I would recommend the hotel with caveats. People looking to stay should look for an upper level room. I would call once you book to ask where to park. I still don't know - left my car on street and had to hope there was no ticket.
Pros: Quaint and historic. Centrally located.
Cons: It is a bit bizarre. No desk. No staff. E-mailed me code to the front door and had my room door open and waiting. That is fine but I was not told where to park. Also, old house - very noisy in AM. My room door was at bottom of stairs. Lots of noise in AM
Pros: It was beautiful and historic and comfortable. It was relaxing.
Cons: The coffee maker didnt work.
Pros: The rooms were beautifully decorated and had high ceilings. The full kitchens were great.
Pros: Rooms were old but clean and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: Canada geese squeaked all night. Could not sleep with the endless noise just outside in the river.
Situated in Prescott, this hotel is within 2 mi (3 km) of The Blue Church, Old Stone Mill National Historic Site, and Fort Wellington National Historic Site. Homewood Museum and Palings Family Fun Centre are also within 9 mi (15 km).
Pros: Breakfasts were great. Linens and towels were very nice.
When visiting Prescott, The Colonel's Inn is a great choice to consider. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and full breakfast daily between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM.
Enjoy your visit to Lansdowne with a stay at B & B Tekdiv. For a bite to eat, guests can check out Tekdiv, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms offer room service and free WiFi.
Cons: No office. Had to make a few calls because we arrived in the evening. Not sure of check out procedure
Owner was very friendly, beautiful view of the ST. lawrence river.
Cons: The room was small but ideal just to sleep in.
The view from the motel of the St. Lawrence River is majestic with the Johnstown/Ogdensburg Bridge to the left and the Port of Johnstown Terminal Port to the right. Ships docking, bringing in grain, as well as salt from Goderich, to place in bulk storage. Fort Wellington is only about three kilometers west on Highway #2. It was built during the war of 1812 to defend the shipping route between Montreal and Kinston from attacks from the United States. A must see.
Pros: Staff very congenial Comfortable and clean
We loved the price of this hotel. The owners were very friendly and are obviously fixing the place up. The decor in the renovated rooms is very nice. We liked the location of this hotel, hot far from the 401, down by the river, and the drive along CR2 thru Prescott and Maitland the next day was really nice. We would stay here again.
Pros: I really liked the decor in the renovated room that we stayed in, it would be something I would have in my own house.
Cons: Neighbours came back to the room very late at night and were quite noisy. Rooms aren't very soundproof
Overlooking Saint Lawrence River, this Johnstown inn is less than 0.6 miles from the Canada/USA Bridge. Set on the original landing site of the 1789 Johnstown settlers, the inn features rooms with free Wi-Fi. A microwave, mini-fridge and coffee-making facilities are standard in every simply furnished room at the Bridgewaters Inn. All rooms include a satellite TV and a private entrance. Guests of the Bridgewaters Inn Johnstown have free access to the Prescott Tennis Club, 5 minutes’ drive away. Parking is also free on site. Highway 401 and Prescott Golf Club are both 4 kms from the inn.
Cons: Sofa bed was horrible, and so old, you felt all of the springs - should not be considered a bed.
Cons: no microwave and the furnitures are old.
Pros: Nice clean and includes breakfast
Cons: We had some opened bottle of shampoo
Pros: Clean room friendly staff good breakfast location
Cons: As per industry standard upon check in a photo ID and credit card is required. However mine and my other three family members were debited $150 on our arrival for 'incidental charges' without our knowledge. They refused to provide receipt of reversal.
The hotel was perfect.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent and started early morning which was great because we are early risers.
Cons: There should be ashtrays outside for smokers.
Pros: pool was nice, breakfast was nice
Cons: there was no refrigerator, out of the way place, no brochures
Pros: Location is beautiful, face to 1000 islands lake. Spacious room size.
Cons: Wifi signal is not stable in room. I have to use internet in the yard. Breakfast is not included, which is of course on the description, but still not feel very good.
Adjacent to a golf course, Capricorn Motel Royale Thousand Islands is a great choice for a stay in Ivy Lea. Freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks, and guests can keep active with onsite kayaking and rowing/canoeing. There's also a garden, and rooms offer patios and LED TVs.
Pros: If you do stay you have to expect that you will be staying in a dorm room. Having said that the rooms are clean, and the check in desk staff member was very friendly. Overall great value for ~$70/night especially when compared to the other places competing at that price point
Cons: It was somewhat challenging to find when I first arrived, it would have helped if there was some signage out front to direct me to the hall where the inn was located.
Pros: the place and the staff.
Cons: the beds (but they responded in an excellent way to our complain).
Pros: This is a great place to stay with faimly. Rooms are big, clean and whole place quite pleasing.
Cons: Some facilities are missing like iron etc
Pros: The address could not be registered on our GPS. We got there by entering another civic number for that street. Once there, we had to ask people where was the reception, as it was not well indicated.
Finally, every time we turn around in bed, the mattresses were very noisy!
Cons: It was quiet since it is not located in the centre of the City.
Although there was no luxury, the room was clean.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to relax and kick your feet up. It was conveniently located between towns if you needed groceries etc. The dock down on the water had a perfect view and was very peaceful. They grounds were beautiful and had some places to sit and relax as well.
Pros: The motel had one of the best views of the St Lawrence. The owners were awesome - they were so nice and always checked to see if there was anything we needed or if there were any problems. They made us feel so welcome.
Cons: bathroom was a little small in our room. Just a little hard to maneuver in where the placement of tub, toilet was - but it was manageable.

