They had a really efficient, safe outdoor system for picking up and dropping off the car, and were super nice and friendly. And there was a bonus lysol wipe in the car! Everyone I interacted with was so nice and helpful, I've rented cars a lot during the past couple of years and this was by far my best experience.

Clerk at rental center in Logan Airport was not personable at all. Did not answer any questions asked by me. She was only going through motions. At car pickup and drop off, Lady pointed me to a Kia Rio and I asked if it was an Intermediate class car. She said yes. Only later did I find out it wasn’t. When I contacted Enterprise, to dispute being given wrong size car, I was told I would receive a call, straightening things out. Never got the call. When I returned the car, I finally got a credit. My argument is that I wasn’t treated at all like a customer should have been, until the very end of my rental experience. This is an easy way to lose customers.

We returned a day earlier than planned and Enterprise gave us credit for the unused day - which we appreciated. Really nice rental vehicle - only 6400 miles on it and very clean.

Counter representative was great. However, the Car needed service per the dash information screen. Car also vibrated very badly probably due to poor wheel alignment and/or tire balance. Cost for 5 days was outrageously expensive.

Pros: easy pickup; easy drop-off; tireless roadside assistance team that communicated clearly and got the job done. Cons: the first car they gave us died halfway through the rental period; it took about 12 hours to swap out this car with a new one. Here's what happened: We had an easy pickup, and at first the car we rented worked great. Halfway through the rental period, though, the car died about ten seconds after starting it up. Alamo's roadside assistance worked tirelessly to get a jump, but it was the day after Thanksgiving and a service provider was hard to come by. We were also in a rural location, so that may have made things more difficult. Alamo then arranged for us to get an Uber to an Enterprise rental to pick up a new car; later, they had the old car towed. The whole thing took a while; from start to finish it took about 12 hours from calling roadside assistance to getting the replacement car and the tow. Thankfully we weren't planning on going anywhere, so we could afford to hang around while Alamo got everything sorted out. The new car worked great, and dropping it off at the end of the journey was easy. They knocked about 15% off the final price for the faulty car and the trouble it caused us.

I ordered a mid-sized SUV -- what I received was a full size SUV. It worked okay was comfortable and met my needs, but the gas mileage was horrible and it took up a lot of room. No information was provided to prepare for return of the car. no address, or procedures. As it turned out, it was quite simple, but when I tried to get information, about what to expect in terms of time to return the car and to get to our flight, the agent was not very helpful. I have rented cars with a GPS screen which had been pre-programmed for the return. that was most helpful.

Our flight was delayed by weather and I called them to notify. Was told "No problem we'll hold the car". Office Downtown Boston was closed at 5pm. I called customer service and explained that we were not staying in Boston and needed the car to get to New Hampshire. They could not arrange another car until 8am the next day. We canceled and trundled 5 people with luggage by expensive Uber.

Beware of all of the options which cost lots of money. They also tried to give me a car with bad brakes and they didn't explain the $200 deposit. Terrible customer service and no one to talk with on the phone.

Long lines at car rental in BOS, only one employee. I understand short staffing but it made the experience unpleasant at 10pm. Also car was reserved in my name (non driver) since I made the reservation, but had to add my husband (driver) as an additional driver since he said he could not change the reservation into the drivers name. That was a $100 mistake.

When we picked up the car the staff took the car to the back of the building. He did not said why, but after we the left the next morning the tires lights and engine lights came up. This is poor customer services because it cause stress to the customer even that it could been a recalibration it is not proper service that I was expecting from Hertz. What a shame!

The car was in rough shape. The brakes barely worked and made a horrible grinding noise when you pressed on them. We did not feel safe. We also had the car for under three hours total and were charged a late fee. Pretty ridiculous.

