them you did not use the in room vault they automatically charge you. If you fight the chafe staff get angry and tell you it's your fault for not telling them you didn't use the vault... Maybe it's petty but I was not pleased with the predatory charge or the hostile response.
Pros: It was really close tot he conference center.
The pool looked nice, though I didn't check it out.
Morning desk staff was cheerful and friendly.
Cons: Room 108 smells strongly of mold and chemicals.
Room appeared clean enough except for the tub enclosure, which had dried conditioner and schmutz about where you lean forward when you put a foot up to shave a leg..
The bathroom faucet dripped.
Pros: Breakfast was fine
Cons: tub would not stop up. Wanted a bath. They said they would change rooms but we were settled in.
Pros: Continental breakfast was inedible. Dirty room, food looked bad.Close to the freeway, clean comfortable room.

Cons: The adult bookstore and marijuana store nearby
Pros: Decent value for money, relatively clean, water, heat, facilities all worked satisfactorily, bed was comfortable, staff was obliging.
Cons: Near RR tracks, not the nicest part of town (though not bad), breakfast was cold store bread, cereal, and donuts (though the OJ was good and coffee was hot). Staff was grumpy due to language obstacles - they thought I was being demanding when in fact I was simply trying to clarify (but they were obliging on the whole).
