The pool is amazing, the food is really nice and the rooms are just enough for what you need.
The beds a little too hard for me
The staff was very kind and the hotel was clean.
Taking into account that it is a Spanish hotel the buffet opening times was little bit shocking (breakfast from 07.30 am until 10.30 am?? Dinner from 7.00 pm until 22.00 pm??? I had to woke up early every day being on holiday and coming back from the beach indeed "early" in order to be at the buffet at least by 8.30 pm. In Spain we start dinner at minimum 9 pm...). The buffet was not a real 4 stars one, and neither real Spanish food. It was so sad being at a Melia with such low food quality. No natural orange juice in the oranges region?? Not real coffee and instead coffee from a machine not even a Nespresso one? Disgusting paella in the paella region!! The buffet and their opening times were 100% adapted to foreign tourists. Such a pity since foreign tourists get a wrong concept of Spanish real food :( The location was not good, it was in the middle of chinese/indian shops and British pubs/restaurants. This is not the Benidorm that it used to be... if you want to eat a Paella, a real one, not the touristic one go to Benidorm Poniente.
Safe for families Wouldn’t go as a couple
As a family with children being placed on 22 floor not ideal Glass broken on tables in both rooms booked Food not wiped upon floor when spilled in dining room
The pools are very nice and the food is very good. Staff are very polite and helpful.
I liked everything except for the fact that checking in takes a little too long. I was lucky that there was only a couple of people in front of me. Also, it takes a very long time for tables to be cleared at the restaurant as you wait to be seated. I think the problem is due to being very short staffed.
Room needed to be changed three times as no safety locks worked on balcony, which is not acceptable with young kids. So the check in took over 1 hr. They need to improve this. In general ok hotel, evening entertainment very poor compared to next hotel Flamingo Oasis. Floor was not cleaned very well in room. But hotel is good as we seen no drunk people like in other hotels.... oh, and they charge for parking as well, a bit cheeky.