When I dropped off the truck I was overcharged by almost $200. I pointed this out to the guy who had checked me in, and he told me not to worry that was just my deposit and it would be refunded back to me in a few days. My flight was delayed so I actually had some extra time so I went into the Avis Service Desk… I WAS actually overcharged. It was NOT my deposit!!! Avis refunded me the money, but I said I wanted to speak to a manager because this is not acceptable. How many people do they rip off daily like this??? People who are in a rush to get to their plane??? I spoke to the manager Drew who told me it was because the scanner read the fuel tank incorrectly (so they charged me for a full tank of gas at $10/gallon.) There are so many things wrong with us I don’t even know where to start. How about, DON’T USE THE SCANNERS IF THEY DON’T WORK AND YOU ARE STEALING FROM PEOPLE AVIS!? Drew did not give a crap about this happening to me, apparently it happens “often.” And I was lucky to catch it when I did or else I would’ve been in paperwork hell trying to file for a refund later. I cannot believe that Avis just does this in their ordinary course of business, knowingly ripping people off with faulty scanners. Somebody should file a class action lawsuit against them. DO NOT RENT FROM AVIS

The pick up agent was good and well mannered. The agent who scanned the car at the garage on the drop off was nice. The desk agent who who printed our final receipt on the other hand, was inappropriate, disrespectful, and out of line. He should be fired. His comments in front of a 11 year old girl should have never happened. All because he thinks he a mask police, and because the color of my skin.

The car had a broken sensor and it told us that the door was a jar every 30 seconds for an entire week. It took almost 2 hours to pick up the car at the airport and the staff were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. When I called about replacing the car I was told either I could have a pick up truck or I could go back to the airport….

Mixed feelings about pickup in Boston at Logan airport. My car wasn't in the designated spot so I had to walk all the way back to the counter. The friendly rep said a premier member must have decided it looked good and drove off with it. This is not a good business model. Then my bill was more than $200 more than I had been quoted--waiting for my credit card statement to see the actual. Then the rep failed to tell me how to work the toll road box I paid so much money for, so it wasn't until my last day that my son showed me how to use it. Waiting to see how that plays out. I expect to have to call Budget and wrangle with them about various charges, so I am not very satisfied with the experience.

Drop off at an off airport location was terrible. Poorly marked, confusing, staff unhelpful. Had to call to find it, no spaces were available to leave the car, had to wait in line to get an agent and was charged $100 because the car was returned after their grace period expired.

Nice clean car but had less than 1/8 tank of fuel when I picked it up. I had to seek out a gas station just a few miles from the airport in the middle of the night just to avoid running out. Of course, when I turned the car 20 days later with a full tank the attendant indicated that there was nothing that he could do for me as far as compensation for having to purchase an extra tank of gas.

The advertised rate was low and that's why I chose it. I was added extra fees without being asked; like tolls, full insurance, etc and didn't realise until I received a note from the bank for the amount charged. When I called the help center, I was told that there was nothing they can do as I had signed the contract. A bit furious for having to pay double the price I was expecting to pay.

Not only did the car cost WAY TOO MUCH, I got swindled into buying gas at a higher price than the average gas station because the attendant told me the gas would cost me $9.99 upon return. And swindled into paying $12.49 per day for toles when I only saw 3 toles for the entire trip. What a total scam and I will be exploring other options for car rentals in the future.

It took as almost an hour in the line to get to the agent. Then after we received the contract and went to the garage, we were told that there were no cars available. The garage agent said that a car would come up every 10 to 15 minutes and we either took what came or wait for the next one. The next car that came up was not the type we booked but we were just frustrated and took it and left. Never had an experience as bad as this before.

You (Kayak) reserved us a vehicle that wasn’t available. We weren’t able to rent a car and had to use ride share for the entire duration of our trip. We are very disappointed with our service through Kayak. The woman at the Dollar Rental desk was supportive of our issues but ultimately unable to help us because of lack of inventory that your system was unable to keep up with.

For a mid-size car the Ford Fusion was a great vehicle. Good leg room, nice amenities. Drop off was quick and efficient. Pick up was laborious. By the time I got to the rental station which was after midnight there was one agent to handle the 8 customers in front of me for both Dollar and Thrifty. The agent worked diligently to keep the line moving. By the time I got to her another agent finally appeared to handle the 30 customers behind me. After a long flight that was delayed an hour the long wait for the agent was tiring.

