So after standing on line to print out the claim, I had to have the claims printed at the baggage drop counter anyway. The person directing people through the process, should being questions people with skis and directing them to the proper place (especially since many people use Geneva Airport to access the French, Swiss and Italian Alps)."

Literally could not move. My travel partner ended up spilling wine on himself primarily due to this and 1/2 size drop down trays. Call button brought no help , had to get up and go retrieve steward in back myself!"

The directions were not clear on the control machine. It did not say to keep pressing start after each activity The flight was ice cold during the entire journey. I was told that if the pilot put on a little heat the others would complain."

I got Molly's special pre packed horrible food all through the flight filled with preservatives and prepackaged. I therefore didn't eat anything. They kept giving me kosher food on top of it . That was worse. I did not order kosher food! So on my entire flight, I ate nothing. The hostess finally found a left over but it was horrible as well. A tiny salad with plain head lettuce, not like the Lufthasa food. This continued into breakfast. Molly food was unhealthy and inedible. I ate one piece of packaged cheese for the entire journey."

Cons: "The space between rows are uncomfortably narrow (and I am a short person). It also does not help when the attendants would not want to disturb a sleeping but have no problem allowing us to eat off a tray with our forehead touching the back of the seat in front. This happened to me on the entire journey on Swiss from Miami to Zurich to Cape Town. It is almost a health hazard not being able to move and forget about trying to even use a laptop because when the person in front recline her seat, you have no room to even type (and my laptop was only a 13 inch Mac.) I am a million miler on United and this is one of the most miserable flights that I have taken. I also don't like the fact that we cannot get seat assignments until 23 hours before departure- not even for preferred travelers."

Cons: "The flight was late boarding and late arriving in Munich. I had a connecting flight to make and that was a harrowing experience. I had no precedence offers the other passengers in deplaning. I was given no help in making my connecting flight. I had to queue up for border control. I had to go up and down numerous escalators. I was stopped by a policeman asking for papers which I had already given to border control. I had to take a train and change terminals. My connecting flight was departing from the farthest gate possible in the terminal. I was running the entire time, and I barely made it. Had I not been running, I would have missed my connection."

Cons: "This was an old aircraft and had a 4 hour delay at Newark due to mechanical problems, causing a return to the gate, deplaning, and then getting back on board. I fly Lufthansa to AVOID this kind of mess. No one spoke the different languages of the passengers (specifically Italian) even though there were some thru-passengers from Munich to Bari. Poor communications during the process. Sometimes just COMMUNICATING WELL seems to make the problem smaller. Not well handled."

Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Pros: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Pros: "I can't even count the number of times I have flown KLM in the last 4 years. They are my airline of choice when I fly back and forth from the U.S. thru Amsterdam to Nairobi. This last flight I boarded and then 90 very exuberant girls from London board in all the rows in front of me. I was concerned it was going to be a less than restful flight. Just the opposite. As always the KLM crew took extra ordinary care of all of use. The service was wonderful and I scooted off the flight ahead of the girls to make my very short connection. So I was pretty surprised when they just offered beef fajitas. I asked for a vegetarian option only to find out there isn’t none. The flight attendant wasn’t super nice about it either, she just said you have to order it online. But at no point I got an email saying, if you want something different than what we offer, tell us! So that was pretty annoying..."

It finally arrived after dinner with the creditcard machine etc. Yes, it was $4.00. I passed. As the coffee service was in full swing."

I wonder if the insurance , I bought initially will cover something of the $ 279 dlls ticket ? Fligth back to EUA was by AA and service was excellent"
