The inn was clean and quiet with a standard continental breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and the AC worked very well. Close to the freeway and Walmart to make it easy for us to get back on the road again. The location, as well as some of the things we noticed around the place, made us suspicious that they had dodgy characters/situations in the past. We noticed nothing current but it still made us wary. Breakfast was Spartan at best and overall the price seemed high for what the hotel offered. I did not compare to the going rate in the area however.
Good location Breakfast is slightly lacking
Very comfortable and clean, the staff was very nice, and checkout time was relaxed. Nothing
All of the staff who we encountered were very pleasant-- when the TV wouldn't work, we called the front desk and an employee came up to our room to fix it. Another employee was on-hand in the morning to make waffles. Wi-fi in the continental breakfast room was adequate (though it wasn't very good in our bedroom). Organic soaps in the bathrooms. But despite these pros, the Lodge had more cons, and I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, the motel felt dirty and a little creepy. The hallways were dim, the carpets and walls were stained. Our window (with no screen) had been left wide open, letting in flies. The window had a small hole in it (from a BB gun?), the window sill was stained, and the curtain was dirty. The phone woke us up when it rang at 6:45am, with nobody on the other end, which also happened to an acquaintance who recently stayed at the Lodge. The mattresses were hard. Not many options for breakfast-- no eggs or other protein available-- and not even real butter for the waffles. I don't recommend this place.
The best part about my stay was checking out of the place. The carpet was wet, there was a weird smell, fixtures were broken, and it was considerable loud.
Staff are very friendly and everything was as expected for the price. Restaurants close by close early.
I chose this hotel due to the advertised free parking. Oh boy, did I ever choose wisely! We also got free wifi, toilet paper MUTHA F#*%NG WAFFLES! Having to supply the FREE sauna with champagne and women.
It was quiet and clean and the bed was passable comfortable. The TV would not turn on and I could not get on hotel Internet despite putting in the correct password - so no entertainment offered! The pool and the sauna were both covered up. The shower felt good, but it could have been really bad if I hadn't figured out that you got the hot water to come by turning to the right instead of the normal left. Yeah.... not staying here again.
There was kind-of a breakfast bar in the mornings, and there was a balcony. There was also a pool that we didn't use, but it looked nice. Overall it was better than sleeping on the street in an emergency. There were cigarette burns all over the bed, there was dirt in the corners, there were Used bottles of complimentary soap, which I carefully threw away, over-all, not the best motel/hotel I have stayed at, but our car broke down and was at the shop and it was better than sleeping on the street. The toilet also was messed up but my husband fixed it for them, and the bath tub slowly leaked onto the floor, which I put towels down for when we took showers. The tv was also very fuzzy and almost not worth watching, the free hi speed wifi that was advertised kept disconnecting and was extremely slow, as well.
The breakfast was good and pool if you have kids Seemed to be a truck stop for big rigs
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Small rooms, next to the freeway and very noisy.
Desk clerk gave us $10 off the room when something went wrong with checking in & it l A.M. Was difficult to find in the dark.
