Pros: Location is right off Vaci utca pedestrian shopping street, completely tourist area, with overpriced tourist knick-knack shops. At least it is near to the Nagy Vasarcsarnok (Great Market Hall) which is a bit of a tourist attraction, and near to Szabadsag Hid (Freedom Bridge).

Cons: Could hear people running around from the room above. No concept of customer service, concierge non-existent (just an empty section of the front desk). E-mails sent to the hotel prior to arrival were not satisfactorily addressed. Television channels missing on the first night, and tv interface is horrible - straight from 2005. Breakfast room very crowded, never enough seats. People were eating in the bar, on short tables due to lack of seating space. Food could be old in the buffet, dried out/stale. This happened on several days. Air-conditioning was tempermental - either too hot or too cold. Beds were cheap, made a lot of noise from poor construction - think cheap wooden slats for support. They temporarily lost the luggage I left with them the morning of checkout, they couldn't remember that it was placed in the overflow room just 1 hour before. An unnecessary headache. I wouldn't stay again - the Zara Intercontinental Hotel on Dohany utca is better located, and service couldn't be any worse.
