At the price; it would be nice to have a decent SHOWER in the room, I thought MIRA had long gone. It would also be a nice touch, again at that price, if the heating had been turned on, before I arrived; rather than sit in the cold, waiting for the room to become habitable:((work u
The rooms are in a separate building made of stone, perhaps an old stable. They are really soundproofed so you don't feel you have to tiptoe around and also don't get disturbed yourself. Staff were lovely, food was good, bed was comfy. The village is really pretty and the accommodation is down a side street away from roads so no traffic noise. Also I could see the stars which can't in my town due to light pollution. Recommend a stay here.
Shower wasn't powerful so took ages to get clean.
The staff were wonderful. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant. One thing I loved about the room was the ground coffee and cafetiere.
Staff were very good. Location good.
Room.. Bed very uncomfortable. Bathroom had black mildue. Toilet leaked. Shower curtain too short.. water went all over the floor which made it slippery.
Fully kitted out room with plenty of everything! Breakfast hamper a lovely touch. Awesome room, peaceful and quiet location. Basically a converted barn and rooms are done to that style which is a personal favourite of mine. Friendly staff which such a genuine welcome when you arrive. Pub has a great atmosphere and everyone talks to eachother!
