10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a short but excellent stay at Ferme de la Baie! It is a beautiful and peaceful place, a short distance drive from Mont Saint Michel, out in the beautiful countryside. Rooms were comfortable, and warm. The breakfast was nice, including some homemade yogurt, jams and cakes. Henri was welcoming and accommodating. GPS directions dropped us pretty much there.
Cons: Nothing. We hope to come back some day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great, friendly people))) nice and Cousy place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, wonderful garden. The rooms were extremely comfortable, very tastefully decorated and immaculate. Breakfast was made with top quality, natural products. The house was easy to find and in an idyllic location, very convenient for the Mont Sant Michel visit and as a base for Normandy and Northeast Bretagne. Thank you Henri and Ruth for an outstanding stay.
Cons: Pillows were a bit too flat for my taste.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I could mention how comfy, cute and clean Henry's place is. I could even talk about the location and how convenient it is: so close to Mont Saint Michel, and also far enough to enjoy quietness at countryside. But that's what you'd see in a standard good review and I believe something more must be said... I spent only two days there and it was very little time! Why? Pleasant and witty conversation (mostly during breakfast served with the delicious handmade jelly and yogurt). Simplicity, generosity, kindness, wisdom... A place full of heart and soul. A nutshell. This is what really matters and why I highly recommend Ferme de la Baie. Thank you so much Henry!!! We hope to come back soon!
Cons: I do not have any complaints, quite the contrary.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: peaceful countryside, clean rooms, great breakfast and excellent host !!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very attentive and always had great bread and baguettes ready, when we came down in the morning. We were allowed to use their refrigerator and freezer to store food, as well as their computer to transfer photos from a card to a USB stick.
Cons: The doors in the room were squeaky but a little oil will fix it, quickly. I rated the restaurants "near" the property low, but we did eat at one in Pontorson, which was quite good...it's just not as "near" to Chambres d'Hôtes Ferme de la Baie, as the two others we tried, which were each within 5-10 minutes driving distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Henry was a brilliant host. He gave us excellent tips on things to do in the area and gave us assistance when we had trouble with our hire car. The house is beautiful and you get an amazing breakfast each day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We chose this property for its proximity to Mont St. Michele, and also the historic look of the building. We were totally satisfied with all aspects of our stay. We had a spacious twin room with an updated bathroom. A delicious breakfast was served in the kitchen, and included fresh croissants and homemade yogurt and jams, and fruit from the garden. The hosts were interesting to speak with, and also invited to use the kitchen whenever we wished, which we did for an evening picnic meal. It was an easy trip for sightseeing, and we received some good tips on timing from the host.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was charming at the large shared table in friendly atmosphere : plenty of bread, different kind of jam, home made crepes of superior quality. The room was spacious. Bathroom was good equipped. Easy communication with owner. And you can pay with "chèque vacances"! Good private parking. Close to Mont Saint Michel but not too close to be over expensive. Large territory could be good for long term staying with children.
Cons: Room is absolutely not soundproof. Pay attention that you have to climb to the 2 floor by narrow stairs to get to you room. By default you have to check-in in the certain window of time, but it could be flexible deal. Probably it would be not so easy without car to get there.

Pros: Gracious owner & pleasant staff; gorgeous historic interior; extreme attention to detail in all amenities; beautiful, whimsical interpretation of historic garden style; extremely peaceful environment - wish we could have stayed a week to do nothing but sleep, read, & stroll the gardens!!
Cons: Everything was perfect; can’t think of a thing I’d change!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very pleasant and spoke excellent English. The owner also told us all about the history of the chateau and recommended places to eat. The room was amazing and we had a fabulous stay. Lovely home made crepes for breakfast too.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a very unusual and a very interesting, and a very charming place. It is really a stately home, rather than a small castle or palace. It is a very much lived-in grand country manor, so not at all pretentious in spite of its outward grandeur - a family home. But the grandure is certainly here. The site is a fantastic world class Italianate topiary garden with a terrific view on one side, and a dignified courtyard on the other. Suptuous comfortable public rooms, formal dining/breakfast room, very grand bedrooms, nice big baths. Charming friendly host and hostes. Awesome outdoor swimming pool Visiting Brittany is not complete without staying at this welcoming amazing place. Worth every penny !!
Cons: Nothing

8.8 Excellent
Pros: My husband, 2 children and mother in law stayed there. Comfortable room with homemade breakfast, they enjoyed it very much.
7.5 Good
Pros: Felt the vintage stay and decoration of the property. Warm welcoming grandma as the property owner (or their rep.) Shower room has been provided with all the toiletries needed including perfumes. Breakfast was good and freshly prepared in the vintage kitchen.
Cons: Toilet & shower rooms were outside the bedrooms and on the hallway which don't give you a private feel. (This is applicable only to some rooms) Bed was standard double not queen. Due to our kid sleeping on the same bed, it was quite small. The property rep. (grandma) only speaks French and no English. (But certainly very helpful).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This charming traditional chambre d’hôte in a small village is located close to Mont Saint Michel and has a lovely garden, where you can rest or the children can play table tennis. At night it is very quiet. Breakfast is good with self made jams and cheese. the host is very friendly and incredibly energetic given her age. Shower is good.
Cons: Being on the ground floor, you will hear the wooden floor in the room above (which luckily didn’t last long). The shower is a bit dark and there was a faint smell (of humidity?) in the bathroom. Hardly having Wifi can be an advantage for busy parents, for teenagers it is the end of the world.
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice garden, very quiet environment. At night you can see all stars in the universe (there is no street lighting). Good home-made breakfast. The host is very nice and accommodating. Mont Saint-Michel is 25 minutes away.
Cons: The room we booked had been given to someone else, so we were assigned to another one we believe wasn't as good. This property is in a village that has nothing (no restaurants, night street lighting), though other villages with services are in a 15 minute radius. The price perhaps is a bit excessive for the quality of the room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house and garden kept by a very lovely owner 90 years young. She even handpicked fresh strawberries from her garden for our breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Warm and welcoming host, everything very authentic. I would recommend it if you want to just detach from the daily stress and you are willing to survive with an Edge connection :). Location is suitable only with a car.

Pros: Beds were the most comfortable in any hotel/b&b I have ever stayed in. The old couple who ran the hotel speak no English. We spoke no French but much fun was had at breakfast

Pros: Beautiful ! Looked very recently refurbished, spacious room, bathroom had a walk in shower which was great, a balcony to sit out on and enjoy some local cidre! Hosts were very friendly and kindly provided a very tasty continental breakfast in the main house. Perfect location to stay at if you are visiting Mont Saint Michel the next day like we did!
Cons: Perhaps access to the room before 5pm
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was served in the family dining room which was lovely. The owners were very welcoming and attentive. The room was very comfortable and had a view over the wonderful garden.
Cons: There was no bath. Limited selection of bread and croissants at breakfast..would have been nice to have had eggs etc. as breakfast was an additional 7 euros each. Antrain was dead..no restaurants open..the only one was shut on holiday. Only a supermarket, small shop and tabac. Nothing open in the evening for a drink or a meal..a real pity as the lovely is fab and well kept..we found this made it boring as no interaction with anyone. All the commercial businesses other than the ones mentioned were shut and looked like someone had left in a hurry!
