8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of ocean view is great, right on the sea front. Breakfast in the front room was great, Hosts were very informative and helped us out with a map to get in some sights.
Cons: The stairs to the room were many which can’t be helped.:) The strong smell of paint was bad for my asthma, must be renovation happening which is much needed as The room was outdated and very much like a stay in an old care home room. ((Sorry)) The toilet seat was loose and clonked side to side. Very basic and old fashioned- but does the job. Glen and partner were very welcoming and informative for our one evening stay and were amazingly helpful. Very lovely people xXx

Pros: Gorgeous location by the old Mill stream. Super convenient to access Barmouth and the surrounding peaks. Breakfasts were huge and delicious and our hosts were lovely. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We’ve stayed at many places, in many countries but were not prepared for the silence, comfort, light pollution free skies, the views, the warmth from Elaine and Neil (the owners) and how our hearts hurt leaving their beautiful home. Our bed was deathly comfortable with a clean bright bathroom and little touches like chocolates by the bed at night. A masterclass in B&B.
Cons: The only fault is that it’s set a benchmark that few can beat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was beautiful, we were asked what time we would like it and it was on the table before we knew it. The day we left we needed to go early as we had a train to catch, again we were able to have it outside of the normal breakfast hours for UK , nothing was too much trouble.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely - nice to have fresh fruit and the smoked bacon was delicious. The location was really special with great views. If you want to go into Barmouth and have a drink, it's a bit far to walk so you'll need to book a taxi but Elaine was very helpful and let us use her phone to ring a local firm. The lounge was lovely and we spent one night there drinking wine and playing Scrabble.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding full Welsh breakfast, great hosts, lovely rooms which were immaculately clean, comfy bed, beautiful gardens
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming, superb location just tucked off the estuary on the old road. The owners were very attentive and breakfast was lovely.
Cons: Nothing really at all - rooms are on the upper floors but this wouldn’t be a problem for most
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food was exellent and plentiful and the hosts were ideal.
Cons: Wifi was poor. Which is common to the area I understand. We did however manage to watch Amazon Prime and Neflix though with occasional pauses. If just needed for email etc it is adequate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was beautiful, the hosts were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was lovely. The tea & cake on our arrival was very thoughtful and tasty. I would return and would highly recommend to a friend.

Pros: Very friendly no
Cons: The weather wasn't the best
7.0 Good
Pros: First the positive ,Views ,calm ,breakfast 10 out of 10
Cons: It was perishingly cold in the public lounge , a large log burner was there but not lit ,I was wearing 4 layers 3 of them wool and still could not feel my toes . The bathroom was cold to the point of debating a shower . After much exploring figured out how to turn the towel rail on but it never worked and there were no directions in the guest guide A heater was turned on in the restaurant adjacent to the lounge about an hour before dinner . Still cold but not as much as earlier , when we were trying to enjoy the view from the lounge , thinking warm thoughts Dinner was hit and miss , the main Duck course was better than expected but served with a limp pile of lettuce and a tiny pale tomato as garnish . The vegetables were cold served , I suspect microwaved from earlier , overcooked no butter or any other way to allay the poor quality . Dessert a lemon tart was extremely good but the coffee was bitter

Cons: Unfortunately the windows in our room leaked badly. The staff had placed towels on the sills to mop up the rainwater but throughout the night these became saturated and water started to drip onto the floor. The constant tapping kept us awake and we used the bath towels provided to us to replace the saturated ones, we had to wring the towels out and leave them in the bath. Whilst appreciating the weather conditions were unprecedented the hotel was aware the windows were leaking before our arrival and we feel could have done more to manage the problem.

Pros: The hosts had gone visiting for Christmas when I arrived but they had left good, clear instructions in an advance email and a friendly welcoming letter on the table. From the moment I walked in the room, I was astounded by the luxury! - it was far beyond the price I had paid! The double-room apartment is fully self-contained and has an amazing view overlooking the bay, and that was further emphasised when I awoke in the morning to see lots of chirpy cheerful birds - sparrows, robins, finches, blackbirds all fluttering around the seed-feeders in the garden below - with two squirrels and three pigeons looking for crumbs! I had a nice walk around the town, admiring the stone buildings and clean scenery, and the public transport staff were truly a breath of fresh air! .. I couldn't imagine a more perfect way to finish my trip to the UK :)
Cons: I don't think anything could have been better! .. this place truly is a slice of paradise.

Pros: The views were stunning. The apartment was large, recently updated, had excellent facilities and heating. The bathrooms were very nice. The kitchen was provided with a great assortment of pots, pans and accessories for cooking. The TV was a good flatscreen smart TV (LG), so Netflix and Amazon TV worked well. WiFi was decent. David, our host was very welcoming, provided us with a bottle of wine and some chocolates for the grandchildren.
Cons: Access into the driveway is difficult requiring either good reversing skills or use of chance turning spot further up the hill. Same for exiting. The property is on a steep hill so won’t be suitable for disabled or small children if you intend to walk into Barmouth.

Pros: I liked the spectacular views from the bedroom and dining room. Also the hearty Welsh breakfast. Walks can be done from the guest house front door and with the train station nearby you do not need a car. The room was comfortable and spacious.
Cons: Minor things were the shower being a bit pokey and a slightly less than comfortable mattress.
