Pros: Our hosts were fabulous. We got to spend some time chatting with them the evening we arrived. Wonderful people!
Their home was spacious with comfortable rooms and beds. Breakfast was great and they are located just a few miles from Shannon airport.
Thank you Kathryn, Sean and Denise for such a delightful end to our stay, in Ireland!

Pros: Clean and modern hotel. Room was spacious and food available for room service or in the restaurant was very good. Location was just across the river from the city center. Very short walk to attractions.
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Bartenders were amazing! Front staff was great too, but we were disappointed that they didnt at least offer us a free dessert/breakfast/something when the air in our second room broke during one of the hotter days that they have had. Made sleeping pretty difficult. They did bring us a fan, but that just circulated warm stuffy air.
Cons: While the service, staff and hotel cleanliness were all first rate, little things like a clogged shower (we had to take military showers to avoid an overflow), running toilet and broken a/c unit in one of our two rooms prevent us from giving them 5 stars.

Pros: Convenient to airport and did not hear any planes.
Staff was very helpful with luggage
Pros: The restaurant and food were excellent
Cons: The shower head fell off while showering. The maintenance man had to come up while we were half naked. The beds were very small - 2 singles in my room. The hotel had no service staff - no one to help you to you room with your bags. We were charged top dollar for the room and when we complained to Management, we were told they would call back the next day but never did. We are still waiting on a partial credit for the room and it doesn't seem like its going to happen. Management did not seem willing to help at all - they kept saying it would go into their "report". That report didn't help us in any way. This hotel is supposed to be a teaching hotel. Shame on them.
Pros: ease of check in, food service, staff, proximity to airport, clean room
Cons: I found the on-site restaurants disappointing since it's a restaurant hospitality school as well as a hotel. The service was amazingly slow and the food bland and tastes although presentation was quite nice
Pros: It was so great to be able to walk directly from airport arrivals to my hotel after a long stressful day. Vice Versa in the morning - I checked my bag in for departure and then went back to the hotel to grab breakfast. The hotel was very clean, with updated bathrooms, the staff were responsive and pleasant. Would highly recommend for airport users.

Cons: I did not like leaving so early in the morning.I did not like having to rush breakfast.
Pros: The hotel feels upscale and a bit romantic. It's quite modern, comfortable and the windows are excellent to keep the noise out at night. The location is perfect and the pillows are very comfortable. Excellent value for the money.
Cons: Parking is nearby but an additional cost.
No AC in the bedrooms although a fan is included.
No hair dryer in the room.

Pros: There are so many incredible things to say about this hotel and it's staff. The guy who worked in the mornings (Brian) was so helpful to get me an early check-in when I requested it, and in the evening Shane printed off a bus schedule for me. Speaking of which, it's a simple 15 minute bus ride (costs 2.50 each way) to and from Shannon airport, and there's a bus stop directly in front of the hotel.
The staff in the restaurant were lovely, and even offered to bring food and a pint up to my room if I had requested. The room itself was way bigger than I expected and was clean & comfortable. There's a small market about a 5-minute walk away (called Mace), which has everything you'd ever need if that's your thing. Plus there's a larger market and a number of restaurants about a 15 minute walk away.
This was a great stay for a night stopover in Shannon and I can't recommend it highly enough!
Pros: Super helpful, convenient, clean comfortable room, and the food at the pub restaurant was delicious. Just what we needed between flights from Europe to USA.
Cons: All the ironing boards were being used, but they brought us an iron and we made do. Very helpful, courteous staff. Thanks for a great stay!
Cons: Wi-Fi did not work during our stay (could log in but no ability beyond that - I heard another customer at the front desk showing the problem on their tablet (i.e. it was a hotel problem) but it was never fixed for them or for us. With no international phone coverage on my mobile, Wi-Fi as promised would have been helpful.
Pros: Fine location, very convenient to the airport, relatively comfortable bed, nice shower
Cons: No breakfast included for the price

Pros: It was cute, & quaint. Loved the antique pieces around the public areas.
Was close to airport, which was our main need, as our flight was very early.
Staff was great! Very helpful for our very short stay.
Cons: Bathroom needed more space for our stuff.
We could have used more hangers for our clothes.
Shuttle service to the airport would have been Great!
Pros: There seems to be a rich history here, but little that I saw to tell about it. Stay waa fine, close to Shannon airport.
Pros: Very clean hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff. Fresh brewed real coffee which is hard to find in Ireland. 2 minute drive to Shannon Airport

Great value for the price. We would stay there again.
Pros: The value for the price.
Cons: Water pressure was low in our room.
Most of staff were nice, except for the blond haired bar manager. Rude/hurried. Didn't take time to pay attention to people. (She might even have been an owner?) Left us an overcooked dinner, then no drinks/water for a LONG time, then overcharged us for drinks we never had . Would just quickly walk back and forth from the bar to the reception desk. go figure. There are MUCH better hotels in Ireland. Rooms had no ventilation at all. TINY tv. no fridge in room. Hotel is not in walking distance to anywhere you would want to go. Bed mattress old and lumpy. We left and went to Cahir House and were treated alot better.
Pros: plenty of parking available. Highway location.
Cons: The pool was not for use by children except during the day! We went for a swim after dinner and were told that the facility is actually a private health club, and I couldn't go for a swim with my 14 yr old son. Adults only. We changed hotels.
20 mins from Shannon Airport. Very clean and spaces rooms.
Pros: The room was really big and a very nice set up.

Pros: Friendly reception, spacious rooms, tea/coffee in rooms, private bathrooms

The sports bar is a great place to grab a drink, and guests looking for a bite to eat can check out Contemporary Restaurant, which serves local cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rooms offer premium bedding and free WiFi.
We only needed a bed for the night and being very last minute we weren't too choosy (since most other places in our price range were booked out). If you're looking for something with character and have the luxury of booking in advance I would go with a family run B&B rather than Travelodge. If however you're just looking for a bed for the night this will do just fine.
Pros: Family room gave us enough space for two adults and two kids to sleep comfortably
Cons: Spartan decor. No breakfast included. Attached restaurant was mediocre at best.
Situated in Limerick, this hotel is 0.9 mi (1.5 km) from Gaelic Grounds and within 3 mi (5 km) of The Treaty Stone and King John's Castle. St. Mary's Cathedral is 2.5 mi (4.1 km) away.
The hotel itself is clean and safe. Unfortunately, it's situated in an undesirable location; an unsafe neighbourhood with a 40 minute walk to the downtown area. We were warned by locals not to walk around the hotel at night. This forced us to take cabs home every night at a cost of 10 euros each time. We would have preferred a hotel much closer to the downtown area.
Pros: The breakfast offered in the hotel was very inexpensive.
Cons: There was no air conditioning in the room. We stayed during an unexpected heat wave and the temperature in our room was extremely warm and uncomfortable.
