Good location, friendly staff.
Room was really small. Bathroom was very tight. And the beds were not comfortable at all, which was surprising.
Beautiful location, accessible to center of Boston
The location was perfect. Great view of the Seaport and water. Neighborhood seemed safe and commercial. The concierge suggested a couple of in-the-know place to see in the area.
Parking was not included in my nightly rate. Parking around the hotel was somewhat difficult to find; was able to park in the street because of the holiday.
Good, but not best in the area.
Exercise facilities were packed in mornings and hotel restaurants and bar closed early around 11 pm, even on weekend nights. Having stayed at other hotels in the area I would say the price was a little high for the accomodations but defintely not ridiculous.
Excellent, even though pool was out of order
Clean, spacious rooms and friendly, helpful staff.
Pool was closed but they offered the Seaport across the street.
Did the job
The staff was very helpful and the room was up to par. I would not hesitate to return.
Parking. There was plenty available, however 64 dollars to park overnight is entirely too much.
Wish a continental breakfast was included in price.
Everything was on point. The early check in, house keeping, room service and friendly staff made my stay awesome and I will be staying here again most definitely when visiting from L.A.
We'll be back!
Hotel was nicely decorated in a nautical theme......a mix of modern and whimsical tht worked well, particularly in this location. Housekeeping staff and room service.......5 stars. The only problem we encountered occurred at check in......which was close to 3:00am. After flying all day we finally arrived,in the pouring rain. the parking attendant was so engrossed in watching a movie on his phone tht another employee had to bang on the glass......then actually open the door and tap him on the shoulder to get his attention. unlike other better hotels, he did not hold the door....or help us wth luggage and packages. We were exhausted. Unfortunately, his command of the language was almost nil. I spelled my last name (happens to b a common name) but he could not understand wht I was saying. He asked me to fill out my name info......next, they did not have the type of room we were promised. Again, communication was a HUGE problem.......at 3:00am !!! my daughter kept saying ........sofa bed........and King bed. The desk clerk kept saying no......no......no. I asked for the manager. They said.......no manager.......no supervisor. Finally, after much.....way too much conversation.......they gave us the room we were promised. an hour later, another desk clerk apologized for the mix up and offered us free wifi . From there on everything was good with a very few glitches.
Concierge not helpful. A few staff absolutely cannot communicate with virtually no command of the language. Bellmen were NOT helpful other than to get our car. They don't open doors.......don't help if you have packages........concierge also not real helpful. Gave us misinformation re trolley tours......not particularly friendly or helpful. Cleanliness, pleasant decor, overall good service and better prices......all good reasons to return. Housekeeping staff.......5 Stars!
hotel and room was very nicely decorated.
wifi should be included for what a room costs
Comfort in the city
Excellent staff, a very comfortable room, and convenient to my conference at the Boston Seaport. The facility is very, very clean and modern. The bar was nice with a fireplace. Starbucks in the lobby is a plus.
The valet parking was quite expensive. Luckily, the bellman told me the garage was around the corner, and it saved me $11/day or more.
Looking forward to returning
Nicely designed lobby and rooms. Service was great.
Everything in room item cost extra Cost of parking was high.
Very clean, modern and spacious. The transit system was convenient as we used the 7 day link pass and boarded ferries, subway, buses and trains to go anywhere we wanted. Free internet in the business office. Meals at J. Pace and son nearby were excellent.
too much dependence on the subway gave us headaches from the fumes in the tunnels so we tried to walk outside as much as we could. It was a 20minute walk to long wharf, Quincy market. Sometimes had to wait awhile (10 min) for the silver way bus to get us back to the hotel.
New Facility, nice workout room and lap pool. Close to Downtown on the T Silver Line.
The staff was friendly. They helped me navagate the Boston transit systems to sucessfully start my bike tour of New England. I used the mtba T-line and subway. If I had more time I would have enjoyed visiting the area attractions around the hote.
We liked very much the hotel, comfortable beds, great ocean view, perfect staff, resonable price, spa facilities and locataion - close to the airport and to downtown at the same time, cheap transportation from/to the airport and to the city center /only $2 /with Silver Line. When in Boston sure we'll stay at the Renaissance!
The room was beautiful and the view was great
That the internet was not free
proximity with the congress center + swiming pool
not vegetarian meal at the restaurant
The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and well appointed. Overall a great place to stay. The hotel restaurant is very good but expensive.
A hotel in this price class needs to have complimentary internet access. Paying $13+ per night for what most other hotels offer for free is rather ridiculous.
Hotel was new, well kept and had a modern design. Offered a variety of food and beverage options. Far enough from downtown but a short, easy walk if you want to go. Close to the airport allowing you to use the Silver Line instead of a taxi. Nice waterfront location.
The Renaissance Waterfront Hotel was a perfect spot to enjoy the city for a Memorial Day weekend trip with my fiance. The look was very modern with a classy feel. The staff were very helpful with answering questions pertaining to restaurants, tours and just about anything. Above all they made you feel welcomed.
The staff members were so kind so that I do not need to worry about anything... It was such comfortable feelings at home.
The room charge was rather expensive.
It is in the name, Renaissance, that something innovative exists. Therefore, it should be no surprise that the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel is fully equipped with top-notch amenities and does not cut corners when it comes to luxury. This is obvious given that the hotel was just built in 2008 and already renovated in 2017.
Located in the Seaport District of South Boston, Massachusetts, the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel is in an optimal location for a romantic celebration, business event, or exciting vacation.
The Pacific Grand Ballroom makes a beautiful wedding reception venue. This 10,744 square foot room can hold up to 1,000 guests! Not to mention that there are 471 guest rooms for any late-night wedding dancers or out-of-town guests. The flower girl and ring bearer probably wouldn't mind visiting the Boston Children's Museam which is located less than 1 mile away.
Nothing says “business savvy” like 10 designated meeting rooms and a location that is walking distance from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel provides functional meeting spaces with beautiful coastal views.
Guests can choose from single rooms, double rooms, and suites. Each guest has access the property’s indoor and heated pools, sauna, hot tub, and fitness center for leisure. In terms of dining, there is a convenient restaurant and bar located on the hotel property. Room service is also available in addition to breakfast. Furthermore, Sam Adams Brewery is nearby for guests who enjoy letting loose with a cold pint.
Clearly, the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel is able to cater to a diverse demographic due to its top-notch amenities and multi-lingual staff.
