very professional staff and clean comfortable room lack of airconditioning
The staff were all very helpful and spoke excellent English. We were able to borrow the hotels bicycles and even given ideas of fun sight seeing routes to pedal. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent and the waitresses were very friendly.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms, comfortable mattresses, private bath in each of our rooms. Excellent stay. Kitchen/Restaurant hours - Our group returned after working late our first evening and missed dinner. Would have liked some type of mini-bar or something to get some snacks to tide us over until morning. We made sure we made it back in time to have dinner every night after that.
quiet, slow food, large rooms
A nice town to visit, quieter than Ingolstadt!.
non negative aspects . nice Hotel !
Frau Schuster was very sweet and helpful They gave my room away at 22.00 and the reservation said that we had the room until 23.00, so we had to stay in alternative room without bath.
The room was basic and very cold, The decoration was poor with cracks in the wall and plaster missing. The shower fittings needed repair. The hotel supplied tea towel sized towels were totally inadequate for taking a shower. No soap supplied. Very poor value for money. The staff had very poor english, which is unusual in my experience. They had a very good grip of asking for their money and insisting on cash payment only! The breakfast consisted of dry rolls and coffee. If you wanted tea or anything else you had to go down to the kitchen and ask for it. Service was slow or non-existent! The evening meal food was okay but very expensive and the service slow. All in all a rip-off!
Nothing good Very cold room. No towel, no soap, mould everywhere especially in the bathroom. No credi card accepted. Very poor internet connection. The swimpool exist but is out of order. The receptionist didn't check booking reservation. No car parking. You have to arrange by yourself.
Very pleasant hotel and good kitchen. Really Bayerische atmosphere
Nice place, good located, polite and considerable staff. The rooms are big and nice, very confortable beds.
Food was excellent. Staff was very attentive and friendly.
Everything about it was good, It is a well run hotel/pub with excellent, spacious rooms, a fantastic breakfast and good dinners. Mein host was very cheerful and helpful. No
The owners are very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and proper affordable food in the restaurant (in the weekends it's full every night). Nice village with good opportunities for hiking and bicycling. Price - quality is very good. No big problem, but the rooms differ in quality pretty much (we had different rooms for multiple nights)
We only stayed one night on our way to Italy. Very quiet and picturesque setting, worth that little bit extra drive from the motorway. Rooms what you would expect for price range in Germany, a bit old fashioned, but basically comfortable and very clean.Found the owner very friendly, depsite the language barrier. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. Nothing really, apart from the we did find it somewhat difficult to order from the menu due to our poor knowledge of German and we felt that the waitress could perhaps have been a bit more understanding and helpful towards us.
We liked the very friendly and always helpful host. We also liked meals, both breakfasts(included) and the dinners. We didn't get to meet the cook but the food was excellent. We booked 2 nights but ended up staying 4. The place was very clean and everything was well maintained and in perfect working condition (Wi-Fi Internet was the only exception). After staying in a few more places in Bavaria, we still look fondly back at Zum Brau-Toni. There was a bit of a problem with the wireless Internet in our room. However, this seems to be endemic to many gasthofs in Bavaria. Either the walls and ceilings are too thick or the routers too weak.
Owner is very kind. Breakfast is excellent
Nice fiendly atmosphere ,friendly landlord and staff ,in a nice little town. Luck of parking spaces
Breakfast was excellent, it's in a beautiful town with many hiking/biking options
the staff was very friendly, a cozy hotel
Very friendly and attentive staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Strange smell from wardrobe.
Very friendly manager and excellent food
A good hotel for a transit stay. Very cosy restaurant with local and friendly atmosphere.
More like a small inn than hotel, complete with excellent owner/chef, friendly staff and nice location near castle. Rooms were very recently remodeled in contemporary light wood w/colorful accents. Free parking. Terrace. Delicious dinner menu. Hotel located about 25 minutes from Ingolstadt train station for transport to Munich.
