Pros: Such a lovely B&B, a proper little diamond find. Deb and Ed the proprietors are really lovely. The room was clean, comfortable, plenty of beverages in the room and had a lush bathtub in the en-suite! The B&B is located ideally for exploring the local area. Also only about a half hour drive to Llanberis ( the town at the bottom of snowdon). Breakfast was cooked fresh and really tasty. 10/10.

Tyddyn du Farm Luxury Suites - Blaenau Ffestiniog - Bedroom
4
9.5 Excellent (78 reviews)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view on the mountains, Pero the dog is lovely and the farm and its animals are very well kept. It was nice to meet the landlord, she left the breakfast for us according to our preferences.
Cons: I’m sorry we haven’t had a change to try the bath as it was bit cold in the bathroom and no use of the bath is allowed after 10pm. First night we struggled to sleep due to the soft mattress but got used to it on the second night.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good for families wanting to experience a farm light. Great for my son to get an opportunity to feed a lamb. The apartment i had was a good size and nice and quiet. Location was good for Snowdonia and the coast.
Cons: The oven/grill/microwave was not great.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, lovely comfortable stay, little one loved the animals! Great host, would love to come back again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, quiet venue with a great view of the mountains. Very peaceful. Good location for relaxing. Lots of space in the suite, very comfortable. Lovely shower, and my husband enjoyed the air jacuzzi bath. It was lovely to be able to engage with the animals on the farm and go see them any time. We would definitely return, and recommend.
Cons: We would have liked some hooks in the bathroom to hang robes/towels on, and some hooks somewhere to hang coats.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owner is excellent and the room is large and was very clean. Everything was high quality and we were surprised to be given some newly laid eggs by the owner. The property is on a farm and my partner was delighted to be walking around with a baby lamb on a lead and feeding the other animals. A very nice stay, location wise the property is not within walking distance of facilities but we expected that and it is only a short drive to nearby towns or into the mountains (which is why we were there in the first place).
6.3 Good
Pros: Room was beautiful and specious. Shower was excellent and bed was very comfortable, kitchen, well equipped and clean.
Cons: Sofa and spare room was not clean. Would be good to add more channels to the tv package.(or give option for guests to add channels at their cost)

Pros: Great location, friendly and helpful host, clean hostel, great bathrooms and kitchen area. Great value for money.
Cons: Owner's dog was going free outside of the the Hostel and barking on us couple of times. It would not be a big deal, but my wife is pregnant and it made us very uncomfortable as it was not a small dog. Room 7 needs better ventilation as room window can't be opened much.

Breakfast was lovely, a wonderful selection of teas, coffee, juices, cereals, yoghurts and the owners were happy to prepare you anything you liked cooked specifically to order. The location is very picturesque, would need a car to travel to most places out of the village though, some beautiful local sights to see. Very good value for money.

The rooms are really nice, and everything is perfectly clean. There is plenty of toilet paper, towels and shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: A warm welcome and great flexibility with arrival and departure times.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The beds were super cosy and comfy and located really centrally to the town centre.
Cons: Toilets were a bit broken and maybe milk provision for people to make tea. Also pictures of all rooms would be appreciated on the website.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: That the rooms were clean and tidy, had lockers and they had blankets in side them so that was nice, loads of pillows, really clean beds and rooms nice bar area upstairs.
Cons: If they had spare towels would of been handy, but that was my own stupid mistake for not bringing one like everyone else, was a 20 minute drive to a Tesco’s to get one.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice and quite accommodating. I don’t remember his name but the guy who checked us in also gave us great tips for our road trip the next day. The room was cosy and perfect for the three of us (as it only had three beds, therefore gave us a bit of privacy too)! The facilities were clean, and the upstairs had a lovely big space to chill out in and had a bar top. Also has parking spaces for a car!

