Pros. The breakfast was a huge potion and cooked fresh, however everything was deep fried including the mushrooms.
Cons. There was no heating in our room, the hotel was run down and dirty, the toilet and shower looked used when we arrived, there were sticky stains on the table in the room, when we asked for an additional blanket they refused but they did supply a heater, the receptionist did not understand me when we arrived, there is only on street parking which the local housing estate also uses.
Pros. Staff friendly
Cons. Location. Hotel was dirty old needs a revamp Smelt Rooms were tiny
Cons. I stayed in this hotel during the Conservative Party conference. I arrived to find a bleak place, with visible damp on the walls and spiders webs. There was no lighting in my room and the plumbing wasn't working for other delegates. There was no iron, there wasn't even a cup with my saucer to have a cup of tea. In the morning the reception was full of customers complaining that is was 'not fit for human habitation'. It looked nothing like the photographs.
