Your average corporate conference hotel. Everything was fine, expect that the place has the charme of an airport lounge. But big, nice rooms+bathrooms, friendly staff, easy access. Sits outside of town though, in a bit of a desolate, undeveloped stretch of land.
The third time we've stayed for hockey tournament. Always a nice hotel to stay in, comfortable and quiet at night. Good staff n the whole and friendly. Breakfast wasn't as good a last year.
Very clean with large rooms and good parking facilities. Not a particularly good location but still acceptable.
Nice big rooms, good location, easy parking
The hotel is a fairly new facility. The rooms were larger than most hotels we have stayed in in Italy. It was a little off the beaten path but we enjoyed our stay here.
My husband and I had a very relaxing stay. Great pool and grounds. The staff were extremely helpful.
big room and bathrom. They have only one restaurant, and on saturdays guests can not have a dinner there, because it is ocuppied for a wedding(?!).One restaurant in the village is also busy for wedding! Outside the hotel compuond everything si dirty and poorly maintained..
Location is beautifull, large room and bathroom. Staff not friendly, breakfast very poor and long waiting for new bread and other things. Overpriced menu for diner. We were here end of august and there werent many other guests, bar closed, terraces closed.Room is dark.
Everything! Perfect building, perfect staff and excellent service! This 4-star hotel deserve 5 stars!!! No!
Nice facilities and convienient location close to many of the wine producers in the region. Small historic town was interesting as well.
We were here for the second time: it is just a lovely hotel with verey friendly staff!
Our hosts bent over backwards for us, the location was extremely beautiful, the building was enchanting, the dinner was yummy, the room was large and well-appointed, and we were sorry we only got to stay one day. Oh, and if you're getting married in Italy, this is the place to do it! Don't miss this place... If coming from the US, bring an adaptor if you have electronics to charge
staff were helpful and pleasant at all times i thought that the breakfast was totally inadequate, with very little choice and insufficient selection. the following day i stayed for three days at a less expensive hotel where there was a superb choice. i feel that this hotel was overpriced by far.
Lots of men outside the hotel (our rooms were on the ground floor) smoking and talking late into the night and then in the early morning again.
Frienfly staff, quality stay & service! Nothing less than any 5 star international hotel brand category.
The bed was comfortable and the en suite was acceptable Car parking was not secure, although we arrived on a bank holiday the hotel had no dining facilities open
Camera pulita e spaziosa, ambiente moderno e confortevole, personale affabile e cordiale. Lasciatevi consigliare dal gestore sui posti da visitare, specialmente gastronomicamente.
The staff was pleasant and extremely helpful, especially when we arrived very late (after 11 P.M. when their check-in time was 10 P.M.). They spoke excellent English, which was very much appreciated. They also provided excellent recommendations for seeing the area and restaurants to eat at, as well, and the cappuccinos they offered every morning were fabulous. If you're in the area, go to a wine tasting at Parusso winery. Call 0173-78257, ask for Anna (she speaks English) -- fabulous wine, reasonably priced. Make sure to get directions from her because the winery doesn't show up right on a gps and the ones on the website were confusing. Make reservations at "da Felicin" and Le Torri nearby. The hotel won't show up properly on your gps. It's at the intersection of SP7and Borgo San Martino. It is not on Via San Borgo or anything that sounds similar. The hotel is not actually located in Bra, but a few steps away in the nearby town of Pollenza. (If you have a gps, set it to this setting: n 44 degrees, 41.871 feet. E 007 degrees, 53.157 feet.)
Excellent hotel. Traditional building with all the spirit and the atmoshere of italian winefields. pool, rich breakfast , traditional rooms, excellent services. If you are around STAY at gondina... excellent!
This hotel is a must. It's homely and modern at the same time and they are extremely friendly and helpful.
quiet, clean and confortable
Incredibly hospitable. This is really a diamond in the rough. I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends who visit Piedmont regularly.