The proprietor was extremely helpful about helping us to check in online for our flight
Hotel was very enjoyable. Rooms were large, clean and modern. Very quite in the evenings. The room had a large flat screen TV with multiple english stations. Staff was extremly helpful and friendly. Spoke excellent english. Food was excellent, not fancy, just good hardy german food. Nice beer garden out front. Free parking and internet service. My laptop would not work on their system and the owner allowed me to use his personnal laptop. Location is close to Ingelstadt for the Audi factory and outlet stores.
Breakfast Buffet, spotless rooms, beautiful locale No
Easy to go to Nurenberg, Munchen. Altmuhltal very nice. In the triple room the bathroom good be bigger
We knew that the place was quite cheap, but it was our big surprise to find out that it was located in a very nice area and that the staff were very friendly. In addition nice breakfast was included in the low price, with high quality good bread, including local speciality - Prezel - really delicious! For some more money it was possible to get a lovely dinner in a huge amount! We were there for Easter Sunday and were nicely surprised to see decorated eggs and a lamb shaped cake on our table at breakfast. A very nice welcoming touch! the only thing which I didn't quite like was the fact that the restaurant open for the public was in the same building as the hotel and our room was located near to it. On our last night (out of 3) it got quite loud till after midnight, but it was a special occasion, local people won a bowling competition against Augsburg! Quite a success for a small village!
The hotel was very convenient for us as we were travelling between Munich and Nuremberg. The room was a good size and beds were comfortable. Staff were pleasant and friendly and could speak good english too! There was a very slight strange smell about the place! It was possibly a dampness or may have been stale smoke. It was noticable in the room too, and in the morning I was more aware of having smelled it all night long. The room was a non smoking room, but due to the age of the building, and the oak beams in the room, it could be that they had kept the smell of previous smoke. My husband didnt notice anything, so it might just have been me!
The hotel has won awards for its food which was very good and that is what we enjoyed most. The location was remote - a long way from Kipfenberg where we thought it was located. The staff had a poor grasp of English and it seemed to us that they were not geared up to the international market.
A nice place to stay, close enough tu Nuernberg. Also the site as such offers joy to nature-lovers.
breakfast was good the room had a verry small window (we booked two rooms with a balkony but those rooms were not available for a one night stay)
Breakfast is good Single room with sink and shower in the room itself (no separate bathroom). Location is not nice, Hotel is marked as a 3 star hotel, although it is one or two maximum.
The friendly atmosphere. We also liked the location that was magnificent by having a great sunny day. The staff is very competent and service is best.
The staff was very friendly, the food was fine - everything was just fine.
The peacefully countryside - very relaxing. Nice people. Quiet little beautiful city.
food room far too small, and only small roof window. No climate control, so don't visit when it's above 25 centigrade
Gasthof Krone is a nice place for an individual traveler and it's located in a beautiful and peaceful country town. The staff are very kind. I like country style room.
Very, very nice and competent people working there. Good food in the restuarant and nice to find a safe place to park my motorbike! No complaints
the hotel was peaceful
The peacefullness of the environment and the hotel itself. The nature surrounding the hotel is beautiful.
Good location close to autobahn for overnight stop en route to the Adriatic; inexpensive. No restaurant, but two within 100 metres
Very kind staff. Good and clean room for two. Free parking. Close to good evening meal restaurants. Breakfast was ok.
The breakfast. Rich and the owner asked us what else we need except for what's on the table. Small parking
Nice people clean rooms fair price no parking
Easy access from A9. Room with beds for 4 or more people. Good breakfast. Cosy town
Nice little place that Kipfenberg. Too much smoking inside hotel.
The town Kiflingberg and the mountains around.- atmosphere. We were also very lucky with the weather. We missed a good knife to cut the bread to our breakfast.
nice and kind and service minded staff
friendly and helpful staff. The appartment and breakfast was good value for money. Good food in the restaurant also at a very resonabel price slight smell of smoke in the appartment (non-smoker requested) but otherwise clean and tidy.
Good service. Nice city. Excellent breakfast.
Good hotel ,good price..good food ..friendly staff..Family room was in another complex, other side of the street..was a - point!
Warm welcome as late arrival. Generosity and care of owner and staff. heating in rooms closes down after 22.00 hrs