Pros: Amazing views all around since the hotel is in Snowdonia park. Nice outdoor beer garden to sit and relax with a drink. Friendly staff. Yummy breakfast! Easy parking right on the street.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice, the location was ideal for our trip . The staff were fantastic, all very friendly and helpful. the food was amazing !!, reasonably priced and the servings were huge , but it was not a case of quantity over quality … the quality was right up there too , and to top it off the bar prices were reasonable too .. all in all a great place to stay for a break in the Snowdon area
Cons: nothing … maybe parking could be improved ,, but that is being extremely picky
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Nice beer garden & veranda to enjoy drinks outside, weather permitting! We took advantage of this. Car parking available on site which is a pretty good size although we couldn’t park on it the first day due to the place being very busy with a gathering after a funeral. No parking problems the second day. The restaurant food was excellent as was the breakfast in the mornings although the service was somewhat slow the first morning. Staff were apologetic & we didn’t miss our booked ZipWorld activities so all good. Overall we all enjoyed our stay at The Grapes and would certainly stay here again in the future.
Cons: Pool table could do with a new cloth putting on but it a great little room to play pool, jukebox music & chat.
6.8 Good
Pros: They were happy to accommodate us earlier than check in time. Very helpful and friendly Manager Simon and the bar staff as well.
Cons: The loudly banging doors inside which we could hear in our room at night.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff very friendly and accommodating
Cons: Thought the price of the room was overpriced.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for 2 nights and would recommend the Grapes as a lovely place to stay. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Everything was well organised. It was easy to book a table for meals - though you need to book in advance as it gets very busy- the Grapes is popular with locals as well as guests. Food was tasty, good portions and reasonable prices for both breakfast and evening meals. Plenty of staff available to help with anything at any time in our experience. We stayed in the cottage which was full of character - has been well renovated- though is a little small. The bar area was comfortable and relaxed, the garden area was also a pleasant place to relax at the end of the day. Well worth a visit- good base for getting around the area.
Cons: Nothing to complain about or dislike during our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so welcoming and accommodating, even preparing us sandwiches to take when we had to leave before breakfast.
10.0 Excellent

The location was good for me because on was on my way and it was a perfect stop. Upgrades (like I’m the bath) are nice. Good water pressure. Included Breakfast included fresh fruit.
Cons: Confusing on where to check in but once I asked at the bar, I was told I was in the right place. Bed could be a bit more comfy. Playground was outside my window and kids were noisy until 8:30. So, if quiet is important to you, ask to be away from that end. There is road noise.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were friendly.
Cons: I wouldn’t have been happy to pay £25 for the room, never mind £50. The bed was rock hard, there were marks on the sheets as soon as we walked in, the whole hotel has a bad smell and the bathroom was filthy.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff were very friendly and welcoming . Nice simple breakfast, food available to purchase in the evening.

Pros: A pleasant stay. Easy to find and the location was excellent for our places to visit. The room was spacious and we were very pleased with the addition of the travel cot. The cleaners were all very pleasant and accommodating.
Cons: The place is very tired and basic. It really is in need of a face lift and modernising. The major let down was the additional charge in order to have a ‘hot’ breakfast. Disappointing.

Cons: Too expensive for the real value.

Pros: Friendly staff and it's nice to hear the hotel is run by volunteers

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location Helpful and friendly staff Good food Easy parking
Cons: I am a walker and often get caught in the rain so a drying room would be good but this is a very minor niggle and very niche
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elan's is great! We had the 3 room suite and it was perfect. The rooms were large and had coffee/tea service en-suite. The bedding was comfortable and we slept great. The pub that is in Elan's has all kinds of great drinks. We arrived late and Helen welcomed us in and gave us potato leek soup with bread. The food was delicious. Breakfast was cooked to order with French press coffee. Everyone was so friendly, from the other guest to the owners. It is filled with history and, as an added plus, there is a local artisan that has jewelry in the front hallway. I bought several pieces. Elan's is really close to Zip World and Portmeiriron Spa.
Cons: Nothing.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The bar area is quirky and interesting
Cons: The hotel is very noisy next to a main road. The mattress was worn out. And the food was very average.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was clean, the bar was cosy with a friendly atmosphere and it is in a beautiful location.
