Pros: The house is stunning, the bedroom was very comfortable with a great view, and the surroundings beautiful, it's very peaceful and quiet. The atmosphere in the drawing room is very pleasant, you can sit by the fire and chat with other guests or just relax. The host is very friendly and so are the rest of the staff. We particularly appreciated the fact that the host and his wife are part of the working staff and also they grow most of the vegetables you eat at dinner, make their own jams, chutney and honey. Excellent home-made food! The host recommended very interesting places to visit in the area.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff. Gorgeous grounds, location although a little distance from Sligo Town was lovely. Breakfast was very good, Dinner smelt amazing but we didn't eat in.
Cons: Although its a character property steeped in history, I feel that the hotel needs to be updated or modernised in a tasteful way, to suit the character of the building. Some of the décor is a little outdated and has a sense of a B&B rather than a hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming, friendly hospitality in a tastefully restored home. Owners very helpful and informative about exploring a most picturesque county.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Anne's. Everything was exceptional; the house is clean, you have your own ensuite, the bed is very comfy, a lovely fire in the morning and evening, there's a bus stop right outside the B&B, it's in walking distance to the Rathcroghan Vistor Centre (highly recommend a visit!), and within a 5 minute drive to the historical sites. Additionally, Anne prepares a delicious bountiful breakfast that will keep you full until dinner. To top it all off, Anne is a wonderful conversationalist and even recommended a nice walking route for the, surprisingly, dry weather. I will definitely be returning. If you're going solo like I did, don't worry, Anne will make you feel right at home!
