The Verb Hotel in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood hopes to reconnect you with the music and culture that shaped this neighborhood. Architects painstakingly worked to recreate the vibe of the building when it opened as the Fenway Motor Hotel in 1959. The team did not stop there, however, as the two-story hotel is filled with rock n’ roll memorabilia. Guests can enjoy listening to their favorite tunes in the vinyl library, swimming in the seasonally heated swimming pool and dine at the on-site restaurant. Cold brew coffee in the lobby is available daily. Guests also enjoy complimentary access to the Boston Sports Club.
Fenway Park is located within walking distance making this a great place to stay when catching a Red Sox game. Guests will also find many iconic taverns in the area including the House of Blues. Less than a half-mile away, guests can enjoy visiting the Fine Arts Museum while a quiet stroll through the James P Kelleher Rose Garden is a beautiful place to relax on a pretty day. Valet parking with unlimited ins-and-outs makes it easy to explore the rest of the city.
The 93 guestrooms at the Verb Hotel each come with their own record player allowing guests to listen to records from the vinyl library. The rooms also feature ironing boards, televisions, and Wi-Fi. Color-block windows in each room help to set the funky vibe at this hideaway. The attached Hojoko restaurant is a great place to grab a bite with its outdoor patio providing outstanding views of Fenway Park. With modern amenities, rock and roll music, and top-notch customer service, the Verb Hotel is a great place to stay in Boston.

This is a quirky hotel (even better if you like rock), but even if you don’t they have great guest service and the place is super clean.
Pros. Staff was great. Love the Rock n Roll/Alternative vibe and unique touches of the hotel and made me miss FNX and BCN I listened to while growing up. The Verb reminded me of several smaller boutique hotels have stayed at in Europe.
Cons. Not the hotel fault but Fenway was doing sound check at 6:30am which madecsleeping difficult.
Pros. Staff was super accommodating. They let us store our luggage before and after the stay so we could explore the city. The room was cute, with a great view of Fenway Park and the shower was amazing!
Pros. Nostalgic old motel restored with Rock and Roll vibe.
Cons. Busy fall weekend with Convention and Regatta. Verb clearly took advantage with charge with parking and taxes for one bedroom, nothing fancy, nostalgic hotel at OVER $750 FOR A SINGLE NIGHT! Quite outrageous opportunism.
Pros. Staff were very friendly while I was there
Cons. Poor acoustics and therefore very noisy in hallways No option for heat even though the weather never got about 62 the week I I was there.
Pros. Record player in each room. Quality nice smelling lavender shampoo/conditioners. Lovely colorful lighting. Comfy beds/sheets. Good breakfast/coffee. Beautiful view of Fenway. Friendly staff/valet. Excellent location in proximity to a ton of fun things to do in Boston. Would Stay again.
Cons. I don't have any complaints.
Pros. Spacious room. Clean. Great work space to sit and work on computer.
Cons. My door was right next to the exit door for the floor and I was woken up at 2AM three night in a row as a roust crowd came back from the bar closing.
Pros. Convenience to Fenway park which is why we were in Boston. Close to restaurants and bars
Cons. Airconditioning was not good. Several of our rooms had to request fans. Disappointed pool was closed the first day. That night saw a rat swimming in pool. I know price was based in reds of being in town but was pricey. Could have included breakfast at that price
Pros. Nice update to the space. Very convenient location. Good Rates
Cons. Bathroom walls were slightly discolored, otherwise clean.
Cons. $45 for overnight parking was a bit much. Added to nightly cost blows the comparison of cost to other hotels.