Unfortunately, there was no chance for me to like anything as E-Z did not have my reservation on file. I spent over an hour at the counter looking to see if the order was wrongfully placed for a different day, if it was set for a different pickup location, or if the rental company had been changed (I individually checked with Alamo, Advantage, Hertz, Enterprise, and more) to unfortunately find out there no company had my reservation on file. By the time the entire ordeal was done, and the option was to reserve a new car, we were so late that we decided to completely change plans and not rent a car for the day. This put extreme stress on myself with family visiting town and I am incredibly frustrated with this experience. Please contact me at mpbrooks16@gmail.com or (708) 212-6034 to advise next steps - I kindly ask to be refunded for both the car rental and the insurance policy as neither were used.

The signage for the desk was difficult to find, the car exterior was dirty including windows and mirrors. The gas wasn t full and was low about 100 miles, I filled it a day later and drove that far before gauge returned to the point where I picked it up

Staff at counter was good, requested a vehicle with "in" state tags. Was told the vehicle had "Massachusetts tags".... it did not, then the gentleman in garage fought with me when I got to the vehicle with "Virginia tags!!!"..... He was very rude and he had 6 vehicles of same model with "Massachusetts tags" but wouldn't let me switch!!!! Ridiculous.....Using another rental company bc upon returning the vehicle I couldnt find anyone to check me out???? So I proceeded to the rental counter and NO ONE there either at 730am in the morning, it's been a few days and yet to recieve my receipt..... Last time I will use a second rate rental company, I travel for a living and if your a businessman dont use EZ car rentals!!!!

There was one staffers who was helpful and apologetic regarding poor signage at the airport. I also appreciated the man who checked the car out and was careful and helpfulThe counter staff were rude and simply did not care. They blamed me for missing the counter sign and could not have been more dismissive and unhelpful. With that attitude, I will avoid EZ rental in the future.

There is always a long line & a long wait to register. The staff is friendly & helpful. I asked about specials; I was told I could upgrade for $45 but was not told that was based on $15 per day. My total was greater than $45. I want a refund for the overage. Returning the car was super simple.

I spent 2hrs waiting in line and missed a meeting because there were over 50 people in line. Then as I tried to change my car I realized you redirected me through Price Line and they would not allow me to change my reservation and then spoke to Payless and they too would not budge even though the line was wrapped 4 times back and forth 50ft and they only had one agent working when I got there... I will NEVER use them or anyone affiliated with them again. I will use another service other than Kayak if they ever redirect me to Price Line (even after I chose a different source for my purchase)

I had to wait in line for exactly an hour and ten minutes with many other frustrated travelers in order to do the paperwork and pick up the car. The clerk proceeded to try to “upswell” the usual prepaid tank of gas scam and to manipulate me into purchasing additional insurance The car had not been properly cleaned. There were what looked like crumbs both in the driver door handle and center console, but also my wife found a discarded face mask in the passenger door storage area. Coming in contact with it was very disconcerting given the COVID pandemic. The visible dust on the exterior was a non-issue for me, however it indicates sloppy cleaning

It took a total of 1 3/4 hours to finally get my car. The line was incredibly long, then my car had a check engine light on which caused another delay. It was a nightmare. But the car was very nice and the return to LGA was extremely easy.

After two unsatisfactory calls to National trying to see if they could stay open later to wait for me, I made a third call and was assured that the place would stay open an extra hour as my flight was late and that was their policy. When I got there (absolutely within that hour), they were closed and I was stranded, having to find alternative transportation and never got that rental car from National.

Drop off was EASY. Airport shuttles were often. I appreciated that the shuttle driver to the airport reminded everyone to check for personal items we may have left in the rentals before he departed.

Staff was great. Expensive, BUT every company had rates up. Not an issue with National, BUT the industry. Great SUV!!!!

I didn't rent from National. I made a res a few weeks ago, but I cancelled it. I got conflicting emails saying it was cancelled and others saying it was still pending. I rented a car from Sixt at BOS airport. Bob 415 663-8305

Excellent staff at pick up and drop off.Car smelled like cigarette smoke and wasn't very clean. Line to pick up car at the airport was VERY long, took over an hour to get the car.

Left iPad in glove compartment. When I returned to the car rental area the iPad hadn't been handed in to the manager or lost property after the car was cleaned which was disappointing. I couldn't check car myself as it had been rented out even though I had returned within 3 hours of having left the car back