The accommodation enjoys free Wi-Fi and views of the St. Lawrence River. Each unit offers a microwave, a coffee maker and a private bathroom with toiletries. Some offer a mini fridge, while others have a larger refrigerator. Various restaurants can be found within 2.5 miles from Johnstown Motel. It is 5.6 miles from Fort Wellington National Historic Site, while the town of Prescott is 6.2 miles away.
Pros: We were really surprised that the room was as large as it was . It was actully more like two rooms as it was a family suite. The amenities were great. The bed was super comfortable and the jacuzzi tub would have been coming home with me could I have fit it in my suitcase :-). It's not that it was a super high class place, it's just that it was more than we expected. I would definitely recommend staying there. The ladies at the desk were really nice too.
Cons: As the hotel was way more than we expected, we can't say anything negative at this time at all.
Pros: Price, proximity to destination, no bed bugs.
Pros: We had a Helpful receptionist upon checking in who was able to give us details on the location of the casino for our return trip home
Pros: Good continental breakfast. Nice heated pool. Hotel staff very kind
Cons: Mattress too soft. Furnitures with an old look
Pros: Staff was friendly and efficient. The room was not great but certainly adequate. Complimentary breakfast was decent (although breakfast room is very small).
Cons: Pretty rough around the edges. No soundproofing between room and hallway; lots of noise and swearing in the hallway. Teenagers drinking on the hoods of their cars in the parking lot when I pulled in (mid-afternoon). Generally, didn't feel very safe.
Pros: Vicinity to highway
Cons: The smell. The flooring. The miscommunication about the booking.
Pros: It was clean, quite, the A/C was great, the beds where comfortable.
Cons: Not clean in room
Pros: Room Price was reasonable. Breakfast included was good. Free parking. Close to highway and to stores and restaurants.

Pros: Location just off of the highway served it's purpose for a quick overnight stay

Pros: Location was perfect.
Cons: First room assigned - couldn't get the keycard to work. Re-assigned room had extremely noisy air conditioning unit.
Pros: Room was nearly renovated and nicer then expected.
Pros: The hotel was conveniently priced and located. Booking online was easy and the check in process was great as well. Your housekeeping staff was especially great. The place was spotless. I was expecting less for the price. I will definitely book again.
Cons: Poor security. The exterior doors of the building did not require a key to enter.
Pros: Basic, simple, quiet, clean. Very easy to get to from the 401. Cheap. Good value. Had a good sushi restaurant in the hotel.
Cons: Check in was slow.
Cons: Bed was too soft. Breakfast was not very good.
Pros: Pros: Just off the highway, friendly staff and price was right. Cons: the room was hot could not open the windows and air conditioning wasn't on. I like the fact that I had a microwave and fridge in the room. Would stay again if I visit.
Cons: See above
Pros: The location
Cons: The room smell orible
Cons: They wouldn't upgrade me to two double beds for myself and 17 year old son. Was left with one double bed. The hotel was empty. I offered to pay whatever for the extra bed but nope
Pros: Staff were incredibly helpful. The housekeeper told me 'I love my job!' when I complimented the hotel. Room was renovated. Beds were really comfortable. Nice flat screen TV. Microwave and fridge in the room.
