The maintenance guy came to open the windows and was very polite.
The room had obviously been broken into at some stage and patched up, the chair was broken, all the furniture was damaged in some way. Also I had 2 children with me, the temp of the room was very hot so we went to the bar to get a drink, unfortunately they had a 100% policy not to accept debit cards. As I didn't have any cash I was told to take the kids to the nearest cash point which wasn't far but we had to walk past a couple of very busy and rowdy pubs which really upset my youngest child.
Good location and value for money
The rooms are very outdated and the beds are small doubles and uncomfortable. The first room we was in had a leaking shower, used condom wrappers in the draws and an old tshirt on top of the wardrobe. Quite disappointed with the first room.
Very fast response to request for a change of room. Staff all very pleasant.
The hotel is very tired and in need of decoration. Lots of areas need an immediate upgrade. Executive rooms are probably equal to a basic room elsewhere.
This hotel needs a good clean and being woken by the fire alarm at 6:0 this morning
The location was great. Staff were really friendly and car parking was reasonably priced for busy Blackpool.
The room was basic, very dated which was fine however it needed a good dusting and hoover. The quilt didnt fit the bed and didnt cover two adults so tug of war all night. The pipes or shower had a stench which was very smelly.