Perfect location, attentive staff, great value!
excellent reception by the owner/staff upon arrival. great room and lovely surroundings
Charming little hotel located in a lovely hilltop town of La Morra. Bruno and the rest of the staff were really friendly and extremely helpful with recommendations on places to see, restaurants to dine in and winemakers to visit. The pool was a nice plus on a hot July day! No dining possibility within the hotel, but there are several restaurants within the walking distance.
Loved everything. Classical building renovated and decorated with excellent style without being fussy. Fantastic service from the owners, you only had to voice an interest or wish before they would take care of it for you. Lovely views of the Alps from the room balcony where we enjoyed the afternoon sun. Great breakfast. Definitely excellent value for money at Corte Gondina.
Location is ok, very clos to Barolo town (5 min drive). We had two beds instead of one queen/king size. The windows facing a busy road.
Outstanding breakfast and food service was also of a high standard Nothing poor about hotel except from the fact it looks like it is just outside the town of la morra i.e. More country - the town of la morra and surrounding towns had no activities and there were very few people around - this was disappointing
Good base to explore the wineries in the vicinity. Free wifi worked well. Gorgeous views and good restaurant. Room decor was a bit spartan, not very cosy. Hot water was not working in our room at around 10.30pm (had to skip our shower) but it was ok the next morning.
Staff went out of there way to help us. Beautiful location. Excellent food. Enjoyed every moment!
Romantic design of the hotel. Wonderfull views from the hotel. Quiteness. From the other hand it is just 6 km from Alba.
Stunning scenery, fab food & very attntive, friendly staff. Superb! Rom 3 was next to the breakfast room & the terrace ovrlooked the next door farm yard but the front terrce looking over to the Alps was stunning
The personal engagement and caring attitude from the staff, especially from the owner who is responsible for the restaurant.
We found the room to be immaculate. The service was first class, and Rozzano couldn't do enough for us. They should truly charge extra for the view. That alone is worth the stay. Situated high above the valley on the hillside is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the area. Their restaurant is considered a 5 star and I can agree. Everything was served perfectly and was a true dining experience for us. If anyone is looking for a place to relax, enjoy and to have a fabulous meal, this is it. Il Vigneto is a gem. None. Everything was wonderful
Beautifully restored country estate with panoramic views. Restaurant failed to live up to expectations - limited alternatives in area
This is a lovely small family run hotel (only six rooms) with a very good restaurant on the terrace with the countryside view (the hotel is located on the hill sourranded by the vineyards). We`stayed in the appartment - very romantic :-) Food in the restaurant is excellnet! It is a perfect place either for a romantic weekend + testing a good food and wine or e.g. a place for a night break during your longer trip to Italy.
Nice room with big windows facing to the valley and the wine yard. Wonderful location. All Hotel staffs were kind and restaurant was excellent. There are lots of inscects in the room. It may be because of the season.
lovely quiet, rural location in the middle of a vineyard, a rustic hotel
This hotel is one of the finest i Piemonte. Vere nice rooms, very nice pool and surroundings. The hotel staff is friendly. You get drinks served by the pool and very important; The food is fantastic and the wine aswell. This is it in Piemonte-
Quiet location and great food and wine
This is an outsdanding Inn .Warm, friendly staff, Superb Restaurant featuring Piemontese specialties prepared with finesse with the freshest local produce. Excellent Wine selectiom.Located minutes from La Mora, site of the best Barolo production and 20 minutes from Alba. La Spiga owner Franco gives special attention to your needs. Lovely hotel/restaurant in the country in the middle of Barolo wine country. Excellent food.
Besides being in an ideal, beautiful, rural location among vines and orchards, the food in the restaurant was wonderful. The food was so good, in fact, that we ate there both nights of our stay.
Very friendly staff with good advice about where to go and what to do A bit far away from the action especially if you wanted to do wine tasting. (Drinking and driving) Was slightly disappointed with the menu.
Very good location in the barolo area. Delicious kitchen and friendly staff.
It was a disabled people room with all comodity.A Very pleasant place and very quiet.Good food ans testy wine. Than we could't stay longer!!!
Staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurant was fantastic!
